Udonis Inc. provides Facebook and Google Ads management for a BPO provider. They competed against an in-house team in order to raise the client’s ad spend.
The client’s ad spend per month grew from $50,000 to $200,000–$300,000. Udonis Inc.’s success has led to an ongoing relationship. The team offers flexibility in its range of knowledge, and its responsive management makes for a smooth collaboration.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the business development manager of Yodel Technologies. We utilize voice technology in our BPO, telemarketing, and digital advertising services.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis Inc.?
They work specifically with our digital marketing division.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had an in-house marketing and digital team, and we had been able to spend $50,000 a month on that division. We wanted to grow that spend several times over, so we sought another marketing team that we could bring on to be a competitive lever and compete for our ad spend.
Udonis Inc. works on our spend for Google and Facebook ads. We do some other types of marketing on smaller platforms like Taboola, Yahoo!, and Bing.
What is the team composition?
I work with Mike (Ad Executive, Udonis Inc.). He acts as our project manager. I also communicate with other team members daily.
How did you come to work with Udonis Inc.?
We went to Upwork and put out an ad that described what we wanted to do, the current state of our company, and the scaling we were looking to achieve. We entertained proposals from a handful of companies. We decided on Udonis Inc. because they had the skill set we were looking for and would be a competitor to the other group we were considering.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in late 2018 and is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were able to scale that ad spend up to $200,000–$300,000 per month, and we’ve maintained that while diversifying in a secondary market. They’ve been a pretty valuable tool to the company — hence, our ongoing relationship.
How did Udonis Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Mike is particularly communicative over Slack. He keeps up on deliverables and is so sharp and good at managing his team and finding talent. That’s part of the reason we’re still working with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their overall understanding of the industry stands out to me. Udonis Inc. gave us a versatile team that has knowledge of whatever type of project we end up doing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We expect this from all ad teams, but staying innovative and continuing to learn more about the marketing space. Those would be places they could potentially improve.
Any advice for potential customers?
Communication is key, especially when you’re working with a remote team. Clear communication is the best strategy for working with them and getting the results that we’re looking for.

Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing’s team provides a quality service. Their team is full of strong and sophisticated thinkers. Their analytical process supplemented their efficient workflow. Customers can expect a skilled team that goes above and beyond for their clients.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and founder of a digital agency that designs and develops mobile & web apps.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing?
Since we didn’t have the services in-house, we hired Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing for user acquisition and mobile app marketing.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their team does user acquisition for our clients, including a gaming company. They did a lot of mobile user acquisitions for small and thought-playing iOS games. There was also a lot of work done for mobile platforms.
For example, we did something similar to a mobile booking system for the European market, and we worked with another game company, doing design. Our clients have invested in having a million users as the average acquisition. These are significant game developments and other companies that use user acquisition services exclusively.
Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing performs lead generation, user acquisition, and ads for mostly Facebook. Those campaigns are meant to lead users to the app stores to download the apps and games. They also do email marketing and PPC services as well. We’re currently planning PPC campaigns for new clients.
What is the team composition?
When we were smaller, I worked with the whole team. Now that they’ve grown, I work with 3–4 people. Mihovil (CEO, Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing) manages all the projects within their in-house team.
How did you come to work with Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing?
We met each other at a conference. We also are located in the same town.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $2 million in their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement with Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing started in 2017.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because they report to our clients directly, we don’t track metrics with Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing. Clients invest money in PPC to get the results. They’re not likely to share that information with us.
How did Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they’re good. It’s easy to get in contact with them. Their team manages all their projects on their own. We communicate daily sometimes, and they sell and explain their services to our clients. We even sometimes go as a team to the client. They manage everything because it’s quite complex.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their biggest competitive advantage is that they do work that’s outside of the box. When clients give Udonis Inc., Mobile Marketing a product, they work hard to understand the project. Their team does a discovery and sets the goals for each individual client.
It’s also essential to know a niche of the target audience for advertising. Their team has an in-depth and analytical process for PPC.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They can always improve their relationships with customers through better communication.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them a chance and see the results for yourself. In PPC, you can start with a smaller budget and immediately see results.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a board member of a mobile video game company. Video publishing is our core business.

We publish our own IP for our partners and we wanted someone with experience in mobile app marketing. Among our goals was greater exposure on the App Store and Google Play.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They do advertising and marketing work for us, including all digital advertising for our games. They set up ads on multiple platforms like Facebook and created and edited video materials and commercials. Our mobile ad placement was about 60 percent Android and 40 percent iOS.
