BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the GM and founder of Jobbox, a peer-to-peer tool and equipment rental platform. We facilitate transactions, connecting renters with owners.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
I hired Tintash to build our mobile app and update our website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tintash built the cross-platform app from scratch. I didn’t have wireframes, just a general idea of what I wanted the app to do and look like. They helped me break down how we would achieve those goals, starting with the discovery phase, which led to mockups and finally, production. The app is built for both iOS and Android.
As far as the website, Tintash mainly just gave it a facelift. There’s not a lot of high-level functionality, it’s more just to highlight and promote our app.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was our project manager Sajjad (Senior Software Engineer), and once we got into production, there were at least four other staff members on our calls. Beyond that, they may have had some others working in the background.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
I did some initial research online, and came across Tintash. After narrowing down my choices to four, I had some calls and received proposals, making my decision based on that. They weren’t the cheapest, but I knew early on they were my favorite choice.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $53,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since July 2020. The apps are scheduled to go live in about a week.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app hasn’t been released yet, so I don’t have any metrics or results. I’ve been able to share it with my team, friends, and family, and the feedback has been great. Everyone’s been very pleased with the look and feel as well as the functionality of the app.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
They were phenomenal. Sajjad did a great job leading the team. They were excellent at taking my thoughts, ideas, and concepts, and filling in the gaps. As someone who’s not tech-savvy, it was great that they were able to come up with solutions to get me to the end result.
We kept in touch through email regularly, as well as a weekly conference call on Google Meet, where we discussed progress, updates, and questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When I was deciding who to partner with, it was clear they listened well and understood what I wanted. Tintash just gets it. They could conceptualize my thoughts and build a roadmap to get me to my desired results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
On the design side, I think I would prefer more sleek, sophisticated designs.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be available, be engaged, and give proper, honest feedback.

Tintash provides outsourced development services to boost a healthcare tech company’s development abilities. They’ve prototyped a mobile app to test the concept and now do machine learning for another project.
Compared to previous engineering firms, Tintash vets their engineers to ensure that each person is motivated and willing to learn. Their high engagement helps build rapport between the internal and outsourced teams, and they directly contribute to customer-facing work.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CTO of a healthcare technology company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
Tintash supports us in multiple areas from mobile app development to staff augmentation when our internal resources are at capacity.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve worked with Tintash on two major projects. The first was a prototype for a mobile app that would serve as a proof of concept — we wanted to see if the product was viable enough to even begin building. Their team tackled the Android portion of the app.
Currently, they’re augmenting our web development by providing machine learning specialists. It’s full-stack development, including testing, frontend, and backend work using JavaScript. Thanks to them, we’re able to move faster.
What is the team composition?
They’ve provided three engineers.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
I found them through a referral from a mutual contact.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost has been around $75,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in October 2019 and are still working with them.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The reason we continue to work with Tintash is that they provide good engineers who meet or exceed our expectations. Generally speaking, their resources go through a rigorous interview process to ensure that everyone is motivated and willing to learn. They act more like they’re a part of our internal team compared to other firms we’ve used in the past.
One indicator of success is that we don’t just use them to build things for testing. They work with us on things that get shipped as customer features, so we need them done correctly for delivery. And, they certainly deliver there.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
The rapport is pretty good between our team and theirs. Everyone is easy to work with and provides good results. They communicate with us via Slack, Zoom, and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Unlike other outsourced engineering firms, Tintash takes the time to schedule quarterly feedback calls on how their team members are doing. What are they doing well? How can they improve? Are there other areas can they help with?
From my perspective, it seems like it’s done in a very good nature. The team is willing to learn our workflows and understands what will benefit our customers. That’s definitely encouraging.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t know if this is a bad thing, but we’re trying to hire another person through them, but their team is going too quickly to other projects.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you’re open and honest during the initial calls. Share what you’re looking for and the problems you’re trying to solve because they’ll go out and find the right person to fit your needs. Otherwise, there will be mixed messages.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the director of a sound therapy company. We have a mobile app that gives our users personalized therapy to strengthen their hearing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
We had already developed an app for iOS, so we were looking for a partner that could help us develop an Android app in a timely and cost-effective manner.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They started the Android app from scratch. They looked at the iOS app and code to get an understanding of how it worked. However, iOS and Android languages are quite different. Although they were able to understand the functionality, they had to create an entirely new code for Android.
