I'm the founder of SpotlightVendor, a compliance-driven vendor sourcing and management platform tailored for the senior living facility space. Our platform connects facility managers with verified service providers through curated directories, RFP tools, and automated vetting workflows.

• A vendor directory with advanced search and filtering by service category, compliance status, and location.
• Compliance document upload and tracking, including W9, COI/general liability insurance, and workers’ compensation, with automated reminders for expiring documents.
• A ‘Vet a Vendor’ workflow that allows facility managers to invite outside vendors to join the platform and complete onboarding.
• An RFP management tool enabling facility managers to post opportunities and vendors to submit proposals, with tiered notification access based on subscription level.
• Subscription plan tiers (basic and premium) with dynamic feature access tied to each plan.
• A review and rating system where facility managers can leave feedback on vendors.
• Notifications and reminders for compliance deadlines, new RFPs, and onboarding steps.
• Responsive design ensuring accessibility across devices.
• Admin controls to manage user roles, vendor verification, and platform content.

While we haven’t officially launched the platform yet, we’ve already received very positive feedback from key stakeholders and industry professionals who have previewed the app. They’ve praised the intuitive design, streamlined workflows, and the platform’s clear focus on compliance and vendor management tailored to senior living facilities. This early validation gives us strong confidence that the solution will meet market needs and deliver real value once live.

The completed website not only looks amazing, but we are getting more web traffic than ever.

From the beginning to the end of the project, the Scaling Process team communicated clearly and efficiently with me. We set up a Slack channel that handled most of the communication, but we also communicated through Figma comments, Zoom meetings, and project management software as necessary. And throughout the process, the Scaling Process team was very easy to reach and they responded quickly to all questions that I had.

All deliverables were completed on time and in budget.

To be fair, some of the timing gaps were probably more on my end — being a one-woman show means I wasn’t always as fast on feedback or decisions as I wanted to be. That said, there were a few points where having a bit more visibility into a visual roadmap or next steps would have helped me stay more in sync and reduce the back-and-forth.

But truly — the team was always understanding, flexible, and ready with thoughtful solutions. I never felt judged for moving at a different pace, and I always felt supported. As we grow, I’m excited to lean even more into planning and momentum together.
