I’m the head of brand growth and customer acquisition for Volo Sports. We’re a national platform that organizes adult social sports leagues, fitness activities, and community events. We also support free youth sports programs through our nonprofit foundation.

What challenge were you trying to address with Socium Media?

We needed help restructuring our online search and social ads. We also needed help with our data analytics and tracking to ensure our online campaigns were set up for success through varying sales cycles.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Socium Media oversees our Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads, and Pinterest Ads. Through this, they’ve executed all of our paid digital campaigns.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our ROAS and CPA have hit monthly and yearly targets. Our new customers are flat year-over-year, but that’s due to factors outside of Socium Media’s control. Overall, our efficiency in paid digital has improved. Our ROAS has gone up by $0.75, and our CPA has gone down by about $4.

How did Socium Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Socium Media delivers on time and is very communicative. We communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attention to detail, reporting, and timeliness are impressive.

Socium Media manages our paid media on Meta, Google, and other platforms as needed. The team also handles our analytics, including MMM and incrementality testing. In addition, Socium Media manages our SEO strategy, implementation, and content creation. The team has also managed our ads' creative development in the past, working within templates we've provided.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Socium Media has improved our MER and grown our net sales. The team has also improved our organic search presence with high-value keywords. In addition, our CAC and CTR (Meta) have improved.

Socium Media always delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Socium Media is an excellent proactive communicator. The team understands our business and strategy deeply, as well as the landscape of paid media and our competitors. Socium Media is a trusted partner, and it feels like we're mutually accountable for success. The team is very responsive to feedback (even when it's critical) and works hard to correct any issues. Overall, their work is high-quality and data-driven.

I’m the head of marketing at Greenwich Medical Spa. We provide non-surgical body contouring, facial aesthetics, injectables, laser hair removal, and skin rejuvenation treatments across seven locations, specializing in advanced, science-based cosmetic procedures.

What challenge were you trying to address with SociuMedia?

We had worked with other SEO agencies in the past, but they never truly understood our industry or our markets. Organic traffic was starting to decline, and we worried that it was the lack of localized knowledge.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SociuMedia has become our SEO agency with a focus on getting our treatments and locations hyper-localized. One of the first projects was building out website content for each of our store locations to have local treatment pages for all of our treatments.

In addition to this, they handle all backend SEO, from meta and alt tag updates to cleaning up broken links and helping with blog content. They have been such great partners; they now handle our web health and manage website updates as well.

How did you come to work with SociuMedia?

I met Anthony (CEO) from SociuMedia at an EOS networking event, and we started chatting about work and what I do for Greenwich Medical Spa. I found that he had a wealth of SEO knowledge, and our conversation organically turned to localized strategy and what had worked well for some of their other clients. It was enough to set up an exploratory discussion about working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen organic SEO improve monthly. We’re ranking for more keywords, and organic traffic to our site has improved. Organic leads have increased year-over-year (YOY), which is the main metric we track from an SEO standpoint because most of our SEO efforts are in an attempt to find new patients.

Web revenue has increased YOY, and, for the most part, user engagement and sessions have shown positive results when looking at monthly YOY metrics.

How did SociuMedia perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. It’s very communicative, and I’m able to talk daily with our project manager via Slack and our Monday.com board. We also have monthly recap calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication, ease of getting a hold of them, and their follow-through are impressive. They meet deadlines and get things done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

In general, SociuMedia is extremely responsive and helpful. If I can add anything, they also seem to be keeping their pulse on the effects of AI and how search behavior is changing due to ChatGPT and other AI tools.

Given the line of work we’re in, being in a digital industry, things move rather quickly and it was a huge relief that Socium Media was right by our sides operating as fast as we were attempting to run. They were incredibly curious and eager to deliver results, it felt like we had a true partner.
