We requested rust developers with a certain level of experience, Requested that Yuliana, the recruiter from Sunvery upload all candidates to our internal system and also provide an update weekly on candidates.

Candidates were submitted internally, interviewed by HR and then Engineering then a technical interview was conducted and an offer if the candidate was successful.

If proceed, we scheudle the interview. If pass, we share our feedback as to why and based on the feedback, Sunvary shifts their focus to find more qualified candidates.

Sunvery’s sales team reached out to us at the moment when we were thinking about expanding the team in Europe. They demonstrated a good knowledge of the Ukrainian market as well as support in trying to understand our business needs.

At first, we had a meeting with the sales person and CEO of Sunvery. During that call, we discussed in general what Sling is looking for as a company and how it can be supported. Then we would have calls about specific openings with the assigned recruiters to be able to find the best fit for each vacancy. We would also have additional calls with the hiring managers during the recruitment process to see if presented candidates meet our expectations and what could be improved.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We have sent 2 job offers and both of them were accepted. That was all we needed for a given period of time. We also have a pipeline of quality candidates for a third role.

We have had calls to discuss the scope of work as well as sync up calls when needed. For the rest of the time, we have used email communication. Sunvery’s team was also willing to add other tools for our convenience.
