I’m the CMO at MARQ Labs, and we’re a global beauty business that manufactures and markets our own brands as well as the manufactured products of other brands.

What challenge were you trying to address with Texonica?

We’ve been running Google Ads for about six years. As we were scaling, getting into new countries, and launching new websites, we noticed that the complexity of the ad structures and campaigns was getting a bit too far out of our reach.

We needed someone to come in and create a new strategy for how we move forward. We wanted to generate better conversions, better tracking, and better insights that we could turn into actionable items for our website and overall strategy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, Texonica did a complete audit of our current structure and setup. They looked through things that were optimized and other things that could be optimized. Then, they rolled out a strategy for our day-to-day ads.

Now, they do creative updates and keyword targeting to create a more effective sales funnel while also monitoring and tracking conversions. The team works on creative concepts and gives us ideas on what new features can be added to the site. They’ve also set up our global Google Shopping page.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with Kamil (Google Ad strategist), an account manager, and another person who’s actively tweaking our campaigns and updating things on a day-to-day basis. 

How did you come to work with Texonica?

I put a job ad up, and they were the best applicant. I had a call with Kamil, and he wasn’t afraid to say what was wrong with the campaigns, so we had a truly collaborative conversation.

Over the past months, we’ve spent around €10,000 ($11,900 USD).

We started working with them in July 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we’re working on Google Ads, measuring success is straightforward. We can see what the return is on every dollar we spend. We’ve seen great improvements on that side while also scaling to get more customers and increasing our budget. That’s generally the hardest thing to do, but they’re instrumental in helping us work with these complicated structures.

Another way to measure success is getting more repeat customers or customers who come back again and again. We’ve been seeing that on Google Analytics. We’ve also had a stronger brand presence. 

How did Texonica perform from a project management standpoint?

I feel truly confident in their abilities. I’m not a good micromanager, so I like that I can trust them to do their job and stay on top of it. It’s very rare that I need to pick them up on anything. It’s always nice to have this out-of-the-box service. We use email to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Working in digital advertising is really technical. They have a strong technical knowledge, and that has been helpful. I trust them to execute their tasks well and guide us to the best practices.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t. Their work has all been pretty good, and there’s nothing worth calling out. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’ll tell customers to work with Texonica. They make life easy, and they’re highly skilled. More and more people are added to our account, which gives me more confidence that they’re able to achieve results. Given that, if I were a potential customer, I wouldn’t really hesitate too long.

I am the company owner/director. We specialise in flue and ducting systems with all ancillary services that come with this part of the construction industry.

We wanted to reach the decision-makers online within our industry. Our projects range from domestic, commercial and industrial including government work so we needed to appeal to all of the above.

Whilst researching trustworthy proven companies online we came across Texonica, my business partner set up a meeting with Kamil who provided him with some quality advice and information on what we should be expecting and achieving.

My role was to supply Texonica with any relevant information for our advertising campaigns. Texonica is responsible for all of our online advertising and strategy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We noticed almost immediately that our online presents were increased. It's hard to gauge vs sales but we did notice our turnover increase YOY after Texonica were involved with our online advertising strategy.

Our weekly reports provide us with relevant information on increased impressions, clicks etc that generally improve. We seem to be reaching our target markets with the quality calls and emails we have received.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication has always been excellent and thorough. Texonica is always quick to respond to emails with answers to any questions we may have. They are supportive of any new campaigns that we may want to try with quality feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Communication has always been excellent. It was very easy in our initial meetings to set up campaigns and goals. Almost immediately we noticed our clicks and calls increase along with turnover.

Texonica vs other vendors we have worked with maintain their dedication, I have noticed with all other vendors that once you have signed up you seem to be left by the wayside until you have a complaint.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

With the previous ads manager we were investing $1,200 per month on Google Ads with a ROAS of 250%. We were stuck there, as each time we were increasing our ads investments, the ROAS was falling to 150%-200%. We hired Texonica in August 2021, and at the end of September, we were investing $7,000 per month, with a 320%, by November we were investing $10,000 with a 300% ROAS.
