I needed a partner to design and develop a website for my MVP.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Once we agreed to terms with Tino Digital Agency, their team lead a discovery period when they learned about the business as well as the goals and the project vision. When the discovery phase was done, we came up with a schedule for our work. Each phase of the project included a mockup and feedback opportunity. Then, their team made revisions and improvements to the platform. We finished with the delivery of the product. Phase one of the project was completed. There will be several follow up projects over the next 30–40 days because I'm a startup.
What is the team composition?
I was in contact with one person who worked with a team.
How did you come to work with Tino Digital Agency?
I interviewed them as well as a handful of other web design companies. Then, I selected Tino Digital Agency for their expertise and their work, which I was able to see on their website and Dribble.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent $6,000 as of right now with the expectation that the cost will be between $10,000–$12,000 through my hard launch date.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in November 2018 and it wrapped up last week. The hard launch will be February 1st, 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have the site up yet, but from a founder’s standpoint, good talent is hard to find. For Tino Digital Agency, I was satisfied with the quality of work. Their team took my ideas and translated them into the website. My business premise is unique. I explained this to Tino Digital Agency: I envision this fictitious room of 50 people of different backgrounds, genders, and ethnicities. I pull up my website and in a split second, I have to convince all of them that this is the site for them so I needed a designer to create a website that appeals to the masses. Tino Digital Agency came through for me with a homepage that's a combination of animation, language, and images. So, I appreciate their hard work and diligence in creating that for me.
How did Tino Digital Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They were responsive. Their team was always available and timely. We communicated mostly via email but we also did a couple of Zoom video conferences where we shared screens to make sure that we were on the same page or their team needed further insight from me. We were also in contact by phone from time to time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The combination of quality work and the price was perfect for me. I’m a startup and on a limited budget, so I wanted to get the most bang for my buck.

We reviewed several designers' paltforms and choose several providers at Behance. Negotiated and choose TINO Agency due to their nice portfolio and appropriate for us approach.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a detailed interview where I described the concept and overall business process vision. We also set up the main goals and objectives. Very soon we got the first version of prototype that became the base for changes. The provider caught the idea very well and it was easy to correct and made changes in the UX process. At the UI stage I got 3 different design concepts, chose one and this stage had gone smoothly. During UI we recognized that some UX changes must be done. And the provider did it without any problem. Provider works quite quickly. All the delays are at our side
What was the team composition?
We have one project manager who supports us any time via e-mail, Telegram or phone. And we have one main developer that we contact with in case it’s needed. All communications are well organized by our project manager.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We showed the prototype of the S&D Application, web-site and back-end to our current clients & investors. And they all are very impressed and gave us good feedback. We've got financing and are ready to start IT development.
We also made some investigation among our small clients to clarify if it is attractive for them to have such and application that stores all their digited by S&D ideas (i.e. financial models). And 95% of them supported the idea and agreed with it.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager that we connected with is very easy to communicate with and provides us timely updates. We connect over Telegram messenger for current issues, conduct Skype conferences several times to set up the goals & objectives, to clarify complicated business process. I’m really impressed by their feedback and suggestion how to improve or make more efficient the application.

I’m really impressed by their feedback and suggestions of how to improve or make more efficient the application. They also prepare video presentation of the prototype. It was amazing.

They created a brand, digital marketing strategy, and a website. We started with branding. After I answered a series of questions, Tino Digital team prepared mission, client profiles, logo, and business cards.
Then, we crafted a digital marketing strategy. The approach was chosen after the first session. Project manager asked me a series of questions again, and together, we decided on the best way to proceed. We settled on a series of 10 weekly meetings during which we discussed and brainstormed solutions.
The last step was to create a website that would serve my business goals. Their team started with crafting the design and I focused on writing the content for the site.
I was given a list of the keywords, which were identified during the marketing strategy stage, to use that would help the SEO. After the design was approved and the content prepared the developer created the website and we went live.

Throughout the project I communicated with project manager, Anastasia, who was on top of all communications. Senior designer and a designer were working on the online brand for the school and the website design. Later, developer created the website.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
My business came to life in better ways that I could have imagined. It was noticed by the community of meditation and healing teachers.
Online community, that we envisioned, targets high-quality participants and has a restrictive entry, already has over 400 active participants. It is a valuable source of clients and also joy, to share and communicate with like minded people.

The project was structured in stages. For each stage we had a first meeting during which all schedule was laid out and expectations.
We had a meeting for each milestone and I provided feedback. I knew what the team is working on and when to expect the next deliverable.