Originally, we had them sign on for the Android app, but as things progressed, we were so impressed that we felt comfortable letting them work on our iOS app as well. After they finished developed the Android app, they cleaned the iOS app and got rid of the bugs we had been experiencing.
Along with that, they went ahead and updated our backend, so everything is now in sync.
What is the team composition?
There were five individuals on the initial team, including a technical product manager, a QA engineer, and three Android developers ranging from junior to senior developers.
As we needed more help with the backend and iOS, we brought on two iOS engineers, a backend engineer, and a frontend engineer.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
We were part of a startup program in Los Angeles and one of the mentors referred us to Tintash. We had initial conversations, but at that time we were working with a different development team. It wasn’t until five or six months later that we felt that we needed to go to someone else. The current team couldn’t scale as much as we needed.
We spoke to Tintash as well as other potential development firms, but every time we jumped on the phone with them, they were so accommodating. They would bring on individuals from multiple teams to answer any questions we had. The team was prepared for every phone call and had a plan in mind before we even released any code to them.
They took the time to prepare which showed us that if we actually worked with them, they would do the same thing. The deciding factor was that they were thorough, transparent, and they went above and beyond.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent around $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in December 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The Android app isn’t available yet as it’s still in beta. Their changes have been significant, but we just don’t have the mechanisms to measure it yet.
We measured the success of the relationship by what they got done within the two design sprints we put on. They were on time and completed whatever they said they would get done during that sprint.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
We would have two calls a week. In the first weekly call, they would bring on an individual from each team that we were working with who would then give us their summary of what they did the week prior and what they had planned for the present week. The second call would go into what they had completed for the week.
In terms of transparency and communication, they were very thorough, provided numerous reports, and would update us every day on what they were working on through Slack. I also got development updates through GitHub. When it came to communication, they were amazing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think the biggest thing was that they were able to give us really good feedback. They thought of scenarios that could occur that they felt needed to be addressed. They brought up things that could impact the future of our business that we hadn’t even thought about. Their problem-solving and forward-thinking were really impressive to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wish we had better communication hours, but that is totally fine because we can’t really change that since they are remote. Overall, it has been great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask a lot of questions. They are extremely patient. If you want to talk to them for three hours, they will sit there on the phone with you. If you have 100 questions, they will sit there and answer those 100 questions.
They are very understanding and can explain technical concepts in layperson’s term. They are a major resource of knowledge and technical know-how. See them as a partner that you can rely on.

Tintash created a mobile entertainment app for an emerging tech startup, utilizing React Native. They focused on integrating APIs to make both the iOS and Android apps function optimally.
While some of their more junior staff lack the industry expertise, the team is consistently willing to accommodate their partner’s timeline and tight budget. They exceeded expectations in their level of effort and thoroughness of communication. Using project management tools, the teams were aligned.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of a small bootstrapped company that’s currently working on its MVP.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
We needed help pushing to project forward while I built out my own internal development team.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They were in charge of mobile development using React Native. I had in-house developers working on backend elements, so they had to coordinate and work in tandem with that team quite frequently. This was particularly important when Tintash was integrating APIs into iOS and Android apps.
In the final product, they provided login systems that were connected with Facebook and internal APIs to our backend database. The apps also allow for profile creation and network-style utility. We’re targeting the SMB and consumer market with this entertainment application.
What is the team composition?
We started with one senior developer, but then expanded to two when a more junior member was assigned to us. Our team is paying for one resource, but the senior teammate is supervising the other. So, we’re getting the services of two people to some extent.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
I’ve known them for a while. We met about eight years ago when I was running another company.
How much have you invested with them?
In total, we spent between $10,000–$25,000. We were working at a monthly rate of $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from August–October 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The reason I continue working with them is that they’re very accommodating to their customers. They’re a young company that does their best to deliver quality work. Within reason, the team is also able to work with our budget, too.
Because of that, we give them some leeway. The senior developer was great, taking initiative and presenting us with high-quality work before being replaced by a junior developer. I was less impressed with the quality of the work on the mobile application. There were cases of obvious bugs that affected the experience of the solution. However, given the amount that I paid, they went above and beyond what was required of them. All in all, they did pretty well.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re good at communication, always involved in our weekly meetings and interacting with my team outside of those meetings. We were aligned on expectations the entire time. Our teams interfaced via Google Hangouts, Slack, and occasionally Jira.
What did you find most impressive about them?
