BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at a financial institution.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
Two companies are merging, and we’re rebranding, so we hired Tenet Partners to help with the rebranding efforts.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tenet Partners provides us with rebranding services. They’ve done an in-depth discovery phase; since we’re bringing two organizations together, there are a lot of pieces to consider. They’ve taken all our client and member data and customer insight data and put it through their AI system to tell us the core of our organizations combined.
They’ve also done deep-dive interviews with 12 executives from the two firms to find out what they want from the new brand and its attributes. Tenet Partners has also delved into the legacy companies’ corporate values and mission to understand both cultures and bring them together.
The team has reviewed both organizations' marketing literature and websites and held several workshops. First, they held workshops with VP-level employees from both companies to ask questions about the cultures and histories of the legacy companies. They also helped us with workshops where we worked together to identify what the new brand would be. Tenet Partners has developed our logo and created brand guidelines.
What is the team composition?
The core team consists of 5–7 people, including Hampton (CEO & Managing Partner), the creative director, a senior account executive, a teammate in charge of the AI aspect, and another account executive that acts as a project manager. However, they augment that team with other people as we go. For example, they brought in designers when we did the logo development.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
I’ve worked with them many times in the past. Initially, they were referred to me when I was doing a rebrand at a previous organization. The project was huge, and I realized the agency we were working with didn’t have the capabilities to help us with implementation, so I started searching for a new partner, and Tenet Partners came to me through a referral.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
This project started in March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Tenet Partners is the most thorough agency I've ever worked with — they leave no stone unturned. The team produces very high-quality output and is extremely collaborative. Most importantly, they're flexible around meeting our very tight timelines while staying within our budget. They recommend different pieces to make the project work within the budget.
This is the third organization I've brought them onto, and they've never disappointed me. We're getting ready to have more engagements with them. Overall, Tenet Partners is exceptional, and I can't say enough good things about them.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is excellent. We communicate through Zoom and Microsoft Teams most frequently. They've also come on-site a number of times and facilitated workshops.
The team is always on time and provides a weekly status update via call. Additionally, they put together a well-organized written update of where we are, what they need from us, and where they're going.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tenet Partners' strategy and their ability to solve complex problems around branding are outstanding. I've done a few rebranding projects, and each is very different. I can always count on Tenet Partners to be a strategic partner and help me figure out how to bring new brands to life from start to finish.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't have constructive feedback; they do things right.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise you to be very transparent about whatever problems the team needs to solve and provide them with as much information as possible; Tenet Partners is an excellent problem solver. When you sit down to work with them, also be transparent about your budget because they're willing to work with different ones.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of marketing at The Bluetooth SIG. I'm responsible for corporate and brand marketing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
We were looking to refresh our brand.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tenet Partners helped us reimagine and reshape the way we think and talk about The Bluetooth SIG. The only thing off-limits was the name and logo. Our brand platform, including all verbal and visual elements, was on the table.
The team identified cohorts from our stakeholders to ensure their perspectives were included in the process. Tenet Partners conducted one-on-one interviews and group interviews with people we considered focus groups, ensuring they heard and integrated those voices.
What is the team composition?
We worked with three core teammates from Tenet Partners. Natalie, Tenet Partner's project manager, did fantastic work keeping the teams on track. Andrew, Tenet Partners' creative director, helped reimagine and hone in on the visuals. Beth, Tenet Partners' strategy director, helped establish the strategy and verbal platform. Their copywriters and creative team drifted in and out of the project depending on the stage we were in.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
We worked with an agency to find a branding agency partner. They helped us narrow down the choices based on what we were looking to accomplish, our budget, communication and work styles, and other factors to find the best team fit. Tenet Partners stood out from the start.
Once they came back to us with some preliminary thoughts about the problem statement we were grappling with, the choice was obvious. They presented the strongest and most aligned thinking and we loved the process they used to get there.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $200,000 and $900,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together on the brand refresh from November 2023 to February 2025.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We saw a 12x increase in engagement across social channels during the launch period. The experience was so rewarding and positive that we signed up for additional work with them to help us flesh out other challenges in the brand area. We're still working with them, and if we ever need to solve additional challenges with our brand, Tenet Partners will be our first choice.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
Tenet Partners delivered the work on time and on budget. We used Asana for project management and communicated through emails and Zoom. And Natalie is a wizard!
