The deadline to build the website was very short, and it was met successfully. The design choices brought some challenges to making the website easy to use for us (e.g. posting articles), but Roud managed to make it very accessible.

Roud Studios helped us build a stunning website that perfectly aligns with our company's brand identity. The designers and developers were extremely kind and driven—they brought their own ideas and suggestions for design, always keeping our brand's identity in mind.

They were very accommodating throughout the process and worked closely with us to include news and updates while building the site, ensuring our audience didn't miss any important information about our gallery.

Roud Studios dedicated countless hours to a complete makeover of our site, and we can already see the positive impact it's having. We had previously built the site using Wix, and Roud Studios was incredibly helpful with both domain and host transfers.

We are in the process of implementing it with our webmaster but Roud has expressed that they would help us anytime if we needed help. Our webmaster said we have everything and is looking good but it was nice to know that roud studio continues to help even after the project. It shows the character and values this company has.

The workflow was great. Communication from Alex in particular was very quick. We communicated through zoom and emails and Alex was always up for a meeting when asked.

This company showed the utmost professionalism even through tough situations. Their quality exceeds expectations and is honest hard-working individuals who gave us a beautiful modern design.

I’m one of the founders and the COO of Littlecode. We’re a software development agency that provides tech development, desktop software development, and mobile development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Roud Studio?

When we started the company four years ago, we only built a simple website and didn’t put that much effort into it. We decided to revamp the website, and we needed a web design and development agency to help us with this project. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Roud Studio designed and developed our website from scratch. We started by having a call with their CEO, and he explained their processes to our team. After that, they prepared the site’s design, which we could request to revise up to three times. We gave them a short brief and documentation about our target audience.  

Once Roud Studio finalized the design using Figma, they developed the website using WordPress and PHP. They hired a copywriter who prepared the site’s content. They then built the site’s home page, services page, technology page, about us page, careers page, and get in touch page.   

What is the team composition?

Alexander (CEO & Creative Director) was my point of contact, but I also worked with a copywriter, a web designer, and two web developers.

How did you come to work with Roud Studio?

I went to Clutch and looked for web design agencies that had a 4.8-star and above rating. I also looked for smaller companies since they tend to invest more time, work more agile, and don’t have predefined processes. I searched for agencies in the UK, Germany, Austria, and Poland because most of our clients are based in those countries. 

Roud Studio showed as the top web development agency in Poland, and I reached out to them. They were quick to reply and had an easy process. Their price wasn’t the cheapest, but it wasn’t also the most expensive — they were within our budget.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $12,000–$13,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from June–September 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Roud Studio’s design looked modern, and the website was fast and reliable. It had a solid backend, and it was easy to scale. 

How did Roud Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Roud Studio was proactive when it came to project management. Whenever there was a roadblock or anything that could jeopardize deadlines, they actively tried to solve it.

We communicate using email and calls, and we collaborate using InVision. Roud Studio achieved our goals and delivered the site in a timely manner. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Roud Studio recognized our needs, and they had business acumen. Whenever we wanted something, we didn’t need to explain much — they grasped what we needed and understood the way we think and what we wanted the result to be.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

It’s important to have a clear vision of what you want — find a way to explain that to Roud Studio.

Roud created our original customer facing website several years ago. After some research we decided that we wanted to reinvigorate our key landing pages to increase engagement and drive conversions.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Having worked with Roud before it was the obvious choice, as we was already delighted with the original outcome.

As we had a high quality website already, this was very much a fine tuning exercise. We identified key areas that needed improvement, created content and roughly wireframed our pages. We then passed this to Roud who would design the page. There would be several rounds of revisions to polish the design, and then it would go into development by Roud also.

We worked with 2 of Roud's staff, a designer and a developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our key landing pages have improved immensely, they are now content rich, highly optimised, and visually engaging. While it is still early days, we are seeing a noticeable increase in customer engagement, with a higher volume of leads in the form of live chats and contact submissions, as well as checkout completions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Roud integrated as if it were our own team members. The flow was highly optimised, while we wireframed and created content for one section of the site, Roud would design a page, and the developer would code another.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The web design quality speaks for itself, however I've been most impressed by their patience. I have a very high eye for detail and there was a lot of back and forth to ensure everything was perfect, as well as ad-hoc changes I would make as we designed the page. Roud stuck with it with the same level of tenacity from start to finish.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at all, very happy with the whole project and process. After a short break we will be continuing to work on additional areas of the website.

We was trying to find company with great UI skills + a loyal hourly rate in Google and diff design platforms like Behance. In the Behance, Roud Studio has a great portfolio and we double check double-check in the Clutch based on reviews.

Roud Studio created a couple of projects for us. We can describe few of this list: Configurator for 3D T-shirt models. It is a Shopify app. UI interface was created based on the Material UI but customizable UI components. We had 3 phases of the Design: Wireframes/Testing Clickable Prototype/ UI Design. 

Shopify Store for Glasses. Roud Studio have to create unique design 3 main store pages: Home page, PDP, PLP. On others pages - updated UI kit styling (colors, fonts, components etc).
