BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior product manager for a data and intelligence service firm. We have more than 800 global partners, and we’re located in 15 countries. We help our clients select partners to work with, specifically focusing on the due diligence process. I manage our compliance technology platform.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Ready4S?
Last year, we launched a mobile app that worked in tandem with our compliance desktop platform. However, the vendor who’d been working on it went under, so we needed a new partner to finish the dev.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The first thing Ready4S did was refactor all our prior partner’s code to make sure it was up to standard and met all of our security requirements. They modified a few things and then also built out entirely new modules for the app, working in React Native and Kubernetes.
The new modules include a gift, travel, and entertainment program that our clients’ employees can use to track when they take a potential vendor out to a meal or give them a gift. They also built a due diligence module, which allows our clients to order due diligence reports from us or other partners. Ready4S built everything and made sure it all worked properly.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager, lead backend developer, two frontend developers, and a designer.
How did you come to work with Ready4S?
We found them on Clutch. They had great reviews, and our vice president of technology even met them in person. It went well, so we hired them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from April–October 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have to do a few things on our side before we can launch, but clients have been eager and excited to use the new app.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
We had meetings twice a week to keep everyone on the same page. They always informed us if there was a problem and gave us consistent status updates.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were eager to work on our project because they’d never done anything like this before and wanted to learn as much as possible about our business. They were proactively involved during the entire engagement and made the app as good as possible.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
If possible, meet with them in person and begin building a relationship early. Try to make them feel like part of your team.

Using Firebase as the backend, Ready4S developed a native iOS app. Key features included photo capturing, managing and cloud synchronization to better inform inventory systems.
Still in beta, the app has received a very positive feedback from key stakeholders. Ready4S adjusted to a very tight deadline, corrected bugs quickly and responded equally as promptly to other concerns. While there were some agile and QA challenges, the team’s quality and on-time deliverables were hallmarks of their work.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a startup based in Melbourne, Australia. We’re working on technology that enhances the mobile ordering experience for FMCG market (fast-moving consumer goods) with the focus on convenience, speed, and accuracy.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Ready4S?
As part of our digital solution, we needed to develop a mobile application that will help to capture inventory information using the device’s photo camera and then synchronize that data to the cloud. We were looking for a reliable partner that has strong and proven experience in building iOS apps with a focus on photo and camera features. We also had a challenging deadline and a limited budget.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
As an input into the project, we prepared a detailed Screencast supported by narrative, explaining and demonstrating all the features for the application. It was a heavy investment of time from our side but we wanted to make sure that the final app would meet our expectations.
Based off that information, Ready4S created a backlog of stories along with their estimations so to allow us to review and make some key decisions about the project scope. Following our strong Agile principles, we also dedicated some time to writing detailed Acceptance Criteria.
Over the course of 4 development weeks, Ready4S team took up the challenge to convert the agreed specifications into a functional native iOS app that uses Firebase as the backend. They created the technical solution from the ground up following their proven architectural approach, only liaising with our CTO when needed.
What is the team composition?
We interfaced with a manager, a QA resource, and a developer. There might have been other resources involved, but we didn’t directly interact with them.
How did you come to work with Ready4S?
Our key consideration was to get the most value for our money without compromising in quality. We decided to target firms based in Eastern Europe because of their known good skills at a reasonable price. It was also about the timeline; could the company actually deliver the quality we were looking for in a short period of time.
We found Ready4S on Clutch and they had good reviews. After speaking to a few candidates, we thought they seemed more experienced than the others and presented themselves well during our initial conversations. They also were confident that they could build the application given our prerequisites and timeline. What set them apart from the rest was that they asked all the right questions, especially in terms of technology, and also expressed a strong interest in building a long-term relationship with us. This resonated well with us because we ultimately wanted to find a partner that we can work with again in the future.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The first phase of the project is completed and took five weeks and is now completed. We worked together from May–June 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app looks good and it works as per our requirements. While there’s usually a temptation with a tight deadline to rush the code, Ready4S made sure that they implemented best practices. I’m pleased with the quality and maintainability of the code.
