Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are happy to say the outcomes of our projects have always pretty much Exceeded our expectations. Our platform project took over 11 months which is what we expected.

Moreover we are 100% satisfied with the outcome and so are our clients. The company is comfortable with placing Radix's team members in front of its clients speaks volumes. This was not the case with our previous times we had worked with.

We both You both have experience which was a positive for both of us. Both able to set our expectations for project goals which were realistic.

Additionally we realized this is a relationship and we both have to learn how to work with each other to receive the most high outcome. Workflows effective because our communication is great.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Radixweb draws from their multi-talented resources to help us accomplish our goals. Their team overcomes any roadblocks, so they do a fantastic job delivering results. Before they push any code into live production, they conduct multiple tests. As a result, we haven’t experienced any major problems. Their team fixes any minor problems within a reasonable amount of time with minimal interruptions. When we need them, they always come through for us. It speaks to the success of the engagement that we’ve worked with them for such a long time.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re outstanding. We not only communicate via Skype and Zoom but their project manager also gave me her personal phone number. Their team uses Jira. They’re available and responsive. Despite the 12-hour time difference, their team accommodates my schedule. Radixweb meets every deadline, and if we encounter issues, they’re resolved by end of the day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Radixweb does whatever is necessary to complete a task. For example, they’ll stretch resources to meet a deadline. Their team produces quality work in a timely manner and within the allocated budget. They set out a timeline and finish the project within the timeframe.

No, they've met our needs and satisfied our customers.

They’re extremely talented. Don’t let the language barrier become a hurdle.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We have a bespoke backend system that controls our global inventory system and various other business systems. We were working with another agency, but the project became stale. I was looking for a new partner to add more life and create better development processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Radixweb has taken over our existing system, and they're maintaining it as is. Additionally, a separate team on their side is building the entire system from scratch using .NET. They’re helping us rebuild the entire backend system with a new look and new technology.

I work with 10–15 teammates, and I have one main point of contact.

I did a lot of research. I had a list of different companies and traveled throughout India to visit them. I also talked to their clients. Radixweb seemed to fit the bill in terms of what I was looking for.

I began working with them in January 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Radixweb has helped in the sense of maintaining our current system. Any issues that we were having previously, Radixweb has managed to find a solution, which is great.

What I like about them is that they understand the situation and come up with solutions; they don’t just wait for me to come up with solutions. They’re more proactive than my previous vendor.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

As with any project, there have been ups and downs. There’ve been more ups than downs, which is great. Radixweb handles project management very well. They understand my frustrations and they deliver according to what I want. 

We use a tracking system for all of our tasks. If there are issues, bugs, tasks, or QA needs, we log them in the system and we can see who is working on them and for how long. Even though we have a time difference, the team still works late into the night. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re maintaining the platform to the best of their capabilities despite the infrastructure that was set up previously. Radixweb is making the best of what they have. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I can think of. The team is very transparent, so I have no issues. They’re also very helpful and they bend over backward to do the work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you know what you want and be upfront with your expectations. That way they can help you the best way. If you work closely with them, you’ll get the most out of the engagement.

I own a couple of companies that are both in marketing. The first one I worked with Radixweb for was a marketing consultancy. Empresa Strategies, the company I have now, is more strategic. We cover company and market analysis and strategy. We have 10–20 employees and turn over $2 million–$10 million.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We initially hired them to do web development and anything to do with promoting a business for our marketing consultancy. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The initial project we worked with Radixweb on was building a real estate site that would offer a complete solution to people selling properties. Users could enter their details into forms, such as their address and characteristics of the property. That information would feed into templates for creating house signs.

This was in 2010, when video streaming wasn’t as functional, and we couldn’t easily upload high-resolution photos. Radixweb developed a full e-commerce website for creating signs from start to finish. Those could be A4 brochures, signs that would go on the fronts of cars, and large for-sale signs for putting in the front of a house. They built a whole solution. The website had a CMS where users could change content and create new templates.

I’ve used Radixweb for other projects since then. They handle projects from initiation to testing and improvements. They developed a health and safety site, onto which they implemented a Microsoft platform to allow users to edit documents on the site. Most recently, they developed my own website.

What is the team composition?

I’ve had four different project managers from them across five projects. Over time, I’ve dealt with 9–10 people from their company. They communicate brilliantly. We normally work through Skype, email, and phone.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I met a couple of their members at a trade show in Sydney, including their CEO and sales lead.

How much have you invested with them?

The first project cost around $25,000. A US company I was considering would’ve charged $80,000–$100,000 for the solution. The overall cost so far is around $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

My first project with them started in August 2010 and ran for around three months, and then they offered ongoing support. The second project was in 2011 for the health and safety site. They developed my own website in September or October 2019. It was done in about three weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Radixweb has met my expectations. They’re my go-to people; I have no hesitations doing complex projects with them, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’ve delivered my projects within reasonable timeframes. 

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very good with project management. The project manager on my first project was brilliant. They figured out all the solutions needed to bring my project into reality.

