BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at Kids Again Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides body-safety education, prevention resources, and family support to help protect children from sexual abuse and support healing for survivors and their caregivers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with PixeloLabs?
We needed to repair and stabilize our website after poor-quality work from a previous developer. We also needed to complete a full redesign to better reflect our mission and professionalism and provide reliable follow-up support to ensure the site functioned smoothly after launch.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
PixeloLabs has handled a full website recovery and redesign project for us. Their scope of work has included auditing and fixing issues left by a previous developer, rebuilding the site's structure, completing a full visual and functional redesign, improving usability and performance, and ensuring the site clearly communicated our mission.
Key deliverables have included a fully redesigned and repaired website, updated layouts and branding elements, improved functionality, and post-launch support to address fixes, updates, and ongoing technical needs. The team has been responsible for delivering several key features and sections, including a redesigned homepage, updated program and mission pages, improved navigation and site structure, and enhanced mobile responsiveness.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with 2–5 teammates from PixeloLabs.
How did you come to work with PixeloLabs?
We found PixeloLabs through an online search. We chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget, they had a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with PixeloLabs in February 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
PixeloLabs has delivered a fully functional, professional website that clearly represents our mission and restores trust after previous technical issues. We've seen improved site stability, faster performance, and a better user experience across devices. Internally, the website has become easier to manage and update, reducing ongoing technical problems and support needs.
Overall, the redesign has strengthened our credibility with donors, partners, and families seeking our services, which has been a key measure of success for us. Although we haven't tracked formal metrics such as website traffic or user engagement, we've received positive qualitative feedback from internal stakeholders and partners noting the improved design, functionality, and overall professionalism of the site. The absence of technical issues after launch and the ease of ongoing site management have also been strong indicators that the project has been successful.
How did PixeloLabs perform from a project management standpoint?
PixeloLabs's project management has been collaborative and flexible. Although there have been some timing delays, many of those challenges have been on our side rather than theirs. The team has remained responsive throughout the process, delivered the final website successfully, and provided continued support after launch to ensure everything functions as expected.
Our primary forms of communication with PixeloLabs have been virtual meetings and emails or messaging apps.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What has stood out most about working with PixeloLabs has been their kindness and patience. The team has approached the project with genuine care, been understanding of our nonprofit's needs and constraints, and remained supportive throughout the process, which has made the experience feel collaborative and respectful rather than transactional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At times, some feedback and communications have felt repetitive, which has occasionally slowed the process. Streamlining feedback loops or consolidating updates could have helped improve efficiency. That said, PixeloLabs's willingness to communicate and ensure alignment has also reflected their commitment to getting the work right.

Pixelolabs demonstrated flexibility and patience in working with KAF’s small team, limited nonprofit budget, and bandwidth constraints. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impresses us most about Pixelolabs is their genuine commitment to supporting the mission of a nonprofit. They don’t just provide technical services—they believe in the cause and bring that passion into their work. Their team also stands out for their willingness to empower clients by walking us through how to edit and update the website ourselves, ensuring information isn’t siloed or locked behind their team. This level of transparency and collaboration is rare and deeply appreciated
Are there any areas for improvement or something PixeloLabs could have done differently?
Overall, we were very satisfied with Pixelolabs’ work and don’t have significant areas for improvement to note. If anything, we would have appreciated just a touch more attention to detail in certain areas. Even so, their flexibility, responsiveness, and dedication more than made up for it, and the final product reflects their commitment to our mission.
