Trajectory is Atlanta's no-nonsense web design company. We build beautiful, high-performing websites for companies who are done with agency runaround.
Most businesses have been burned before. Projects that drag on months past deadline. Getting sold by the senior partner, then handed to an intern. Vague timelines, surprise invoices, and websites that launch late and still don't work. We hear these stories constantly.
We work differently.
Every project is founder-led from start to finish, supported by a small team of senior specialists. You will never get handed off to a junior account manager learning on your budget.
We have never missed a deadline. 20 years. 200+ projects. We set clear timelines and stick to them. It is not complicated. It is just how we operate.
We help translate complex products, services, and missions into messaging your audience actually understands. We do not just design pages. We help you figure out what to say and how to say it.
Our process is clear. No mysteries. No surprises. You will know exactly what is happening at every stage, from discovery through launch and handoff. We build on Webflow: fast, secure, and something your team can actually maintain.
We work with established companies across manufacturing, engineering, professional services, and technical industries. Organizations with something real to communicate who value reliability and personal attention over the cheapest option.
No BS. No junior handoffs. No missed deadlines. Just great websites, on time.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the communications coordinator at a nonprofit called Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Trajectory Web Design?
Our website was very outdated, so we needed to refresh it and give it a more modern look. We hired Trajectory Web Design to help us accomplish that.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Trajectory Web Design built us a new website. Initially, we provided them with some guidelines and information about our old website to help jumpstart the process. We also gave them a lot of insights and feedback on what we were looking for. From there, their team proceeded with the work, and we were able to launch the new website in June 2021. After the launch, they helped us implement new features and pages that we needed.
The website serves as a one-stop shop for anyone who wants information about our organization. It has information about our staff, board of directors, mission, and events. People can also make donations directly through the site.
What is the team composition?
We worked directly with Josh (Principal & Creative Director).
How did you come to work with Trajectory Web Design?
One of our board members, who had worked with Trajectory Web Design in the past, recommended them. We also went through an RFP process.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $10,000–$50,000. We initially paid $20,000 up front and made smaller payments throughout the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together on this project from January–June 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been able to reach a lot of eyes with the new website. In the last calendar year, our website accumulated a total of 29,000 visitors, 28,000 of which were new visitors.
How did Trajectory Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a good job from project management perspective. Josh was great to work with — whenever we had any issues or requests, he was always available and ready to help us. He was also very responsive. We also had regular check-in meetings with him.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything that Trajectory Web Design could’ve improved on. We were really happy with their work.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Mr. Stat, a historical golf platform. We archive records from every champion of every golf tournament held in Georgia.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Trajectory Web Design?
We needed to build a website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Trajectory Web Design built our website from scratch using Craft. When I first talked to them, I was on a trip. We spent almost an hour talking, and they answered my questions. I knew what I wanted, but I didn’t know how to get there, so Trajectory Web Design told me what they thought. After our first conversation, they made a proposal and mailed it to me. They walked me through the project and what to expect. Then, they put together a platform and sent it for review.
The website was an information page where users could see Georgia’s golf history; it included the golf tournaments and champions with the top ten finishes. Also, users could contact us through email to send information.
What is the team composition?
We only dealt with Josh (Principal & Creative Director).
How did you come to work with Trajectory Web Design?
I went to the Georgia State Golf Association website and liked it. I called the association and asked them who did their site. They told me, and I asked for more information. In the end, they gave their thumbs up several times, so I contacted Trajectory Web Design.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent over $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I spoke with them for the first time in January 2018, and the website went public in May 2018. We’ve been working with Trajectory Web Design for five years; they provide hosting services.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve grown a bit each year. Trajectory Web Design created a website where we could share information, and the site is catching on. Website traffic was up about 80% compared with the first two months last year. Moreover, we’re up 1,000% compared to January–February 2019. We're very happy with the results.
How did Trajectory Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Their timetable was pretty spot on, and they delivered everything they promised. We communicated through phone calls and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Trajectory Web Design knew what they were doing. They listened to what we wanted and made it work. Overall, they were good at their job, and we made an excellent team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we had no problems at all.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and president of Fly By Night, a retail furniture business in Western Massachusetts. We’ve been around for 32 years.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Trajectory Web Design?
We’ve had many websites over the past decades, but we’ve never been really happy with them. Those websites haven’t really portrayed the character of our store and what makes it unique, so we wanted to find a way to convey the value of our locally owned and personalized-service store.
One of the things we wanted to accomplish differently than others was having a website that featured all of our products and product information but actually didn’t allow sales through it. We weren’t trying to become an e-commerce site. Instead, our purpose was to serve local and regional customers.
Our main goal with this approach was getting potential customers to go have the confidence to drive from a regional area and go into our store. We’re one of the rare furniture stores that don’t sell on a commission basis. Everyone on our team is on a salary, so selling our products is a team effort.
It was very important for us to have people come to our store to see our furniture in person, sit on it, and feel it. Therefore, we needed help with building a website that walked the line of having enough information about our products but without making it an e-commerce site.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Trajectory helped us design and develop a new website for our business. Initially, had a kick-off meeting to go through the look and feel we wanted to achieve for the site. As a business that has been existing for a long time, we already had our style guidelines, including the colors and fonts we use, as well as hundreds of thousands of photos that we had sot in our own studio.
