Ramped supported us with product design, UX, development, and project management. Each sprint, they delivered user flows, personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes. They translated requirements into technical specs, led API design and integrations, and collaborated with our engineers to implement features. On the project management side, they owned the roadmap, introduced agile processes, prioritized features, and kept delivery on track with clear documentation and sprint planning.

The new UX flows drove higher adoption in beta and reduced onboarding time for new users. Our dev team had clearer requirements, which cut down on rework and integration issues. Stakeholders also had better visibility into timelines and deliverables.
Beyond improving usability, Ramped strengthened our development and project management processes, setting us up to scale with confidence.

Ramped performed very well in project management. They were excellent at managing our expectations and keeping us on track toward the outcome that we wanted.

They used Jira, Miro board to organize tasks and keep track of progress, which helped us stay organized and follow the development closely.

We had weekly touchpoints, and most of our communication was through Google Meet, Slack, or text with their key team members. This is one of their strengths.

We had a platform running on WordPress, but it couldn't handle the traffic. Our code was a mess, burdened with serious tech debt that made developing new features challenging. That's when we decided to start from a base of near-zero, building a solution with commercial viability and future scalability in mind.

I’m the marketing manager for Lassana Group of Companies. We've got seven different businesses under our umbrella. I’m in charge of our e-commerce platform. There, we have daily essentials, such as fresh produce, gifts like flowers, cakes, curated gift boxes, vouchers, and perfumes.

I’m also in charge of the marketing for our seven showrooms. We’re located in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

We were looking for people to redo the content on our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Stori is in charge of our website revamp. They initially came with huge recommendations from the industry. They’ve also managed the ads and ad content, including SEO, legal, keywords, and all those elements for the website. We haven’t required a content calendar, but they do seasonal collaterals for us.

Additionally, they’ve created presentation slides, cards for Mother’s Day, and some thank you cards that we’re still using.

We only have one contact with the account manager.

We found them through a recommendation. They were a boutique agency that did website development, which was exactly what we wanted.

We’ve spent about 200,000 rupees (approximately $2,500 USD).

The engagement started in May 2021 and is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve improved our website and its content tremendously. Also, they’ve been able to put a sentimental touch on our gifting category. We’ve noticed increased traffic to certain selected pages because the instructions are more straightforward and informative.

Stori made a corporate proposal for us, which we’ve given to all showroom managers to distribute to their clients and database. Now, our services and products are clearer for our target market. Additionally, the presentation slides they created have been helpful for our key account managers who go to pitch tenders.

How did Stori perform from a project management standpoint?

All deliverables are done ahead of time. They meet their deadlines, and working with them is very easy. Stori has been very accommodating on the budget, but sometimes we can't put a price on quality. Sometimes their job is excellent, so we need to tweak our budget a little. Overall, they’ve exceeded our expectations.

Regarding communication, we just drop a WhatsApp message, and they get back to us. We also use phone calls, emails, and text messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality of work and efficiency are their strongest points. Also, it's easy to work with them. They're very flexible and adaptable. We usually have productive phone conversations; we tell them our needs, and they deliver what we want.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve met our requirements. However, with their good quality of work, I believe they’ll get bigger and have more work to do. Maybe they could expand their team.

Make sure you have your requirement list ahead of the phone conversation. Brainstorm with Stori’s team and constantly communicate and give your feedback.

We hired Stori to help us with content marketing for our website. We needed  to strengthen our current website's talent attraction strategy, and  wanted to have a competitive edge in our talent engagements alongside our core business.

What was the scope of their development?

Stori was tasked with the SEO + copywriting for the website. They were tremendously great at it because they understood what the B2B market was, which was their niche. We started by giving them a basic brief so they could better understand the concept and the work around it — the creative ideas were entirely theirs, and they were out of the box.

Additionally, they helped with the branding and the messaging to bring the business' personality out, which was important for us.

They were great; their team was proactive, were always on time and schedule, and came prepared all the time. I didn't see any gaps in how they worked because they documented everything through helpful tools like Asana and Microsoft Teams.

They were so well versed in our niche; their knowledge was exceptional, and they brought us tremendous value because they provided ideas that were completely out of the box and worked to implement the same.

Also, the quality of their work was beyond great because they had a rigorous Quality Control process before they sent out the work to us.

They're very thorough with their work and very good at what they do, so we don't think there's anything they can improve on — we had a tremendous amount of learning from them.