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tenet Partners was terrific at listening to our nuanced and unique needs. They challenged us on our assumptions and delivered results that exceeded our expectations. On top of that, every project will have its twists and turns, and they were incredibly adaptable and resourceful in helping us navigate them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It was the most rewarding, stress-free, and successful partnership with an agency. I don't have any constructive feedback for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Tenet Partners is not an agency you need to be guarded with. They are a team you want fully in the loop and fully in the nest. The more openly and directly you engage with them, the better the outcomes. Their team thrives on transparency and collaboration, and they consistently deliver work that not only meets expectations but often exceeds them. If you’re willing to bring them into the heart of your process, they’ll bring insight, creativity, and momentum that you can't get elsewhere and will move your brand forward.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of marketing operations and events at Bluetooth SIG, a trade association for Bluetooth wireless technology. We help facilitate the development specifications, monitor the qualification process, ensure all products meet certain criteria, and promote the Bluetooth brand.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
Bluetooth had a new capability, and we were struggling to position both brands. We were looking for a refresh to show that Bluetooth was much more than just audio. We wanted a brand that represented that.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with a brand refresh, and Tenet Partners worked with us to determine how to refresh our overall visual and verbal identity. As we continued working with them, we added a few other things. Tenet Partners has helped us with our website overhaul, updating it from a design perspective using Figma. We’re working with them on brand architecture, including how we structure and name different features and specifications as they get developed under the Bluetooth umbrella.
After that, we’ll look at our website from an information architecture perspective. We’ll see how things and the content are organized on our site. We’ve done a large amount of research. We’ve provided some names, and they’ve conducted many interviews with various people inside and outside our company. The team has gathered all that feedback and put together a presentation with some options.
From there, we’ve done a bunch of reiterations. We went through various iterations once we had that initial line in the sand. We’ve spent much time defining our mission, vision, values, and what they look like. Then, we’ve moved on to the visual perspective. Tenet Partners has conducted a couple of training sessions with our executive team to ensure everybody is on the same page.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with three main teammates, including our account manager Natalie, a senior partner for research and strategy, and a senior partner creative director. We’ve also worked with a copywriter and a couple of web designers.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
We used an agency to help us find Tenet Partners. We immediately connected with their team. Their ideas were thoughtful and most in line with understanding how unique our company is. Tenet Partners understood that part of our business, which showed in their presentation.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $250,000–$500,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Tenet Partners' work meets our expectations. We rolled out the brand in March 2025 and hosted a major event. We’ve been able to brand that event with our new image and received positive feedback overall. The feedback from our members has been super positive, mentioning that our new color palette has made our brand look more exciting and invigorating.
Our organization has over 40,000 member companies, and we have the technology, which is all part of the Bluetooth brand. Working with Tenet Partners has helped us create our brand from a visual and verbal perspective.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
Natalie has been phenomenal to work with. The team is very communicative and keeps us updated. Their flexibility is fantastic. We’re a small team, so we sometimes take longer or need more people’s input. Tenet Partners has always been super patient with us. We mainly communicate through emails and phone calls. We have weekly syncs on Microsoft Teams, which have been beneficial and helpful. We’ve had a couple of face-to-face meetings and working sessions, too.
Another unique situation was that our CEO retired halfway through the project. We got a new CEO, and Tenet Partners was phenomenal at pausing and recognizing that some directions would change with a different leader in place. The team was great at getting our new CEO up to speed and getting his input so we could move forward.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re great at working with our type of company. Tenet Partners understands our needs, and they’ve been great to work with.
I also like that Tenet Partners accepts our feedback, understands it, and incorporates it. I appreciate that because we’re a unique organization. If the team doesn’t get it right the first time, they will continue reiterating to get it to a satisfactory place.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the chief advancement officer at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, a scientific research organization. We’re part of the Smithsonian Institution, and we work around the world on coastal ecosystems, understanding and protecting them.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
We hired them to do a brand audit for us.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tenet Partners has done a brand analysis for us. They’ve looked at our website, materials, and everything we’re doing. They’ve also picked similar organizations to benchmark against. The team has also given us suggestions for what we can do going forward. We’ve engaged them to help us with our visual identity and messaging, which is what we’re working on now.
