Apart from that, they created my logo, banners, and stickers, which I could use on the website and during events. What is the team composition?
Doug (CEO & Director of Design) had a team behind him, but I only interfaced with him during development. How did you come to work with PX Media LLC?
I talked to a lot of web developers and eventually came across Doug, who was nice enough to work with me on the budget that I had. He understood where I was coming from, so I decided to work with him. What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around January–February 2021. The project was finished last June 2021, but I still go to Doug for any of my graphic design needs.

I’ve received a lot of compliments about the website. Doug was very helpful in helping me expand the content in it by suggesting that we create a gallery and feature some of the makeup artists I’ve worked with. BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president and co-founder of JSA International. We own a website called trikletrade.com.

What challenge were you trying to address with PX Media?
We wanted to expand our online visibility and exposure through SEO. Our website was originally written for DotNetNuke (DNN). Backend issues, poor navigation, and clunky UX made it incompatible with our goals. Our rankings on Google needed marked improvement.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired PX Media to increase traffic and exposure for our website. They helped us compile a strategic list of SEO keywords. After they consulted us on how to improve our rankings, we requested further recommendations about improving our entire website. As they redesigned our site, the team transitioned from DNN to a more compatible CMS that would help us achieve our goals. They’re currently considering new options to improve the UX. To keep our users engaged, they regularly write creative, new content.

We work directly with Douglas (President and CEO, PX Media) extensively. An additional resource handles our reporting.
How did you come to work with PX Media?
They were referred to us by another vendor.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $10,000 so far since beginning our partnership. We currently spend about $500 per month for continual site management and SEO services.
What is the status of this engagement?
Work began in November 2015. As part of an ongoing relationship, they continue to improve our website to increase traffic and user engagement.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This partnership has given us a great ROI. Our website has seen a 20% increase in traffic. We have over 100,000 visitors a month. These metrics show quite a difference compared to our results before working with PX Media.
How did PX Media perform from a project management standpoint?
PX Media does a wonderful job keeping tabs on things. Every question and request goes through Douglas via email or conference calls. We can notify him about any issues, and he’ll always contact the appropriate party to resolve them. They send us extensive detailed progress reports weekly to keep us up to date on the status.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team is very upfront with us. As a woman-owned business, we haven’t always been treated ethically by comparable vendors. PX Media’s honesty and helpful support is a breath of fresh air. We greatly appreciate how well the president handles our business relationship. They efficiently manage and execute all the tasks we assign them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There have been some minor grammatical errors in the content they’ve created. While this wouldn’t make me consider changing our relationship, at times it has been easier to write copy in-house. Perhaps they could designate content creation to people who have a better command of the English language. They’ve already improved in this respect since we’ve worked together.