On an hourly rate, they’re comparable to other dev firms, but our budget was very tight. We needed someone who could work within our price range, and our team found that in Tintash. Their willingness to provide us resources to help us move forward made a huge difference.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As a company, I don’t think there’s anything. However, the work of the junior developer was not up to my expectations. At the same time, they were very accommodating with the price. In the end, it was quite fair.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be highly communicative. They want your feedback and are accommodating with schedules and budgets. If you communicate upfront, honestly, and frequently, you’ll be good.

client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CTO at an agricultural AI company. We offer sensors that can be used with animals to help farmers make decisions. There’s a lot of technology that goes with it, from the hardware to the cloud platform to the AI and machine learning to the app that we use to serve these insights to the farmer.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
We’re based in Amsterdam and have a pretty good team here, but it takes time and money to grow our resources as needed. It can be difficult to train your workforce and get them up to date on the latest tools and technologies that you’re using. For this reason, we wanted a company that could provide engineering team augmentation.
My main concerns were the speed at which we could deliver features on the app and the cost-effectiveness of the process. I was hesitant coming into the engagement, but my primary focus was giving my team some extra bandwidth to keep producing more features on the app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
I see them as an extension of my team here. I’ve had prior experiences with offshore development companies that saw more than enough challenges around communication. The first project I did with Tintash was just a trial, and it was completely independent of the rest of what we do. We were trying out some new hypotheses and a new feature set.
I was able to give it to them, and because they delivered on time, on budget, and to spec, I decided to extend it. Now we work in tandem. For example, we’ll have some of their guys focus on the backend features, while my guys will take the frontend features.
In other cases, Tintash is working on the frontend, and my guys are working on the backend. I have enough overlap across the two teams that I can expand and contract as needed. I also have this peace of mind that, in case one person is unavailable or sick, we can always find someone else from Tintash’s side.
We’ve been working on different product lines and new feature ideas. I also have a weekly sprint with Tintash compared to a monthly or quarterly rhythm that I can run with my guys. We currently have seven different projects across three distinct product lines that they’ve ramped up on.
What is the team composition?
I engage with the project manager and the developers directly if needed. My engagement with the developers is happening less and less because it’s not needed. There’s also elasticity in how quickly they can add and remove people from the team.
In terms of headcount, there’s anywhere from 3–5 people across QA, product management, program management, and the actual development. There are about 12 people that have come in and out, and some have stayed on the same project. It’s nice that I haven’t had to worry about who’s on it. Whenever they put somebody new on a project, it happens seamlessly.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
I went through five or six different outsourcing companies, and Tintash was right at the top for me. I know the co-founder; we attended the same college. I did an open call in an alumni group, and the other co-founder, who is also from that college, happened to be there. We didn’t know each other, but he told us we should try it out, and to their credit, they removed themselves from that initial evaluation process.
I met with my friend at the beginning and gave him full disclosure that I’m working with his guys. It has been very professional, which is something I was concerned about initially with having a personal relationship. I feared that there would be a conflict of interest, but they have kept lines of communication very clear and clean.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2019, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
In the beginning, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to take the risk, but it turns out the risk was worth it. Everything has improved.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
I’ve been pretty hands-on with what we’ve developed here. I built most of the stack and, at least the first versions, I made myself. I interacted with the developers a decent amount in the beginning. Now we’ve gotten to a point where I’ve worked myself out of a job, which is great.
I don’t have to be on every single design review, and the team kind of self organizes. I’m having more strategic, milestone-based discussions. Where there’s a tie, I go in as tie-breaker. I’m still generally in the loop as to what’s going on, but I rarely have to pull information. Most of the information is pushed to me.
The whole process is also very transparent. Every week’s sprint is clearly laid out because we’re always working on a very fixed set of deliverables. In some cases, where we’re just doing some prototyping, some new ideation, or just ramping up on the technology, we tend to keep it a little bit more fluid.
They take less than a week, sometimes just a couple days, to ramp up on the existing tech. They start contributing very quickly, and they’re very diligent about documentation and communication. If they’re stuck on a technical problem, I often don’t even hear about it. If they’re struggling with a semantic or design element, they let me know immediately so that I can jump in.
