Todor3D helped us build AR memorials for pets. The team created a web app so that users could easily access the platform without having to download anything. Users could visit the memorial by clicking a link.
We initially worked with another agency that created the platform’s foundation. Todor3D took over the project and added new features to the platform. The team used Blender and 8th Wall as the tech stack for the 3D renders.

To create a 3D Interactive Interface for a product. Customers can scan a barcode on the physical product, which then takes them to a website page they can touch, spin around, and learn more about the product. Text populates for each side of the product, sound effects take place on each rotation as well as sound effects for the text that types out. Each part of the bottle can be interacted with and will also take you to another page. You can even change the "skins" on the product displaying different product colors based on the flavor.

What challenge were you trying to address with T3D?
We had more assignments in our team because of new clients, and I had to reassign some existing development projects according to different expertise. Additionally, we had to outsource some projects related to 3D technology, so we reached out to T3D. We also had some complex projects that required a different approach to 3D technology. I initially gave these projects to someone else who didn’t manage them well. Therefore, I canceled this collaboration and gave these projects to T3D.Â
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
T3D provides 3D web development for our clients. Every time we start a project or implementation, we provide them with a brief and documentation with all the information about the requirements, technologies used, and mock-ups. They process the documentation and integrate the team into our workflow.Â
For example, we had a complex project involving a space-planning system with components that needed to be combined for users to create furniture and walls. This platform also needed very friendly capabilities. We had the components, and T3D taught the app to join these pieces to create objects. The app can now stick pieces together automatically and create a summary of components users can delete to add new ones, everything in one interface.Â
Currently, we’re still collaborating on the space-planning project in a different phase of implementation. We also have three ongoing projects and plan to work on more projects with them.

I found them on Upwork, where we published a few of our projects, and they bid on them. After some reviews and interviews, we chose T3D for projects related to 3D technology because they had quite extensive experience in the field.

We started working together around March 2021, and our project is ongoing.Â

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Â
T3D has been very helpful because they’ve enabled us to move faster and start our new projects quickly while keeping our existing clients. The team has done a great job with the space-planning app; they successfully built it, and we’re very happy with the result. Moreover, the team is very responsive. Their involvement allows us to take on new projects that bring more revenue to our company. Overall, we have a good collaboration with them.Â
How did T3D perform from a project management standpoint?
We provide project management. However, if the T3D team thinks tasks need to be structured differently, they can change the overall plan of implementation. Working within the timeline and the budget is almost impossible sometimes. However, this isn’t something that affects our relationship with T3D or the clients because the team always responds well to modifying timelines or budgets.Â
We can’t always foresee what might come up during implementation, so we ask the team to give us a rough cost and timeline estimation with room to extend or modify the budget. Although this has happened on some projects, it’s normal in software development. Moreover, T3D stays within the parameters, and they always let us know why delays happen. They’re pretty transparent, so we feel secure about their work and know they’ll deliver.Â
We use email to communicate and Google Workspace to share project documentation and key files. Meanwhile, we use Upwork for contracts, invoices, collaboration, milestones, and task management. This approach keeps both T3D and us safe under a specific contract.Â
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed by T3D’s ease in solving big problems. For example, we had a project we thought would be difficult to implement, and they resolved it nicely, quickly, and cleanly. At that point, we knew that they were very good at what they did. They have the skills, take work seriously, and always deliver.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve with timelines and have a better organization with deliveries. However, this depends on the workload and the technical issues that may occur during implementation, so this isn’t always achievable. Still, it’s the only thing I would ask them to focus on improving.Â
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I advise preparing very good recommendations because if you do, T3D’s delivery will be faster and of better quality. If you don’t give them good information about your requirements, it’ll be harder for them to turn in what you want. When we started working with them, they were very happy we could provide this detailed documentation. Therefore, do your homework before you go to T3D.

Website traffic has increased as well as we have had positive feedback from our user base as well as investors. We are pleased with the work completed so far.

The communication is excellent and very responsive. We utilize Telegram as the main method of communication as well as have calls via Google Meets or Zoom.

T3D’s ability to work with 3D data and build tools around it is impressive. Most developers can create websites and landing pages, but not everyone works in 3D.

What challenge were you trying to address with T3D?
We were trying to design a product that didn't exist. We needed a 3D model of a fictitious product to make my research experiment. We also needed an interactive model of the development so that participants could interact with the product through our website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
T3D provided custom software development and design from scratch using Three.JS. They created a custom 3D model and implemented an interactive web page that enabled the participants to interact with the product.
They also designed a web page and made it interactive. Additionally, their team provided analytics code to track the users’ behavior, like how long they stayed on that page, how many clicks they did, and how they interacted. Â
They now provide maintenance because we’re doing a series of experiments; whenever we call them, they take care of everything within 1–2 days.

I was in direct contact with one person for the software and one for the product and web page design. Â