Initially, Tenet Partners asked us who we thought our peers were, and we sent them everything they wanted from us. They also did their own research and added a few other peers that they discovered on their own. During the brand audit, they broke the benchmarks down by research, fundraising, and impact. They also showed us examples of organizations that they thought were doing really well in those different areas.
Currently, Tenet Partners is working on our color schemes, logo, brand guidelines, and the look and feel of our website. We’re not redoing the whole website, but they’re changing its look, feel, and organization.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with four main teammates from Tenet Partners, including Hampton, who oversees the whole project; Andrew, who does the messaging; Mary, who does the design work; and Laura, who has worked on the website. Everyone has a role, and we know exactly who we need to talk to for what issue.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
Hampton works as a volunteer on our board, helping us out. Initially, we found him through a contact who recommended him.
What is the status of this engagement?
We did the brand audit in the fall of 2023. We had some problems because the Smithsonian was slow in contracting. It took almost a year to get the contract ratified for the actual rebranding. Thus, we started working with Tenet Partners in August 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The brand audit has gotten us to where we need to be. Their work has given us a roadmap for what we need to do branding and messaging-wise. We haven’t debuted all of this work yet, but the team has far exceeded our expectations.
One of the biggest improvements has been changing how we talk about ourselves, and our logo refresh has also been huge. We want to implement our new branding around our anniversary, so we don’t have any metrics yet. Anecdotally, we feel like we’re talking about ourselves in a way that people are understanding.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
Tenet Partners has been good about keeping the trains on time. They’ve been very persistent about getting feedback so we can keep everything moving. We communicate through email, Zoom, Google Meet, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams. AI takes the notes at the meetings, and they’re proofed and sent around.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve been impressed with how easy the process has been. Before starting this process, their team did a lot of interviews with staff as prep work. Out of the gate, we’ve been impressed. There have been very few edits, and we’ve been shocked at how well it has gone.
Moreover, everyone on their team works very well together. They do their work seamlessly and quickly, and their patience is infinite — they're all amazing!
Are there any areas they could improve?
There's nothing they could improve on. I’ve worked with many firms, and this has been the best experience I’ve ever had with one.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be a nice person and be competent.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of author marketing and business development at the American Psychological Association (APA). We’re a nonprofit publisher, and I lead a team that promotes our 90 journals to readers, scholars, potential authors, and reviewers. We also work with our publishing partners and editors.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
We needed help communicating more effectively the value we bring as a nonprofit scholarly publisher to our constituents, such as authors, reviewers, editors, and the scholarly community at large. We had a lot of messaging, resources, and information, but there was a general feeling that it wasn’t quite landing. We also had an ongoing impression that we weren’t doing enough in open science, equity, diversity, and inclusion. We had a disconnect about us as a nonprofit publisher.
As a result, we needed someone from the outside to thoughtfully look at us, talk with our constituents, and help us revise our messaging to make it more accessible and understandable to our partners.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tenet Partners provided messaging services. We called the project “Communicating the Value of Scholarly Society Publishing.” We shared all of our existing resources, such as handouts and reports. They also met with internal and external focus groups to talk through what we perceived as our value and what they perceived as our value.
Then, Tenet Partners came up with suggested language. They created a potential campaign that we could build on. They mostly created the copy, the value proposition, and recommendations on how we could share it with key audiences.
What is the team composition?
We worked with three teammates from Tenet Partners: Beth, Laura, and Natalie, who was our account manager and who we worked with the most.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
We looked at several consulting groups and didn’t care about their size. We looked for a consulting group with experience working with scholarly organizations on revising their messaging. We needed someone with exposure to other scholarly societies in the nonprofit and publishing world. We looked at 3–4 potential candidates and selected Tenet Partners.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $90,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2023, and the project ended in July 2024.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve implemented Tenet Partners' suggested wording and revised our approach to our conferences, receiving very positive responses. We’re using their recommendations to build out a champion engagement program this fall.