Initially, I thought I’d have to write a detailed SOW with specs, and that, if I mess up, they were going to build the wrong thing. I ended up drawing it out on a whiteboard, giving them detail about the code. They broke it down into what was needed in terms of the project and tasks, and they came up with workflows as well. We communicate via Slack, email, and Google Hangouts.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication has been excellent. They listen and get back to me to make sure the right expectations are met. The engineering is superior too. I think the best part is that it’s cheaper to use them than to hire someone full time. I can hire one or two guys for the amount of money that I pay Tintash for 3-5 guys, and it’d take three months to ramp them up before they start contributing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. They’ve made my life so much better, and they’ve exceeded my expectations.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them as much or as little as needed, but be clear about what you want. There’s room for ambiguity, and they will always deliver to spec. If there’s some confusion, they’ll work very hard to disambiguate and to remove any lack of clarity. If you give them something that’s half-baked from an idea perspective, you might have to go through a few cycles.
I could have gotten more out of my engagement with them if I had spent a little more time initially planning. Some of the design stuff could have been done better, and that would have probably helped the project cost less money.

Tintash is developing a 3D modeling application for desktop environments. The team is building the app on Unity for both macOS and Windows.
Tintash’s work has been crucial to overall growth, and internal stakeholders are pleased with the design and functionality of the app. Organized and efficient, the team regularly delivers within short timeframes. They’ve displayed an ability to execute while negotiating external challenges.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the vice president of engineering at an online interior design company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
The business problem that we're tackling is, essentially, creating a 3D modeling application for online interior design. We want to facilitate the interaction between our clients and our designers with an app that has an excellent UX. Our goal is to have a product that empowers our end users to create and share designs easily.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tintash is developing the product from scratch. It’s a Unity app that runs on both Mac and Windows. Although we have an in-house product and design team, Tintash has, on occasion, provided UX expertise that has contributed to the overall functionality of the app.
As of right now, the product is certainly a power-user app for our vendors that have a background in design. It serves as a powerful tool for communicating ideas to clients. Our plan is to expand the functionality of the application to include more users.
What is the team composition?
We have one–if not two–project leads. I say that because we’ve had one project lead for a long time, and there’s been another who has facilitated in an associate capacity.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
I inherited the Tintash team from a predecessor, so I don’t know the details surrounding the initial decision to hire them. We’ve chosen to stick with them because they’re a fantastic partner.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent somewhere between $200,000–$999,999.
What is the status of this engagement?
I’m not sure exactly, but I believe that we started in March 2017. It’s been at least two years now.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They are instrumental—critical, even—for the success of our business. Their work has contributed to some initial versions that were essential towards proving out our idea.
If not for this partnership, we most likely would not have been able to pursue the ideas that are now central to our experience. At the very least, we would not have been able to accomplish this in such a cost-effective or strategic fashion without Tintash.
The usage of the product has been primarily internal at this point, and there’s certainly a feeling of delight amongst the handful of designers who have interacted with version one.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re a fantastic partner. Given the array of ideas, inputs, and requirements that they’ve had to manage, the team has done a terrific job of organizing their work to hit deadlines consistently. Both of our project leads have been phenomenal.
We use email fairly often and do a weekly check-in over Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Execution is the first word that comes to mind. They organize themselves well and communicate effectively. Also, they’re routinely able to understand our intent and reflect it back to use to make sure that we’re in agreement. They’re also always able to implement our ideas.
We’ve continued to partner with them because they’re responsive and produce great work. They’ve also reacted in such a professional capacity throughout various challenging situations. Even with tight deadlines and limited resources, the team delivered exactly what we’ve asked. All of us here are very enthusiastic about our relationship with Tintash.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There is some room for improvement in terms of their communication skills. This is certainly a challenge with any remote, distributed team, especially one whose native language is not English. That’s the one thing that I can think of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Tintash has proved to be a great partner. They execute and take direction very well. If the scope of the work is well understood, and the statement of work is well defined, then the relationship is likely to be a very fruitful one, for both sides.
Tintash does well when given general ideas, but you can’t expect them to deliver to your expectations if you provide them with a vision that is too broad and doesn’t include any details. I think that’s true for any distributed team.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the COO of Ander, a platform for businesses in various industries to connect to employees and customers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Tintash?
We needed a full-stack solutions partner that understood games and could work constructively—challenging assumption while delivering steady progress—as we worked with customers and provided services.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to bring our platform to life for our customers.
SOLUTION
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Tintash was our developer of record for the project. Using our designs, they performed native front- and backend development for apps in iOS and Android. They also created the services that powered the apps, including various account management and personal tracking tools as well as a wrist-wearable activity tracker. The tracker verifies and rewards participation through game-like mechanisms. Their team also made ways for the design team to create and automatically deliver new content.
