Unfortunately, our experience with ShopDev did not meet our expectations in terms of project management. The project was not delivered on time, within budget, or to the expected level of quality. Communication with their team was often difficult and their responses were not always timely or satisfactory. We also found that their team was not properly equipped to meet our needs and lacked the necessary expertise to deliver the project as promised.
In addition, we were disappointed with their management of the project and their lack of concern for employee satisfaction. We noticed that their employees were often unsatisfied and that they had broken promises with their team members, which made it difficult for us to work with them effectively. As a result, we would not recommend their project management services to other businesses.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Given the issues we experienced with ShopDev, we did not find any particularly impressive or unique aspects of the company. While they offered a cheaper rate, this came at a cost to the quality of their services and their treatment of employees. We were disappointed to find that their team was not properly compensated for their work, and that the company kept a major portion of the payment for themselves.
This raised concerns for us about their ethics and integrity as a business. Overall, we found that ShopDev did not meet our expectations and would not recommend their services to other businesses. We had been to most of the well known names in the industry, and had one bad experience after the other. So trust levels were low. The CEO of an e-commerce giant had very high praise for Mr. Ali Aziz, which is why I went to him initially.
Later, turned out he was very close to some of my family members, who too only had words of praise for him. I did some research on their past projects, and spent some time with the team to finally make up my mind. Wasn't hard to decide that I was going to go for Shopistan.

Time will tell. Our website just launched. We continue to work with them daily post client feedback. So far so good. Long way to go to achieve the larger than life ambitions that we have.

It’s a dynamic platform that provides integrations for all the leading platforms.
What was the team composition?
We initially interfaced with a project manager who managed a team. There were quite a few working on the platform at any given time, but we eventually worked primarily worked with two developers and a QA analyst.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We’re now have a much leaner team because the platform has automated many of our administrative processes. While we don’t have hard numbers at hand, but it has completely revamped our product and accounted for major company growth.

They had a very streamlined approach to delivering such project. Their methods of communication and use of project management tools, like JIRA, ensured that everything worked smoothly. We’ve taken note of their communication processes and successfully implemented them in our own team, which was a major takeaway.