Their project lead communicates with me and goes back to the project team to do the development. I only deal with one person at a time, and they have other people to assist them behind the scenes. I prefer not to have too many stakeholders involved, but I’ve had conference calls with 2–3 other team members about technical issues and things I wasn’t sure of.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their innovation in terms of design, look and feel, and backend implementation sets them apart. They’ve gone past my expectations with product presentation. They’ve tended to come back with better functionalities than what I’d asked for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. They do a good job.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients should have a reasonable idea of what they need. Every project is going to be different. My projects have been more open-ended in terms of timelines, but I think they could complete a project within a set timeline.

If you go into a project without reasonably clear objectives, it can be a bit harder to reach a solution. Radixweb communicates brilliantly, and they have a good grasp of what they do. They’re good engineers when it comes to technology, but my advice for anyone looking to engage them is to make a reasonable brief. That will help them flesh out something beyond expectations.

They developed our web portals and did some social media marketing. Soon, they'll be doing some SEO work for one of our sites.

Radixweb also developed an application for customers to order services. On the app, users can choose the cleaning services they need, such as marble cleaning, chandelier cleaning, etc. It’s built for iOS and Android.

For each website they developed, we have an annual maintenance contract with them.

We also spoke with other possible partners, but many of them were too expensive. I recommended Radixweb because of the price and quality of their work.

In our conversations with customers, they often tell us they found us through our website. I don’t have any numerical metrics, though.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They were faster than us. We would say we wanted something done in a month and they’d finish in a week. Their delivery time was shocking. We keep each other updated via phone, WhatsApp, and Zoom.

Besides the quality and price, their communication is amazing.

No, they do whatever we tell them. They contribute ideas, but they’ll follow through on your ideas and goals.

Through our primary market research, we found a huge gap in how organizations enable their sales teams. Many sales enablement tools focus on engagement (sending emails, social selling), but we've heard sales teams need help with core messaging. This brought us to design a Digital Sales Playbook, and our journey with Radix began. They are and continue to be our agile development team, paired up with our product management experts.

What were your goals for this project?

We required a Sales Playbook to work on any device, anywhere. Giving users access to on-demand content and Sales and Marketing collateral at their fingertips.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We met with three development firms during our selection period. Radix was able to demonstrate they could develop the product we needed to design. Their customer support model is very responsive and continuous to be in sync with our Agile development sprints.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Custom Development, Project Management, Technology Consulting. Outlook integration allowed Sales Users to open pre-built email templates (from marketing) directly from the Playbook into Outlook, making it easy to send out prospecting messages. We're currently looking at adding Analytics to our Sales Playbook platform.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our clients are very happy with the UI/UX. They continue to say how unique our solution is in the market. We have a defined product roadmap that will continue to add value back to our customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Daily check-ins using Skype and Zoom. Any major releases, the development team and our team spoke over a Zoom meeting to understand the Users requirements and UX.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Agile development skills, Technology skillset, A clear understanding of User requirements & UX design.

I am the vice president of a data marketing company. We sell consumer and residential information data.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

We work with vast databases of hundreds of millions of records and have several websites to sell them. Each of those sites is coded a little differently—they have their own backends and are essentially their own entities. Our goal with Radixweb was to combine all of those sites to have a single endpoint, a single API, that we could use to access all of our databases from a common platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

To facilitate this kind of endeavor, Radixweb had to start by developing a generic API that could access all of our different databases—each one with different fields, different requirements, and different types of data in it. Radixweb provided backend development services using .NET Core and .NET Standard. That same new API needed to be extensible so that we could add additional databases to it in the future without having to rebuild the API.

The new database also had to handle the sizable datasets we work with, meaning it needed to be capable of building and executing database queries against our hundreds of millions of records. And the product needed to operate quickly without any timeouts on a web interface.

What is the team composition?

I’m unsure of the entire team size for the project, but I worked personally with 3–4 people.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

We have a small development team in-house, but we couldn’t handle a project of this size by ourselves. We found Radixweb and several other firms through a Google search, and we met with their teams. In addition to having experience working with the mailing industry, which is essentially what we’re in, Radixweb was familiar working with some of our customers and working with with the different APIs that serve this kind of data. Ultimately, they had the best background to take on this kind of project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in November 2018 and remains ongoing. They’ve completed their initial development, and we are currently in a user acceptance testing phase.

Judging by our first tests, the database works as quickly and as well as we expected it to. Radixweb has accomplished exactly what we asked of them, and we fully anticipate that the product will work very well.

They are clear and accurate in their timelines. Radixweb has been responsive and precise with specifications and implementing our requirements. They’ve kept us updated on schedules and sent status updates and code as needed. They’ve been very consistent in their performance during the entire project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had a clear understanding of our needs and the ability to reduce them down into specific requirements. Despite sometimes working with limited information or ambiguous information based on our existing documentation or our existing APIs and websites, their capacity to understand and build something like this without having done it before was very impressive.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve relied on Radixweb for several web design and web development projects using WordPress, HTML, and DotNetNuke (DNN). Typically, I provide hand drawings or computer printouts of wireframes to give Radixweb an idea of the structure I’m looking for.

