I am an Internal Sales Executive at the company (UK Slate Ltd). We are natural stone importers and distributors, based on Flookburgh, South Cumbria. The company has 7 members of staff.

What were your goals for this project?

We want to be highly ranked in the Google rankings in order to bring more traffic to our website, and therefore increase the amount of potential customers looking at our products/ making enquiries.

How did you select this vendor?

We wanted to use a local based company so that meeting were convenient.

They are continually assessing our list of keywords, and how Google ranks our pages based on these. SQ Digital amend title pages, page content, and write blog posts for us in order to make our website more attractive to Google. They also make sure the website design and flow is user friendly to make it easier for potential customers to find information and make contact with ourselves if needed.

What was the team composition?

We make the majority of our contact through our account manager, but sometimes more specialist members of staff regarding particular queries.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Generally we rank very highly on our core keywords. If you study the history of our keyword rankings, there is a generic upwards trend. Sometimes different words rise and fall more dramatically depending on that months focus.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication is always friendly and prompt.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The employees are generally very knowledgeable in their field, and explain things in simple terms.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We had one particular project which didn't work out as they were not able to achieve our goal. This was despite numerous meetings and discussions about what we required. More thorough research into what was involved by them was required before SQ Digital attempted to take the project on.