The goal is for the messaging we created with Tenet Partners to be ingested by the right audience and then taken by them. The vision for this project is to build a group of champions and key influencers in the field who would speak on our behalf. We’re using the messaging to engage the key influencers we’ve identified as potential champions. Next spring, we'll consider engaging Tenet Partners to help us if we need anything else.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
Tenet Partners’ project management was excellent, and we had a good experience with them. We communicated mostly via Zoom, sometimes Microsoft Teams, and email via Microsoft Outlook.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Natalie was amazing at keeping all of the logistics in line. There was a lot of back and forth about interviews, feedback, and meetings. She was superb at keeping all of that in check and up to date. Laura and Beth were great at presenting their recommendations.
Laura, in particular, was doing most of the presenting. I appreciated the way their recommendations were presented. When we had questions, concerns, or reservations, her responses were very thoughtful. I liked how she often pushed back on some misconceptions we potentially had based on what she heard from our audiences. That thoughtful pushback and feedback were very helpful in formulating the end product.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tenet Partners was very responsive, and I appreciated how thoughtful their recommendations were. They understood where we were coming from, our messaging, and our audiences. I was impressed with how thoughtful and well-reasoned their recommended language was. When something was unclear to us or we questioned something, they had a convincing reason for their recommended wording. As we saw in our campaigns, it resonated with the audiences better than what we had before.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any areas I would want them to do differently. There were some delays in the project, but they were completely on our side. Tenet Partners did a great job keeping us moving even when we didn’t want to.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Take advantage of all of the suggested meetings. This is a very thoughtful and intelligent group. Trust them and provide as much information as you can. They’re great at internalizing and coming up with excellent guidance. Take full advantage of their time and the allotted meetings. Include as many of your constituents as possible, and give yourself time to truly discuss their recommendations with them because they have great insight and advice.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior director of corporate brand for a leading medtech business focusing on structural heart disease and critical care monitoring.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
Our goal was to build a cohesive brand. At the time, if people looked at our existing brand, people weren't able to tell that all our communications and messages were coming from a single company.
Our idea was to build a strategy and a visual architecture to allow all of our wonderful messages to be attributed back to our company so that we could build brand recognition. Therefore, we engaged Tenet Partners to do a full rebranding of our company, focusing on our strategy and visual execution.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tenet Partners has helped us develop a brand strategy with the idea that we have multiple businesses and go out to engage with a wide variety of customers. Initially, they conducted research on our existing state, hosted strategic discussions, and gained alignment with our executive leadership.
Then, Tenet Partners went into testing and design to create what would ultimately be our visual system, tone of voice, brand pillars, and messaging. After that, the team followed through with training and implementation. Since then, we've kept them as our agency of record to help us evolve the brand incrementally.
For the initial project, Tenet Partners helped us design a whole set of brand standards for our company. Since then, we've also done iterations to those brand standards to evolve them, which has required strategic and graphic design work. The only project we haven't done comprehensively is to redo our brand research project. Everything else has been consistently maintained.
We've continued to engage with Tenet Partners for creative work, design work, advertising strategy, and voice. We've been able to produce a handful of assets. We don't use to advertise our company; we advertise our products. Still, anything that we use to position our company comes from Tenet Partners.
What is the team composition?
We've had the fortune to work consistently with the main principals on this project, including Beth (Senior Partner of Research & Strategy) and David (Design Partner) as our creative partner. We've also worked with an account manager who has kept us on track with the budgeting and scoping throughout different iterations. Still, for the most part, we've worked closely with Beth and David on both the strategic and creative work we've done since the engagement started.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
We found them through an internal referral. Tenet Partners had been working on campaign content creation with one of our business unit brand partners. When this project arose for us to redo our brand work at a corporate level, they were recommended to participate in the bid and won it.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our relationship with Tenet Partners around June 2015, and it's ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Metrics for this project don't come through my team or the engagement with Tenet Partners; metrics come from our product marketing team, which is at a different level. Our product marketing team aligns their work to the brand standards that have been designed by Tenet Partners. Their focus is messaging adoption and ROI. Therefore, we typically don't measure the results of our brand system itself because they're always tied to another marketing deliverable.
