We prefer to work with a small set (3-5) of clients who who we can dedicate our full attention to.

This is up to each client. Typically we have weekly or biweekly syncs to stay aligned. For communication we use Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google. We deliver monthly progress reports, as well as all outputs defined in the project scope.

We practice co-creation, working closely with clients to understand their needs and work on solutions together. In practice, this means we invite our client to join our research and design efforts, functioning more like an internal team an an external contracted agency that does only what was contracted. We also offer embedded services, supporting clients as members of their team. This is very advantageous to companies who either don't have the resources or need to hire a full time employee. As a result of our approach, our clients benefit not only from the outputs of our work, but also the systems building and enablement that we always provide. Our philosophy is to "Teach a man to fish" rather than encouraging dependency on us. Because your success is our success.

Our Founder, Bryan, meets with every client. The goal is to understand the business outcomes you are trying to achieve and the best methods to help you reach them, within an agreed upon timeline and budget. We meet with key stakeholders to define and align on PO3 (purpose, outputs, and outcomes) of the project. This synchronizes expectations and sets the project roadmap. Once the project plan is in place, we begin the work and setup weekly syncs to stay aligned and collaborate as needed. In parallel we will make sure that we have all the logistics, software access, and sharing folders in place. Every month we review the progress. Together we review the outputs (research findings, strategies, and designs) that aim to improve the effectiveness of your product team and the experience of your customers.

The outcomes depend on the project, but we have never had a "failure." The most impactful research outcomes are clarity and confidence that you are building the right thing and that you are building it right. For product design, the outcomes we guarantee are products that work, pass safety and usability standards, and are delightful. Success metrics we often see include growth in market, reduced churn, improved customer satisfaction, improved retention, and overall business growth.