We’re currently undergoing internal beta testing of the application with a view to distribute it amongst broader audience. At the moment it is not a general public-facing app, but rather part of our solution for digital transformation of our customers.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
Our goal was to have minimal involvement in the process due to limited resources and existing commitments to other ongoing projects. The only way we saw for this to be feasible is via following strict Agile processes and efficient project management. Of course, this was a hard thing to balance considering the limited time allocated for the project, however, we were upfront about this dare and communicated to Ready4s the need for advice and assistance on how to best address it.
In practice, we ended up having much more involvement in the process that we planned for. At the start of the engagement, we were getting increasingly concerned about the experience of our assigned project manager, who seemed to lack some key strength that we negotiated for. To better manage the anticipated risk of not conforming to our firm requirements, we had to timely bring our own Agile practices into the process and take over some of the management responsibilities. This being said, at the middle way through the engagement we were given a more experienced project manager who demonstrated a much higher level of professionalism. She communicated well, took the initiative in dealing the intricate issues and efficiently managed our expectations, even when there seemed to be a bit of a friction. Had we had the same project manager onboard right from the start we reckon our experience would be much more positive in this regard.
It is worth mentioning that we were a demanding customer with extensive experience in both project management and technical leadership. All things considered, we felt that Ready4S team could improve on Scrum skills in terms of managing the stories and giving us timely reports on how we are tracking against out set target.
Overall, project management was acceptable but it could have been better.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Considering the amount of work and our bumpy start, we were skeptical that the work could be delivered on time and to our expectations. However, Ready4S team managed to organize the work into two sprints and deliver the results that we were happy with. They were able to move very quickly with both the development and with addressing any bugs or changes. They were very efficient and proactive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As mentioned before, we feel like the level of Agile that was promised to us was not met. We would also like to see them improve on the QA side in terms of writing and validating against the work against Acceptance Criteria to reduce the volume of raised bugs and time invested in User Acceptance Testing.
In addition, there was some significant confusion with the invoicing, which we as a customer would prefer to be abstracted from.

Ready4S is developing a mobile app for a startup company. They took the initial mock-ups through a workshop process and built a functioning prototype. The final project will be built for iOS and Android.
They continually guide an industry-novice through the complex process of mobile app development. Ready4S engaged a collaborative approach to develop an impressive app prototype. They’re communicative, flexible, and capable of providing valuable consultation. They’ve demonstrated remarkable patience.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of an app startup company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Ready4S?
I don’t come from a business background or have previous experience with app development. However, I came up with an innovative concept for a mobile app and described it to my friends and family. Everyone I spoke to offered positive feedback regarding the app’s various potential uses. At that point, I didn’t want to invest without first knowing if the product would be feasible to develop. As a result, I needed a development firm that could provide business consultation and build my app if possible.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Ready4S is currently developing my application for Android and iOS. The platform aims to be an alternative to social media. It’s a straightforward concept. I sent the initial mock-ups to their senior business development manager. From there, we worked through the initial workshop stages and planned out what was needed to build a prototype. This was a new experience for me, but they made everything clear from start to finish.
They eventually produced a working prototype and were able to quote a price for the full development within a 4-month timeline. I didn’t want to begin development until I’d had the total seed investment needed to complete the project. Ready4S offered the option of breaking the work down and paying in weekly installments. They understood when I wanted to wait and speak to further investors. They’ve been in touch with me and provided updates throughout the process. They’ve also offered to help with the funding and have their sales and marketing team review the information I’m presenting to potential investors.
What is the team composition?
In addition to their senior business development manager, I’ve also been in contact with the senior IT project manager, a designer, and someone from their sales and marketing team.
How did you come to work with Ready4S?
