The main product consists of two main parts: a Backend API written in GoLang and a Frontend Client App built on React JS, which communicates with the API using GraphQL. The administrative part is developed using Ruby on Rails + Avo. Specialists were involved in the development of the Backend API as well as the administrative part of the product, including writing automated unit and integration tests.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• An administrative part of the product was created from scratch using RoR + Avo, which includes displaying a lot of statistical data on customer usage of the product and managing content for certain sections of the product. The work of specialists on the Backend API is ongoing in collaboration with an in-house team of developers. The benefit is additional resources in developing new rules for new customers and making changes to existing ones.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've been working with SoloWay on other development projects before and had positive experience. Key factors were: reliability of the team, flexibility and expertise.

SoloWay visited our physical space where content moderators work to feel the problems they had and talk to the end users. Then SoloWay analysts analyzed data on app usage and set tracking of needed events to identify problems: speed, stability etc. After deciding on the team needed for the project SoloWay identified the project scope and set a plan of its realization.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Upgrading our mobile apps for content moderators allowed us to increase speed of content moderation and decrease number of errors moderators made.

The workflow was very effective. We coordinated all Qs on time and delivered as planned.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive feature of SoloWay is that they are reliable and at the same time flexible regarding the project and team scope which can change during the realization of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If SoloWay would have had all multi-functional expertise needed for improving our apps, we would outsource them more tasks like customer development and data analysis.