We also showed Trajectory our old website, but they basically started working on the new one from scratch. Still, they had a lot of material to work with. Throughout this process, we worked with them to help us convey our voice and define the right look and feel for our site.
We already had our own voice, but we needed to update it. Thus, Trajectory came to the table with a very detailed list of website parts that they had already developed. It was like a test, where they asked us which elements we liked the most out of various options. After that, Trajectory used Craft CMS to build the site and custom-coded it to improve its efficiency and implement all the elements we had chosen.
During the development process, Trajectory also offered a hands-on approach to its design. They offered suggestions on things like altering our brand colors a little bit or changing the language without losing sense of it so that we could speak to a younger audience.
On top of that, Trajectory was able to incorporate our videos, our Matterport 3D tour, and a widget to display our Google reviews. Additionally, they designed the website so that I could make changes to all the pages I wanted and still keep the right look and feel. On our site, we have a blog that we call a learning center, and its pages can be a cross-reference from product pages or categories.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Josh (Principal & Creative Director), a copywriter, and a designer.
How did you come to work with Trajectory Web Design?
We had used the same website for over 10 years, which had been built by local people. After the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, we realized that we didn’t have to work with local people and could open up to the entire world of website developers and designers. Therefore, I started searching and interviewing many companies from all over the US, Canada, and Great Britain, trying to find the right company that was small enough to give us the service we wanted but still had the expertise to pull the project off.
I found Trajectory while looking for companies that used Craft CMS because we felt that it would be the right technology to use. A great thing about looking for a web developer online was that I was able to look at their past work and their own website.
I really liked the look and feel of the websites that Trajectory had created. When I went to their own website, I started reading their blog and realized that they had a great understanding of marketing. One of their blogs really resonated with me, so I decided to contact them and start the interview process with them. After looking at hundreds of other websites, I ultimately decided to work with Trajectory.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $55,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from late January–late April 2022.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since launching our new site, we’ve seen a great increase in our click-through rate, and the users’ time on the site has increased by around 50%. Additionally, our business has grown. Now, we have more and better-qualified customers going to our store because they have more information about what they’ll find before walking into the store.
The site has allowed us to provide a better service because we don’t need to spend time going through the information that has already been covered on the site. On it, users can find a very organized FAQ section about our delivery and logistics. Those results are very important for us because our goal is to build long-term relationships with our clients, and we’ve seen that come to fruition.
We’ve been in business for a long time, and this is the first time that we’ve had a site that actually conveys the experience of coming into our store. That’s what we were looking for. Moreover, thanks to the fact that Trajectory custom-coded our site, we don’t have unnecessary features on it that other template-based sites have. This allows the site to load quickly and be very efficient. Moreover, the way it works is very elegant.
How did Trajectory Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Trajectory was very detailed and performed as promised. They always let us know what we needed to do and how much time their work would take, depending on whether we did what we had to do on time or not. Moreover, they constantly reminded us of how our different decisions would impact the timeline, making them ultimately accountable for the result. They kept track of the exact timelines in a very scientific way.
Another great thing about working with Trajectory was that they let us have all the revisions we wanted at no extra cost. Thus, we didn’t feel like we had to settle for anything. I’ve been working with different service providers for almost 35 years now, and working with Trajectory was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
Although Trajectory wasn’t the most affordable company, they weren’t the most expensive either. Still, they let us pay for the project in three parts — a third of the cost in the beginning, another third in the middle, and the rest at the end. Since then, they’ve done a lot of other things for us without billing us. Whenever we ask them for a change, they implement it within a day or two.
Throughout the process, Trajectory provided me with short-form videos to explain all the steps I needed to go through to manipulate anything on the site. I was able to keep all those videos in a library. Those training videos have been really helpful. Now, I can make changes to the website myself.
To this day, if I ever have a question, I can reach out to Josh, and he’ll provide me with a video answer, so I’m constantly learning. Additionally, I can go back to the other videos and watch them again in a very efficient way. It’s almost as if he was teaching me how to fish instead of providing me with the fish.
As for other collaboration tools, Trajectory used Google Docs and a spreadsheet software tool to manage the project. Moreover, we used Google Meet and email to communicate. Whenever I sent them an email, they replied within 10–15 minutes with a Google Meet link for us to meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Trajectory’s proactivity and detail-oriented approach were outstanding. On top of that, I really liked that Josh was very involved in the whole process. From the highest level down to the smallest detail, he ensured that every part of the project was handled by the most competent person on his team, which was very important for us.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a business partner for a concrete subcontractor.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Trajectory Web Design?
We wanted to drive more traffic to our overall brand name. When we purchased the company, it was predominantly a residential concrete business. Many local builders knew the name, but we wanted to expand into the commercial space and partner with general contractors, so we needed to drive traffic to our website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Trajectory Web Design has built our website from scratch. First, they mapped out a detailed schedule to develop the website and set timing expectations. Once we finalized the structure and formatting, we worked on the colors and aesthetics. They also linked the website to our social media pages.