I did some research online and used Clutch as part of the process. I contacted a few other app development companies but didn’t feel comfortable working with them. Conversely, Ready4S made the whole process very simple. They weren’t pushy and offered general information meant to help in the initial stages of the agreement. I didn’t have the experience necessary to move forward alone, but Ready4S helped me every step of the way.
How much have you invested with them?
We’re expecting to spend a total of £90,000 ($119,329).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2018 and the collaboration is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The prototype they’ve delivered has been great for visualizing the concept. I don’t have a lot of tech experience, but Ready4S has been very helpful. They put together a team that’s can effectively translate my laymen terminology into useful direction for the developers. We haven’t conducted any user testing, but I’ve personally spoken to around 70 people and shown the prototype to investors who’ve provided good feedback.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
Anytime I needed to get in contact with Ready4S; they were happy to set up a Skype call. We also communicate via email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I initially had no concept of app pricing or the overall development process. For all I knew, the project could take £1 million to complete, or £5,000. I greatly appreciate their transparency in keeping me informed throughout the process.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve performed excellently thus far. If anything, the issues have been on my side regarding communication, but they’ve given me email updates regardless.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Don’t hesitate to bounce ideas between the developers. Listen to the experiences of each resource before deciding on a set approach.

Ready4S developed a native iOS mobile app that helps to gamify the couponing experience. Their frontend developers interacted with outside backend developers through Jira, Basecamp, and InVision.
Ready4S’ direct communication between developers ensured project completion ahead of schedule and under budget, despite evolving requirements and specifications. The app has not launched, which limits user feedback. However, demos and in-house QA testing confirmed the code quality.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a coupon app startup.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Ready4S?
We were looking for someone that could help quickly develop our mobile app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We began the project by engaging with a UX technician to develop some baseline requirements and specifications. After that, we relied on Ready4S for frontend development, including the iOS coding and screen design. We were simultaneously developing on the backend, so the project required a lot of interaction and communication between the teams and working in parallel as specifications developed.
The final product is a native iOS mobile app that is an interactive coupon platform. It creates a gaming atmosphere around couponing and requires live interaction with the server because it’s connected with social media networks—specifically Facebook and Twitter.
What is the team composition?
Throughout the entire process, I communicated with our project manager at least once a week. When the project began, we worked with a UX technician to develop the specifications. Then, as we moved toward the design and development work, we engaged a graphic designer and iOS developer.
How did you come to work with Ready4S?
I found them through Clutch.co reviews. They were one of several companies that we reached out to, but Ready4S’ price range and proven successes are why we decided to use them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $20,000–$25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together November 2017–February 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t launched the app yet, but our demos and QA testing has shown that the code and product overall is very solid.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
I was more concerned with having direct access to the developers than having an overly involved project manager. With the project having so many evolving specifications, we worried about information getting lost by using a project manager as a middleman.
That being said, I did speak with our project manager every week to establish priorities. We used Jira, Basecamp, and InVision as our management and tracking tools. They enabled us to communicate directly with the developers and give the project manager consistent status updates so that they could intervene if there was ever a problem.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very focused and responsive; we had direct access to the developers. They were proactive in making sure the project was successful—following-up and asking questions if they needed anything.
The process we used was a major factor in the project coming in under budget. They were very flexible when it came to changing requirements, eliminating unnecessary meetings, and which tools we used.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve had the same iOS developer throughout the entire project, but there has been quite a bit of turn over on the management side. If they could find a way to increase those retention rates, customers wouldn’t have to re-explain the project and its specifics.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend being familiar with and using the agile management methodology—specifically the two-week sprints. That will ensure that Ready4S can see and work with a demo every two weeks, and will create a line of direct communication with the developers, who provide very good product feedback.
Additionally, especially when outsourcing work, you should have a technical employee acting as a liaison between the teams. That way you can manage expectations and answer questions—on both sides—without much being lost in translation.

Featuring a mathematical framework used by banks to build successful portfolios, Ready4S built an app for iOS to help investors make informed decisions. The application will be released in the App Store soon.