For the website designs, my clients will usually make their preferences known, or we will examine what competitors in that space choose to do for their websites. To facilitate the design processes, I provide basic diagrams to spark inspiration. Radixweb has also completed some logo design work for my clients.

Our project manager is always available to us. We communicate well through email and Skype, which allows us to share screens. If necessary, I can also call them.

I am the COO of RemedyConnect, a digital services and marketing company in the United States. We provide healthcare-specific websites, marketing, after-hours answering services, and SEO solutions.

We were looking for resources with the development capability to augment our mobile app-based projects and extend our support services. Our main project was to rebuild an app called “Your Practice” with updated platforms. We also needed development support for our CMS.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to redevelop and simplify an existing mobile app so that it was faster and user-friendly. We also wanted to provide secure messaging within the application for providers.

Through smaller trial projects, we built a good understanding of their capabilities and approaches.

Radixweb reengineered our legacy app “Your Practice” using the latest iOS and Android frameworks. They simplified the UI with easy navigation and improved the performance of the apps drastically to provide a superior user experience.

The app allows parents and guardians to reach their doctors after hours to get certain medication-related answers. It has a secure encrypted messaging communication mechanism with a defined workflow for collaboration between physicians, patients, and our after-hours services app RemedyOnCall.

We had a dedicated project manager for the CMS and mobile app projects. We also had multiple front- and backend developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All projects were delivered on time and on budget. Their approach, communications, and technical knowledge were all of a high standard. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs? 

The project managers we were assigned were very accessible and easy to communicate with. They provided us with weekly status reports that were detailed and clear. 

What did you find most impressive about this company? 

The project management communications, reporting, and team management were all very positive. Their knowledge of Microsoft-based CMS and mobile apps was very high and provided great insight. 

Are there any areas for improvement? 

As with most projects, well-defined functional and non-functional requirements will always minimize iterations and scope variance. That said, Radixweb always reacted well to the uncertainties of the projects.

I’m a petroleum engineer, but I’m working on an unrelated startup project that involves building a time-management tool. I’m still working to sort out all of the paperwork at the moment, so I can’t share too much information.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radixweb?

I have an idea of how I wanted the platform to look and function, but I didn’t have the technical experience to build it. I needed a vendor to handle the development process.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I shared my requirements with Radixweb, and we worked together to scope out the project, assign a team of resources, plan weekly timelines and milestones, establish a reporting system, and decide on the technology to use for the build.

They started with the logo. Radixweb provided several options, and I picked the one I liked best. Then, they created a few more iterations to incorporate all of my feedback. I showed them my basic PowerPoint sketches for the user interface, and they turned those into mock-ups. Once we finalized the screens, their team started development. Radixweb integrated a few APIs with the tool. One of them syncs the app with our website to facilitate continuous data uploading and downloading for our users.

What is the team composition?

I worked with four different teams from Radixweb throughout the project. I interfaced with one or two people for each phase—logo, iOS development, Android development, and web development. There was a project manager for each component.

How did you come to work with Radixweb?

I searched for developers on Google and reached out to 12 companies scattered around the globe. In my first interactions with Radixweb, they seemed willing and eager to work with me, which helped me make my decision. They seemed like a nice team, so I was confident in moving forward with them.

How much have you invested with them?

They charged an hourly fee of $25. In total, we spent close to $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project from April­–October 2018. We paused for a bit after establishing the scope so that I could gather the budget. We were also scheduled to finish sooner, but I came up with some new ideas and requested additional changes, which added another month or two of work.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I plan to officially launch the app in March 2019. It’s currently live in Angola, but we have a few things to do before we release it into the European market, like GDPR compliance.

Based on my experience, Radixweb was a reliable and professional team. They’re a nearly perfect partner. It can be difficult to pass on a personal idea to an outside developer, but everything they delivered aligned with my vision. I felt completely understood. All aspects of their work, from the logo to the final product, resonated with me. They’re great listeners.

How did Radixweb perform from a project management standpoint?

We used GoToMeeting for day-to-day communication, and Radixweb sent weekly progress reports via email. They clearly detailed what they were working on and what they’d completed. Someone from their team was always available to meet or talk online so that we could resolve any issues as quickly as possible. They truly handled everything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I switched bank accounts, so there were some payment delays on my end. Radixweb was very understanding, and it never interfered with their work. Despite working in different areas, there was still a strong level of trust.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This was my first time working on this kind of project, so I can’t really compare it to any previous experiences. Overall, I’m pleased with the partnership.

Any advice for potential customers?

They strictly follow the client’s ideas and requirements rather than adding their own details. As such, anyone working with their team should be clear about they want and provide as many details as possible. You get what you ask for with Radixweb. Because I was only looking for someone to execute my plan, they were perfect.