The app takes feedback from a separately manufactured activity tracker. This was a tricky part to accomplish because the software development kit (SDK) lacked immaturity, and there were hidden assumptions about the data being sent to the app. Tintash steadfastly identified, troubleshot, and accurately scoped the issues and regularly delivered progress that impressed all stakeholders on our side.
Their team also actively contributed to our UX thinking and UI implementation, carefully taking our user stories and creating interaction maps, mockups, wireframes, and UI screens. Their work increased the speed of production. We were impressed with the way Tintash approached our problems together with us.
What was the team composition?
We worked with approximately two iOS developers, two Android developers, three backend developers, two QA testers, and two UI/UX specialists. A technical producer led the team.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Tintash was critical to our platform’s success. Our primary deliverable in the early stages was to prove capacity and capability to our stakeholders. With Tintash onboard, our designs quickly were realized, and we could demonstrate the product’s speed and quality. Their work allowed us to close investment and set up beta tests with combination investment-sales channel partners.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We completed the work using agile methodology. We used all Agile artifacts and had excellent communication through calls, Slack, and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Tintash quickly understood our goals, constructively scoped the project, and built a team to deliver. We also appreciated how they well managed our expectations and their resources.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can’t think of anything. We still work with their team, and we plan to work with them further.

Tintash provides web and mobile app development services for a real estate technology platform. In addition to a React-based web app, they built iOS and Android products using Swift and Kotlin.
Tintash capably coordinated the development processes of products outside their standard portfolio. They offered valuable opinions regarding the practicality of the existing designs, and the team is receptive to frequent rounds of feedback. Organized and communicative, they are an ideal partner.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CTO of a real estate technology company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
We engaged Tintash to help us scale our engineering team quickly without having to go through the process of hiring and training engineers. We looked to Tintash to provide plug-and-play engineering resources for the development of our web and mobile applications.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We didn’t have any preexisting code for Tintash to build from, but we provided them with wireframes and specifications of what we wanted the platform’s design to be. We relied on Tintash to build native mobile apps for iOS and Android, using Swift and Kotlin, respectively, and the web app uses React. Tintash’s engineers helped determine which development options were practical based on our design.
The basis of our platform is that it connects buyers and sellers. While the latter is used to focus on lead management and perform team admin tasks, the mobile app is a much simpler product that allows users to manage leads remotely via push notifications and follow-up prompts.
What is the team composition?
We work with a group of about 12 people, which includes three iOS developers, three Android developers, two backend resources, one frontend engineer, and various project managers.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
We met with a few companies and held some discovery calls before our CFO introduced us to Tintash.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement began in August 2018 and remains ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are thrilled with the product Tintash has delivered.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
We appreciate their flexibility and how communicative they have been. We use Slack for instant messaging and Jira for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They specialize in mobile game development, so our project was quite a bit outside of their vertical, and yet they took what little context they had about the United States real estate market and quickly understood the problem we were trying to solve. That was pretty amazing. Tintash handled the complexity of our project with relative ease, which not all companies can do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we are continually iterating on our processes to make them perfect. We go over possible improvements every other week, so if there is a problem, it’s already been remedied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Every project is not going to be perfect, but having a high level of communication and transparency will go a long way toward helping teams work well together.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the head of innovations at Bed Bath & Beyond, a large home goods retailer.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tintash?
We engage Tintash for various development and prototyping projects. We require an efficient full-stack development team.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Many of the details about our projects are confidential, but through our many engagements, Tintash has demonstrated their expertise while working with iOS mobile applications, a Unity gaming platform, a Python-based backend for creating 3D assets, and products utilizing AR/VR functionality.
What is the team composition?
Across all of our projects, we’ve worked with about 20 people.
How did you come to work with Tintash?
I worked with Tintash initially while previously working at a startup. I was so taken with their work that I asked them to partner with us on our many projects at Bed Bath & Beyond once I took my position here.
What is the status of this engagement?
Tintash has worked on various Bed Bath & Beyond projects since March 2017. We have an ongoing relationship.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For all of our projects, Tintash has worked hard to deliver products on time. I’d argue that the quality of their work puts them above what we could find in Silicon Valley.
How did Tintash perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate well with Tintash through Google Hangouts and Jira. We’ve had no trouble whatsoever. They’ve been diligent in all matters, and that is sometimes hard to find in outsourcing teams.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I am fond of the quality of their work and their willingness to be present as a team member. They are committed and extremely loyal.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we have worked very well together. Truthfully, they should get out of outsourcing and start their own product company. They are well-equipped to do so.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Treat them as a part of your own team.