That said, we recently concluded a brand audit. Qualitatively, we've found that Tenet Partners has helped us build a very cohesive brand system that helps maintain our voice. We've been able to see evidence that the brand architecture that we have holds together and meets our brand strategy successfully.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
All the projects on which we've engaged Tenet Partners have been well-planned and well-scoped, so they've delivered on time and on budget. Typically, we manage our communication with them through phone calls and Microsoft Teams meetings in order to review visuals. The primary communication tool within our company is Microsoft Teams.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
I would like to give a shout-out to Beth and David. Both of them are amazing and wonderful.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What Tenet Partners does best is to form a true partnership with their clients. I've never felt that this is a sales-based relationship. Instead, they're invested in our company, and we're invested back in them in order to build something stronger. Moreover, they've been adaptive and ready to evolve with us. Their team is very good at listening and represents what a true partner is.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We've perceived Tenet Partners to be a little bit less innovative, but in fairness, we're not asking them to innovate for us. Whenever we have projects where we're looking to stretch while staying true to our brand, Tenet Partners can stay a little too close to a defined messaging set, even when we're trying to stretch the thought.
However, this is caused because they're so anchored in helping us establish who we are at the central core of our brand, and we don't always ask them to go beyond, innovate, be creative, and design well outside what we've already asked them to build as our brand architecture.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Tenet Partners is very successful at being a long-term partner. If you're looking to build a lasting relationship, go with them; that's where their strength lies. Beth and David have so much to offer in thinking about how the landscape would change that you wouldn't get the full benefit of working with them if you don't have a long-term project for them in order to see how their vision will ultimately come together and play out.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm a global brand manager in the transcatheter heart valve business at a company that manufactures medical devices.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Tenet Partners?
We required branding and packaging design services. We wanted to evolve the packaging design for a new product while keeping a familiar feeling and staying within our branding guidelines. We wanted the team to push the envelope of our brand standards and design fresh and new packaging.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We follow a strict project process, which we call context briefings. We have internal briefing sessions to ensure we don't waste the agency's time and that our internal stakeholders are aligned. Then, we have a briefing session with Tenet Partners. We don't provide written briefings because we think providing a session where all teammates involved in the project can ask questions after the brief is more effective.
Tenet Partners then sent a scope of work, and we made amendments to it. Once the purchase order was created in our system, we started to work.
What is the team composition?
We work with an account manager, a teammate from the creative team, and a strategic professional depending on the product.
How did you come to work with Tenet Partners?
When I started working at my company, our corporate team had already worked with Tenet Partners, which was the main agency that helped define our company's brand standards and branding guidelines. We selected the team because of their strategic approach to naming and branding.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working at my company in August 2021 and engaged in a different project with Tenet Partners. Our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This particular project wasn't campaign-focused or meant to drive a specific result. However, our senior leadership team is delighted with Tenet Partners' branding and naming efforts, which is a success for me. We hear great feedback from hospital representatives we work with on how easily identifiable our product is due to the new packaging designed by Tenet Partners. They also mentioned our product stands out from the rest of our competitors.
How did Tenet Partners perform from a project management standpoint?
Tenet Partners delivers work on time and communicates well with us, which is one of the reasons we've worked with the team for so long. Good communication isn't as common in the agency world as I would like it to be, and Tenet Partners is honest in communicating where they are and what they can still fit into the project when we have a change in the scope.
Tenet Partners is upfront and works collaboratively, always trying to help us out, but they also draw the line when we ask for something outside of scope, which is really helpful for me. I love their communication style because they're clear and direct, and I never have to guess things. We communicate via phone calls and emails for the most part.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tenet Partners has an incredible way of working together because they've kept the same team members for a long time. Most of the agencies I had previously worked with had a lot of turnover, which is common in creative agencies. However, Tenet Partners has kept the same team for a long time and works very well together.
I haven't noticed communication issues within their team, and it seemed they were always on the same page and clicked well. We receive a consistent service style and effort level from every teammate.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Tenet Partners is a customer-focused company, and I almost wish the team would push back on us more from a design perspective. The team knows we're constrained by our branding standards and tries to facilitate our goals.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I suggest having a defined idea of what success means for your project — this is helpful when working with any agency. I recommend ensuring your team is aligned on the project's success metrics when you kick off the engagement with Tenet Partners.
