We wanted to build awareness of our membership service to Business School leaders and teaching faculty around the world, We wanted a video to capture in a snapshot and in easily, digestible and engaging content a summary of what we do to suit an international audience.

We compared Savvy Animation with 5 other companies and ruled this out by costs, style and expertise. Savvy Animations 2D video example that they had sent with the proposals inspired the team and it was exactly what we was looking for in comparison to the other companies.

We had started with the introductory meetings. I had designed a video brief and the script and the rest was left to Savvy Animation. We worked through the project step by step and we manage to get all the seniors team input involved and approved. They had also created us a social media teaser from this 2D geometric style video, which is being put to good use.

I worked very closely with MK, and our senior team for input and feedback, this made communications smooth and direct.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At the moment we have just launched a digital campaign for this video using it in our digital advertising especially over social media, we have seen a lot more traffic from social and we had also seen in increase in lead generations from last month.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Really good! Considering at times, we took longer than usual in situations of opinions, feedback and approval - but nevertheless they were fast, efficient, and got work done!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Turnover time, great customer service and project management and delivered everything we asked for.

Just keep it up!

I shared what should be the outcome of the video. I received the first scripts that were to be honest a nightmare and I had the feeling that they were translated with google translate. I wrote the script by my own. All the rest went pretty nice. We worked on the Storyboard together and here the content was super good. The outcome of the video is really really good and I quite like it.

The way at the beginning was not so good, but after the script was done, the rest was really good.

I worked with Herman as a project manager. He did a great job and was very quick in responding. The answers were always very quick in time and he was super friendly.

A kick-off meeting was followed by the submission of the script written by me. Savvy Animations then designed the entire video, and submitted it for our review. After 2 review sessions, the video was finalized without an issue, and Savvy Animations provided over a dozen professional voiceover options for the narrative as well.

The resulting video is now on our website, and we've used it as part of investor pitches and at a recent major trade show as well.

My role at Datarella is CPO, I'm in charge of the products that leave our shelf.

We needed an animated video for one of our products, MOBIX.

Savvy Animations approached us by email at the right time. They made a trustworthy impression and had a track record we liked.

Objective was to create a 1:30 min video that shows the key aspects of MOBIX. We described by email what we needed to the first contact person who helped us find a style for the video. After assignment, we got an invoice for a down-payment.

We then got a project manager assigned who guided us through the production process by email over the next days. Settle on the script vie email and Google Docs, on the overall style (done via email), go through & revise the visual storyboard (PDF, email), choose a speaker (audio files, email), revise first version of the video (video format, download, email).

We were in contact with two people: a sales representative and a project manager.

Within the first 3 days of video release on Youtube, we got 90 views. Given that this is a fresh project and only a concept we think it's a success so far.

Timelines were met, communication style was friendly and to the point. Also, response was always in time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked the straight forward way of communication and the fast response. We never felt any insecurity about our choice to worth with SAVVY due to this last point. They delivered what we expected.

Since all went really well this is hard to say. Maybe the style of the graphics could have been tweaked more to fit with our use case - but given the price and timeframe we felt this was a fair deal.

What challenge were you trying to address with Savvy Animations LLC?

Our industry wasn’t well understood by B2B and B2C clients. That said, it’s difficult for people to comprehend something through pictures or articles; our competitors are using videos, and they’re getting positive results. As such, we also wanted to produce a video that described our process for us to get more leads. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Savvy Animations produced a 12-minute explainer video for our social media campaigns. After discussing our business model with their team, their copywriters wrote the script and storyboards. They also made custom graphics and animations showcasing our industry. Lastly, their team did the voiceovers, sound effects, and final edits.

I worked with their CEO and a project manager. The project manager took care of everything from beginning to end.

One of my colleagues searched for video producers on LinkedIn and found them there. They had done a couple of videos for other companies, and we liked their portfolio.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from October 2020-January 2021. We’re planning to produce a new video, and we’ll be rehiring Savvy Animations in the future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Working with Savvy Animations was a really great experience. They provided everything we needed; the quality of their work was amazing. The video led to positive results, and we started getting more B2C clients. Additionally, our website traffic increased, with most of them coming from Facebook and Instagram. Lastly, our conversion rate improved — currently, we convert 70 out of 100 leads. 

How did Savvy Animations LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Savvy Animations was excellent at project management — everything was well-coordinated. We only communicated with the project manager, who was always on time. Whenever we asked for any script, voiceover, or music changes, they had it finished in less than an hour. We communicated via email, and it was very easy to talk with their team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Savvy Animations was committed to the deadline they promised. They worked expeditiously and would even deliver ahead of time. Additionally, the quality of their work was absolutely amazing.

I can’t think of any. We’re delighted with their service.

I work for ImmutableSoft, a nonprofit blockchain company that created a decentralized application store.

What challenge were you trying to address with Savvy Animations LLC?

We have a relatively high technical product that’s difficult to communicate to people quickly, so we thought a video would be a good way to get our information out.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We agreed to produce a 30-second introductory movie in black and white. I told them the general idea of what I wanted, and they submitted a script that we went back and forth with. I’m not sure of the process, but at some point, I chose between 3–4 different voice actors. The one I chose then did the voiceover which Savvy Animations combined with the video. Once I was happy with everything, we finalized the video. For the documentation of the project, I believe they had a general template that I filled out with the technical information of our product.

What is the team composition?

I worked with about three different people. One helped with the copy, one helped with the voiceover, and one created the video. My main point of contact was MK (Co-Founder).

The Savvy Animations team was very helpful and always made the changes that I wanted. They adapted to our industry really well, as there was only one revision regarding the small terminology changes. 3–5 potential clients found our video helpful and quick to understand. Most people’s reflex when they don’t understand something is to become disinterested. The video has been helpful in regards to making people understand and getting them to turn around.

They performed excellently from a project management standpoint. We mostly used email and Zoom to communicate.

We were impressed by their confidence to do an excellent job in a cost-effective way. We were skeptical at first but they exceeded our expectations.
