I hired Social Hustle expecting a strategic, high-level marketing partnership—but what I received was a deeply unprofessional and costly experience that harmed my business and wasted my time.

First, they continuously mismanaged our ad campaigns—running ads to the wrong URLs, not properly tracking conversions, and making careless mistakes that cost me tens of thousands of dollars in ad spend. Despite spending over $15,000, there was little to no return on investment, and no solid explanation for why the campaigns failed to perform.

Instead of owning these mistakes, they offloaded tasks that were clearly outlined in our agreement onto my internal team—putting an additional burden on us for responsibilities they were paid to handle. This showed a complete lack of accountability and integrity.

Even more alarming, my TikTok ads account was banned under their management. I’ve never had that happen before, and their response was dismissive and vague. They left the account in limbo with no recovery plan or transparency, and when I expressed concern, their tone turned defensive and unprofessional.

Communication throughout was inconsistent, dismissive, and at times, disrespectful. When I raised these concerns, instead of resolving the issue or offering a solution, they shut down all meaningful dialogue.

This was not just a disappointing experience—it was a damaging one. I would not recommend Social Hustle to any serious business owner looking for reliable, competent marketing support. Protect your investment and partner with a team that values your brand as much as you do.

Rebranded our company ecommerce store on Shopify to have them redevelop an optimized website expertly customers and in turn created another website to separate our course offerings and overhauled both websites to increase conversions. Once websites are completed then launching managed ads on social media and Google.

Most impressive was everyone's personal attention to detail in understanding our brand and the vision and potential for scaling. We felt on our team that with prior other marketing teams we worked with that this was the first organized and responsive team that felt personally invested in our projects and got us excited about the growth potential of our company and the impact we can have.
We know they have much larger projects than ours to work on, but we never once felt that we were put on the back burner. In fact, we feel that we're treated as their top priority.

I'm pretty analytical and know areas for improvement. I can't think of anything that comes to mind as we always felt like we received the responses we needed within acceptable timeframes and have been more than happy with the results so far and excited to have them as a long term partner in our growth.

Utilizing ROAS, conversion rate, CPA, CPC, along with several other metrics to best drive additional revenue. We saw year over year growth in both our ecomm business, as well as our corporate sales business using the tools Social Hustle put in place to drive revenue.

During my time working with Social Hustle, I came into this role with no marketing experience. Chris and his team were very patient, and able to explain things in a way that was very easily digestible. This helped me quickly grasp a basic knowledge of key deliverables so we could slcontinue to grow this business. Their patience and expertise is all done in a way that feels like we're their most important client, while we were in fact one of their smallest.

We are a VERY seasonal business, on a very limited budget. At times it felt like there was an opportunity to better understand the daily budgeting of a small budget to try and match a daily sales goal, versus a blanket daily budget.

I’m a planning analyst in charge of data analytics and planning at a baked goods company. We sell gift-packaged cookies for corporate and personal events and general consumers.

What challenges were you trying to address with Social Hustle?

We needed help with our digital marketing because our engagement with our previous provider wasn’t working out.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Social Hustle handles all of our digital marketing. Our working relationship with Social Hustle’s team has evolved from just providing TikTok consultancy to managing a lot of our Google Analytics and paid and non-paid searches. In addition, they handle our Meta and TikTok marketing for us.

What was the team composition? 

We work with 4–5 members of Social Hustle, including Chris (CEO), with whom we work closely on a daily basis. In addition, there’s Joni (Omni Channel Project Manager), Alex (Google Ads Manager), and Kirsten (Director of Meta).

How did you come to work with Social Hustle?

Social Hustle was already working with us when I took my current position. My former boss merged us into working with them not just for TikTok but also with our general digital marketing because they were giving much better results than our previous provider. We ended our relationship with that prior company, and Social Hustle took over the rest of our digital marketing channels.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent around $350,000 with them in the last year for our ad spend.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working in January 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen exponential growth year over year in our digital marketing since we started working with Social Hustle. The level of engagement and expertise they've been offering has been exponentially better than what we had received in the past from other providers. Social Hustle is continuously providing us with great service.

Metrics-wise, we're currently spending 2% less for Google than we did last year, with a return of ad-spend revenue of 169% positive.

How did Social Hustle perform from a project management standpoint?

Social Hustle is very clear with what they're spending the money on on a daily basis. In addition, we have weekly call meetings with the whole team they've assigned to us to review our weekly budget. The team has also been understanding and open to working with the small, limited budget we have for marketing, as we are a small company. Additionally, Social Hustle is communicative in letting us know what ROAS we can expect in case we can free up and allocate a little bit more of our budget.

Social Hustle's team is always on time, hasn't missed anything, and is excellent at handing off data and reporting to team members who cover the different channels of digital spending for us. Moreover, Chris is working one-on-one with me on analyzing sales and data and looking at our budget and daily expenditure as I'm stepping up and filling the void that my former boss left in this project.

Overall, Social Hustle's team is very knowledgeable in what they're working with, the specific platforms they handle for us, and managing our account daily to ensure that we're getting an expected return on our ad spend, which is driving sales for us.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? 

Chris has been fantastic. His level of knowledge is very in-depth, and he's very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're a very seasonal company because we do 70% of our business in the holidays, and Social Hustle has shown great flexibility in that by transitioning our ad spend daily to ensure that we're maximizing our return on both Facebook and Google and getting a daily return that hits the goals we set. Social Hustle has been receptive, responsive, and understanding to the fact that the bulk of our business is in those three months, making them a big part of our success during that time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I currently don't see any glaring gaps in Social Hustle's performance. They've been a great partner for us, and I don't see anything they can improve on.

Be open with your expectations and honest if you have constraints or other limitations, like having a limited ad spend. Social Hustle's team is great at maximizing every dollar, so be clear and open yourself to allow their expertise, knowledge, and advice to come in.
