I am the B2B Marketing and Communications Leader of a global provider of strategic operations support (SOS), which includes consulting, managed services, data sciences, and technology across the entire insurance lifecycle. The company’s proficiency extends to underwriting, actuarial services, catastrophe modeling, and exposure management, policy services, claims, BI and reporting, finance and accounting, and application development. We have offices in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Poland, Australia, and India.

When we hired them for SEO, we got what we needed, but they also consulted on our site design, paid campaigns, and conversions, which helped us to enhance our design and increase conversion rates. Once our SEO was in good shape, we decided to reallocate our budget and focus on paid advertising with them. When we hired them for their SEO and PPC services, they also provided advice for website improvements and other channels. They provided a holistic consulting approach as an agency to us which was extremely helpful and grew our relationship & projects over time. If they notice something is affecting the conversion rate, they’ll mention it, work with us on it, and give their best advice.

What was the team composition?

Our team used to coordinate with their Project Manager Shawn and he would work with their team internally. We had multiple resources deployed on our campaigns at any given time, including a Content Writer, SEO Specialist, Advertising Expert, and Graphic Designer. The Owners Viraj & Ram were involved in all communications and would be a part of the monthly review meetings we had.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've seen a considerable improvement in website engagement and user experience. Our organic traffic has grown by over 300% year on year and we've received an average of 20-25 inquiries through SEO. The retargeting ads they've set up for us ensure we're constantly at the top of the mind of prospective customers and that has helped improved our Brand visibility online.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The collaboration between both our teams was very smooth. We had weekly/bi-weekly meetings to review performance and progress. Apart from that, they set up and shared regular project updates and reports through SEMrush and Google Ads for us to review prior to our meetings. We used their Zoom bridge to share screens and carry out discussions. Other communications would happen regularly over email, Skype, and phone calls.

Firstly, we collaborated on a web-based survey app that allowed us to gather information from the public and generate health scores based on their responses. Through this app, we collected valuable data and provided individuals with insights into their overall well-being. We worked on a web-based Teacher portal, a centralized platform for content providers. 

This portal enabled us to upload various forms of content, including blogs and videos, providing an extensive range of educational resources for teachers and learners alike. We jointly developed a mobile app that users could download on their smartphones. 

This app allowed users to track their health scores and receive personalized recommendations for activities to improve their well-being. With the help of this mobile app, users were empowered to take charge of their health and make positive lifestyle changes.

These plans outlined tasks, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring smooth progress throughout the project. 

In the development phase, their team implemented the designs and built the necessary backend infrastructure, APIs, and databases. The Tru Performance team conducted rigorous testing in quality assurance to identify and resolve any issues or bugs. Functional, usability, performance, and security testing were carried out to ensure a high-quality end product.

We've had a string of successes with them. They’ve gotten us six new customers, all of whom are amazing. They're one of the only agencies that have been able to get us new customers, and they always do an amazing job at booking demos for us too!

They use excellent tools and strategies for managing the project efficiently which produces maximum productivity.

Their team is very knowledgeable about the needs of our company. They were able to get a good idea of what we needed and how much it would cost us, which has been great because this was something that could have gone wrong with other vendors before had I not known them personally.