The team is also responsible for the website’s maintenance and hosting. The website serves as a reflection of who we are as a company. The landing page features a video informing users about the locations we service and our typical scope of work.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with Josh (Principal & Creative Director) and another team member.
How did you come to work with Trajectory Web Design?
We found them on Google and submitted an inquiry through their website. Then, we set up a call to discuss our business.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around January 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Trajectory Web Design has delivered a nice product that is a good branding tool because it shows we’re not just another concrete company. We’re not tracking leads, but the website traffic has increased by over 100%. We’ve experienced a significant ROI with the website, and our commercial division has grown rapidly.
How did Trajectory Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Trajectory Web Design has exceeded our expectations for project management. We typically communicate via phone and email. We also met via Microsoft Teams in the beginning stages of the project.
They orchestrated a smooth development process, updating us and resetting expectations whenever plans shifted. They regularly supplied us with updated schedules, which helped us align on timing. BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the firm administrator of a law firm. We specialize in business bankruptcy and healthcare transactions.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Trajectory Web Design?
Our previous website was on Drupal and making edits wasn’t user-friendly at all; We wanted to take on as much of that ourselves. Initially, we were looking to do a web refresh, which turned into removing our existing site to a new platform and rebuilding it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Trajectory Web Design ended up building a brand-new website for us. There was a completely new design for the website. We took new photos and went through the process of helping Trajectory Web Design understand what we do so they could create our content. We’ve continued to use them for hosting and one-off projects where we need to make changes to the website, changes we can’t do ourselves.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact is Josh (Principal & Creative Director). He has a team of people behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Trajectory Web Design?
We found them through a web search. Our team interviewed 3–4 other agencies and ultimately selected Trajectory Web Design. We liked their designs, and they seemed to be the easiest to work with by far. Their prices were reasonable for what we were trying to accomplish and had the best outcome for administrative and backend use for us going forward.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $24,000. That covers everything from the initial website, SEO and PPC campaigns, our most recent redesign, and website hosting and maintenance.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in February 2019. They’re currently helping us stage and launch a new version of our website.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our website’s traffic has increased, and we’ve found a couple of clients that way; that’s not typically how we get our clients so it’s a bonus. We’ve had a great experience working with Trajectory Web Design. They’re constantly helping us improve, and they pay attention. We’re happy with them and their work.
How did Trajectory Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Trajectory Web Design sets clear intentions from the get-go. After our kickoff calls, they send a timeline and that timeline changes in real-time. This method is very useful in terms of managing expectations and making sure the project stays on track. This couldn’t have been clearer, and it’s clear immediately from the beginning, which I personally like.
What did you find most impressive about them?
My favorite thing about working with them is communication. They’re very clear and intentional in everything they do. If we need something, they confirm that we need it, update the project timeline, and then confirm when it’s done. Just those little things where I’m not having to be the one constantly following up is very valuable to someone who’s really busy. That takes a lot off my mental plate.
Communication with Trajectory Web Design is incredible. Their work is good and reasonably priced. They don’t waste our time or their time. It’s been an easy process from start to finish.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any areas that need improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They have a procedure in place that starts with a kickoff call. They’ll ask you a lot of questions, and they may send you a survey. Go through the process because that’s what’s going to help you get the most out of your end product. You will have to give some of your time and opinion in order to get something great out of your work.

Trajectory Web Design helped rebuild a website for a media planning company. They designed and developed the site based on a detailed questionnaire and using Craft.
The final product from Trajectory Web Design met the client’s expectations and has given them confidence in directing customers to their platform. The level of service was exceptional, with the team paying close attention to the needs of the project and their timeline.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder & CCO of Agency672. We assist other advertising agencies and in-house marketing departments with their out-of-home media planning and buying, such as billboards, sides of buses, etc.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Trajectory Web Design?
We needed our website to be redone, so we hired their team.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
I showed them some examples from other sites that appealed to me. From there, they gave me a comprehensive questionnaire for design elements, flow, font, color, and other features, to get an understanding of what I was looking to get.
Based on this, they revamped the entire website. The logo stayed the same, but they did a new design and built the website. Trajectory Web Design used Craft for the platform and taught me how to make copy changes.
What is the team composition?
Josh (Principal, Creative Director) was my direct contact. I believe the team working with him was less than 10 people.
How did you come to work with Trajectory Web Design?
I searched online and may have found them on Clutch. I liked the personable and quick response I received, compared with other agencies I reached out to.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost $9,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from August 2019–January 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Feedback from our clients and vendors has been very positive. I’m proud to direct people to the website and very happy with the results of the work done by this team.
How did Trajectory Web Design perform from a project management standpoint?
I was impressed by their project management. They had an Excel document outlining each phase of the project, including parameters for me to work within regarding approvals, etc. The estimated launch date was changeable.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were excellent at communicating, following up, and paying attention to every detail. They had great customer service.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there is anything to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Let them do what they do; they’ve come up with a great way to lead clients through the process. Don’t take too long to give approvals.