Our revenue comes from our networks and marketing section. When we do campaigns, we send them an APK or iOS test ads. They do it all from scratch.
What is the team composition?
I mainly worked with four team members.
How did you come to work with Udonis Inc.?
We had a lack of capital, so we could only consider small companies. We decided Udonis Inc. would be a good fit.

Udonis Inc. manages Facebook ad campaigns to generate targeted leads and improve click-through rates. They run every stage of the campaigns, from content to analysis.
Since beginning the partnership with Udonis Inc., cost per lead has dropped and the percentage of high-quality leads has increased. The agency has undertaken trial projects to test the partnership's efficiency. Their promptness and honesty are crucial to the company's ongoing success.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder of a lead generation company for travel nursing organizations.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis Inc.?
We wanted to generate leads, specifically targeting nurses who might be interested in traveling and would give our clients good quality leads.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The work has all been Facebook advertising. They do everything, from the images to the text and the targeting. We gave them a basic overview of the industry and explained which age groups and relationship statuses are more attracted to travel nursing. They took that and ran with it.
What is the team composition?
I have only contacted one person.
How did you come to work with Udonis Inc.?
I originally found them through Upwork. I was interviewing different agencies, and they were willing to do a project with a small upfront cost and see how things went.
How much have you invested in them?
We have invested between $12,000–$15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in June 2016, and the relationship is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The most important thing has been the cost of each lead. That is ultimately what it comes down to. It isn’t necessarily about just the click-through, it’s about the nurse also providing their contact information to one of our clients.
The entire business revolves around these Facebook campaigns. If they didn’t do a good job, then we wouldn’t be in business.
How did Udonis Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform very well. We most often communicate through Skype. As we got things going, we contacted them every couple of days. Things are going pretty well, and we have a conversation once or twice a month. As long as things look good, we don’t talk about it. They are really easy to work with, and the turnaround time was really fast.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was mostly impressed by their transparency and their willingness to work with you and do sample campaigns for a very low cost. They will eat some of that time upfront to see if they are doing a good job and gauge whether you’re comfortable with a contract. It has been nice to have a month-to-month deal.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them as much information as possible about the industry, and maybe some specific examples of who they might target or why they should target certain people. Some age groups or economic brackets may not be apparent if you’re not part of the industry. Little things you may not feel are important should still be passed onto them so that they can do the best work they can.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of marketing for an outdoor appliance manufacturer.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis, Inc.?
We needed to drive traffic to our B2C website, which targets consumers within the U.K. and North America.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve managed all of our PPC, AdWords, and Facebook advertising. They’ve also done a small amount of SEO, but not too much.
What is the team composition?
I was in touch with their CEO.
How did you come to work with Udonis, Inc.?
They were hired before I joined the company. I believe they were a contact of one of our founders.
How much have you invested in them?
We have spent around £15,000–£20,000 ($21,032–$28,043 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from March 2017–April 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their work has had a positive impact on our company. Although they sometimes found it challenging to get content from us, our campaigns have been quite successful. Overall, the owners have been happy with their work.
How did Udonis, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
It has been positive. We used Skype or email to communicate on a weekly basis, but our meetings were a little longer during campaign time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were quite thorough.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We are just wrapping up our engagement, as we’ve decided that it would be more convenient and efficient for us to work with local resources. Since we are in Scotland and they are in Croatia, it has been a challenge not to have proper face-to-face meetings. As a result, we are changing our team structure to bring a lot of the work in-house. We’ve hired an internal digital marketing manager and contracted local agencies to help execute our digital plans.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of OnTopic Media AG. We’re an online marketing and B2C weight loss platform. Clients take our online courses to learn how to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis, Inc.?
We wanted to expand the scope of our digital marketing efforts by utilizing social media.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Udonis conceptualized and developed a Facebook ad campaign. To do this, they analyzed our customer base to establish a target audience. Then, they redesigned our Google AdWords and led the marketing effort to yield more direct sales. This included creating content that attracts and engages potential customers.
What is the team composition?
We primarily work with their CEO and two other team members.
How did you come to work with Udonis, Inc.?
They were referred to us by a colleague of mine who’d worked with them in the past. I researched them further and ultimately reached out.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $280,000–$310,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project took place December 2016–January 2017.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Daily Facebook sales increased from 10 to 70 within the first two months. The campaign generated sales numbers 30% higher than our previously most profitable month. The specifically tailored ads yield 40%–60% conversion rates.