Ready4S excels in providing helpful and responsive service. Acting as guides in the process of app development, they exceeded expectations in working many hours to make the project a success and completed the app on time. Additionally, they have good problem-solving skills.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Efficient Frontiers is a startup that’s aiming to make quantitative investment analysis tools more widely available.
Our main product is an app, Stock Optimizer, which brings portfolio optimization and other investment analysis tools to iPhone.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Ready4S?
We didn’t have the resources or expertise to develop an app in-house. We needed a firm that could design and build an app from scratch within a very tight budget!
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
As well as carrying out portfolio optimization and other analytical tools, the Stock Optimizer app also displays stock market charts and news.
Ready 4S were intimately involved in every stage of this project.
Their team was involved in the design, backend, frontend and in developing and modifying optimization algorithms. Prior to the design phase, they built a wireframe and solicited suggestions on details like colour. Within the early stages, they provided mock-ups to illustrate the user path.
Ready4S also built the latest version of the app, which has more features and functionalities.
They really have demonstrated their ability to handle the entire lifecycle of implementing a product, from design to launch to follow up support.
What is the team composition?
We were assigned a team of four. Kamil was our main point of contact and he was superb. He provided a detailed development plan with regular progress updates, responded to our (many) queries and liaised with the wider Ready4S team.
We were assigned the same team for the update carried out in September 2018. It really helped to work with the same people who were already familiar with our project.
We also dealt with Pawel Ferens, the Chief Technology Officer at Ready 4S. He often called to check on progress and was also on hand to help deal with any complicated technical issues.
How much have you invested in them?
We have spent $65,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started work on the first version of the app in August 2017 and this was launched on schedule in December 2017.
Work on the second version started in July 2018 and this was completed ahead of schedule by September 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t have much metrics just yet and have only just started marketing.
However, the app has been very well received by investment professionals. We have had several emails praising its look and feel and welcoming an app that brings portfolio optimization and back-testing to iPhone.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
We went from not having a product, to completing and launching the first version of our app and landing page in four months.
Ready4S met all their deadlines, kept us updated with progress and responded very quickly to all of our queries.
What really impressed us was how they responded to the inevitable problems we encountered as we progressed. They were very proactive in coming up with creative solutions that we couldn’t have though of on our own.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re collaborative and easy to work with. They’re not afraid to make suggestions for improvements and do a lot of research on their own to find better options. They guided us through the process of building an app, and they were more than happy to help. We are very grateful for the work they did.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not really.
We initially felt that it would be best to have a developer located in the same city as us.
However we’ve worked with Ready 4S for some time now and this is not an issue. We have regular calls, exchange emails, texts and Skype video calls and communication is just fine.

Ultimately our goal was to develop an MVP [minimal viable product], which included developing the app itself, the frontend and backend, as well as the CMS [content management system]. We were looking to outsource the work because we didn’t have anyone internally who was capable of doing the development.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
When I approached them, we had some designs, but it was mostly a concept. Ready4S took our original ideas and developed them into a fully functioning app. After they completed the UI [user interface], we had a fairly rough approximation of how we wanted it to look. They then did the design and full app development. Currently, the app is built solely for Android.
Businesses can now sign up with Appening, input their information, and have it appear on the app. Ready4S coded 2 separate search functions; one is a regular search with parameters of budget, radius, and user-selected interests. For example, a person with interests such as basketball, restaurants, or cafes can find related events. They built in 70-plus interests organized by category. The other function is a suggestion feature based on the person’s location, usage of the app, and saved activity favorites. Specific keyword search is also built in, as well as a profile page with some basic user information on it.
There is a Google Maps function within the search, allowing users to visualize exactly where they are in the search radius. The app is integrated with Facebook for log-in and sharing purposes.
What is the team dynamic?
I generally had 2 points of contact: the project manager and the business relations manager. There were other people assigned to the project, but I mostly communicated with them through my dedicated project manager. The business relations manager would get back to me regarding queries outside of development, such as strategy. There was a design aspect as well, and a couple of developers for the backend.