How did Udonis, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
We mostly communicated via Skype but also utilized conference calls between myself, our head of marketing, and 2–3 people from Udonis. They seamlessly accommodated our needs while operating in a different time zone. As a result, we had no trouble scaling the project and got results quickly. They performed perfectly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We know how to sell our product but were unable to transition our expertise to Facebook without help. Udonis came up with creative marketing concepts we’d never considered. They excelled at providing new ways of engaging customers through multiple points of contact. Also, I enjoyed CEO’s hands-on approach to project management. It’s rare to speak to a CEO more than once when working with an international marketing agency.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. This was an amazing experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Clearly communicate the project’s goal. Furthermore, think about the big picture because they’re capable of adapting to that and delivering. Keeping communication open and frequently asking questions will facilitate a successful engagement.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
My name is Amos Angelovici and I'm the CEO of AdSwapper, an Internet company and ad network that partners with users to provide them a better experience.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis?
We needed help with user acquisition and promoting our solution on social media.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We explained what our company does, our value proposition, and some challenges with our messaging. Starting with a test period, they helped us to better define our social media messaging and our target audience, as well as creating content for social media. We were happy with the results so we continued working.
I don’t know the specific targeting strategies they use, but they identify specific audiences on Facebook and Instagram that engage better with our solution.
What is the team composition?
My primary contact is the CEO. At the beginning, we talked pretty often. As things got more streamlined, I talk to him once a week. We communicate via email, Slack, and Skype.
How did you come to work with Udonis?
I found them online through UpWork. I interviewed them and several other service providers and liked them the most.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $150,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in the middle of 2017 and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They've cut our user acquisition cost to a third of what it was when we started, so for the same money, we're getting triple the amount of user exposure and user acquisition. And it keeps on improving.
How did Udonis perform from a project management standpoint?
They're very responsive and approachable. I can call them at any time, and somebody gets back to me in an hour. The engagement is very easy and pleasant.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Usually, a company working on social media concentrates only on the specific campaign or has a very narrow view of what needs to be done. What I really like about Udonis is that they see the whole picture. They understand that there’s a broader strategy and can provide input for a more holistic approach.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be great if they looked at additional social media outlets.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Use them or treat them as if they're part of your marketing team. Let them see where you explain clearly where you want to go and what you want to. What are your goals so they can best advise you and execute your strategy.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner in charge of sales and marketing for a metal fabrication company. Specifically, we build fire pits and other outdoor backyard features from metal.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Udonis?
We wanted to augment our distribution market by creating a strong online presence. We already sell our goods through traditional brick and mortar stores, but we wanted to enhance our website and increase traffic (through Facebook ads) that we could convert to sales, either online or in stores.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Udonis was in charge of digital marketing and optimizing our website. The focal point was Facebook advertising, so they set up the campaigns and directed the content we should create depending on the budgets we gave them. They managed our Facebook engagement, used heat maps to track where people went on our site, tracked analytics, and setup retargeting so we could advertise to people on Facebook. Beyond those main responsibilities, they also provided advice on branding and assisted with some SEO.
What is the team dynamic?
I work with one primary contact point and then we both reported to our respective teams.
How did you come to work with Udonis?
I found quite a few companies just by looking online. I came across Udonis’ work, had a Skype call, did a test trial that went well, and then we hired them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in December 2016 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since last year, our Amazon sales have grown over 800%, and our website traffic has had a similar increase. We had around 400 Facebook followers before hiring Udonis, and now we’re around 7,000, which is significant because we can remarket those people. Our company grew both online and offline, and I believe a lot of that is due to Udonis.
How did Udonis perform from a project management standpoint?
The whole team is responsive; I can expect an answer to any question within a day. We mainly use Skype to communicate and they’re transparent with reports and what you want them to track. Having worked with other agencies, Udonis is definitely above average. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
What did you find most impressive about them?
In our trial period, I noticed they’re very results-oriented. They concentrate on the sales, not necessarily vanity metrics like brand awareness. They’re hyper-focused on long-term relationships and results, and they were involved in the whole process, from planning to execution. Most other agencies reduce engagement in the execution phase, but Udonis executed on our plans right after we made them, which is why we’re seeing actionable results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This wasn’t an issue for us, but it would probably be helpful if they had someone on the ground in the U.S. We don’t have a problem with digital communication, but a physical presence could be helpful for companies that can’t communicate remotely as efficiently.
Advice for potential customers?