How did you come to work with Ready4S?
I wanted a development company that understood the specific needs of a startup. I Googled around for companies and checked out sites like Clutch. Ready4S scored highly, and I liked what their website communicated. I got in touch with them as well as a few others. I decided to go with them because they seemed to understand the scope of the project best, and the price was attractive.
How much have you invested in them?
We had spent ₤15,900 UK [$21,129].
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in mid-July of this year, and the project was completed in mid-September. Very minor aspects need to be finished at the moment, but essentially it is a fully functioning app.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive from both our internal team as well as our Beta testers. They’ve fixed common bugs and addressed any less-than-positive feedback fairly quickly.
If there were ever differences of opinion between the design team and us, we resolved it fairly easily.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed very well. I had a good project manager throughout the duration. They were very responsive and grasped our goals very quickly. These things can take a bit of explanation, but they not only understood the concepts fairly quickly, they also gave their own input. We enjoyed a great exchange of ideas throughout the process.
We mostly communicated through phone calls, e-mails, and Skype meetings. We also used Trello, which was quite useful. I was able to visualize exactly what needed to be done, what had been done, and how we were progressing with fixes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They excelled in both their communication and responsiveness. I have worked with a few others in this business, and responsiveness can sometimes be lacking. Ready4S usually responds the same day, even though I’m in the UK and the development team is in Poland.
They were always very accommodating. I am not a coder and I don’t understand much of it beyond the fundamentals, but they were very helpful in walking me through step-by-step.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m very fortunate in that there haven’t been many issues at all. There was a one issue that came down to a difference of opinion on a particular design aspect. I felt that it took a bit too much persuasion on my part for them to design it as I wanted it. It was a sticking point for a day or two. Whether they think it is a good or bad idea, ultimately, the final decision has to be the client’s, so that’s an area for improvement.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m a partner at Win2.pl, but during the reviewed project, I was Director of Sales Support Tool Department in Credit Agricole, a French network of cooperative and mutual banks operating worldwide, hiring more than 150,000 employees and providing services to 2.1 million customers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what reason(s) did your company hire Ready4S?
Our app main goal was ensuring our clients calling on our helpline the best customer service possible.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to equip our employees with a quick and clear access to our clients personal data. We decided that an app will be a perfect solution for that.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
Ready4S was recommended to us by the agency we cooperated with as reliable and willing to work under tight deadlines. This is why we decided to go with them.
Describe the project in detail.
We’d hired an external provider who designed the main screen of our app, but we still needed someone to implement the whole project to the already existing system infrastructure, which wasn’t easy as it had to be achieved quickly and without any mistakes. After all, we couldn’t just shut down our helpline entirely for weeks due to maintenance.
What was the team composition?
There were 25 team members: two project managers, 10 developers, one business owner, five business consultants, four testers, and three UX experts.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
All of our customer service employees in Poland, numbering in the thousands, actively use the application.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I am pleased with our effective cooperation with Ready4S. They fully accomplished the objectives specified in the project documentation. They recognize business objectives and cooperate successfully with the IT department in achieving expected goals. I highly recommend Ready4S as a reliable partner.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were particularly cooperative and have a good grasp of our business.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No. Our whole cooperation went really well.

Ready4S designed and developed an iOS mobile application. Working from initial mockups, they completed the design using an Adobe library, and then connected the APIs and established the authentication process.
The app was successfully launched, garnering at least 25% of its target users, and is still live. The schedule of the project was communicated well, and the team was very supportive, providing mockups that could be tested with users, and bringing both design and development expertize to the table.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Roche Pharmaceuticals is a large pharmaceutical company. I was the digital manager of the Polish affiliate and had a team of 2 to 3 people working with me. That means the full digital strategy, multi-channel strategy, and everything connected to online marketing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Ready4S?
We needed an app built. We didn’t know how we could make it available for everybody and restrict it only to physicians. We decided to connect the apps, and Ready4S did it beautifully.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us build an iOS mobile app for oncologists. They connected the app to a specific API which connects to the database of all physicians in Poland. A couple months after the iOS version was launched, we built the Android version.
We had in our mind what we wanted to build from the beginning. We had a couple of meetings to get our roadmap so everybody was on the same page. They then prepared the mockups of the screen so could review it before the app was built. The user experience was also very important for us. They did a great job with design. We used a special Adobe library for that, which played out really nice in the end for us. We were able to test it with some users, so that was great.
Afterwards, when we had the mockups and the screenshots done, it was all about building the logic and working on the backend. That meant connecting to the APIs and making the authentication work. The last part was putting the content in. We already had the tool that they delivered, a content management system, that we could use to upload our articles and news into the app. You have to be a doctor to log in using your specific physician license number. The app verifies you, and then you’re in. Inside, there is a lot of information from the oncology space: many articles, news, and other information such as patient studies.
What is the team dynamic?
I was in contact with just the project manager. I know that there were a lot of people involved, but we communicated solely with him.
How did you come to work with Ready4S?
The selection process took a long time — we interviewed 5 companies. We met somebody from 4S at a training event and called them to ask for the meeting.
We compared them to external and internal developer options. They weren’t cheapest on the market, but they also weren’t the most expensive, and their quality was excellent. Their initial process of creating the offer went way beyond other external vendors, which was a good sign for us. They created the first mockups and ideas, whereas other companies only sent us Excel sheets with the cost.
How much have you invested with them?
The app was $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in December 2014 and the project was completed in June 2015.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When I left Roche, we had 120 oncologists using the app. That’s 25% of the market share of oncologists in Poland, which was pretty great for an app, considering oncologists tend to be older. There was little negative feedback from any of them. The app is still live and I know it’s still being used.
How did Ready4S perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very responsive and very easy to work with. They provided a timeline and estimates. In these projects, it’s always very important to know where you are up to. They always could provide this information. There were times when things were delayed, but some of that was our fault. We liked their communication, and that’s why we chose them for a later project too.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their grasp of technology. What you usually find with software houses is that they have great developers, but they don’t know that their design isn’t that good. What I was happy about working with 4S, is that they also understood the design part. The developers did their part, but the app also turned out to be beautiful. That and the project management were the most surprising and most positive aspects.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We didn’t really have any issues. We didn’t have to communicate anything harsh or anything bad about them because everything was working fine.
Perhaps they could bring a bigger team to a meeting, in order to bring more value and ideas on the concept level, at the beginning.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the owner and founder of Ermellino, which is a sole proprietorship providing graphic design for web and mobile projects. My company cooperates with different freelance teams for client projects, and I’m working on developing some original content as well.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Ready4S?
I wanted to create an application called Travel by Art to help tourists navigate Paris by visiting places associated with famous artists who lived and created in the French capital. The app needed to be an interesting “storyteller” and function as a modern guide with maps and tours that also work offline.
What were your goals for this project?
I’m primarily focused on reaching the right target market. This product meets a unique interest in selected domains for only one city, so reaching the perfect user can be elusive. My targets are interested in Paris, traveling, and art history. Additionally, I wanted the ability to expand the app to include other big cities and cultural capitals in the future.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
Some of my startup contacts recommended Ready4S, and I chose them for this project from a group of other companies. An experienced developer acted as our consultant and oversaw the app development process. He also helped us recruit Ready4S. We hired them based on their industry experience and portfolio, communication skills, and reasonable price.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Ready4S developed the app, and our supervising programmer approved or corrected their work at each stage. The project lasted for four months.
What was the team composition?
I communicated with their management as well as with the programmer dedicated to our project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Ready4S coded the app effectively.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their programmer collaborated directly with our supervising programmer, who oversaw the whole project. Our cooperation was efficient and creative.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They delivered solid work and met our deadlines. I appreciated their professionalism and direct communication methods.
