We wanted to build our own software and mobile app for our bike-sharing service. Until then, we used a third-party white-label solution.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Perspective Unity helped us design and build an iOS and Android app and a web admin portal. We went through a couple of different stages. First, we went through an audit, where we discussed everything we wanted to accomplish. Then, the team went through the wireframes and the low- and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
At the end of the design process, the team started the development itself, and when the app was launched, they fixed some minor bugs. The team used PHP and Laravel for the backend and Flutter for the frontend. They also connected the app with IoT devices using Node.js.
What is the team composition?
We worked with around eight people from Perspective Unity, including a project manager, a backend developer, a frontend developer, a person responsible for the connectivity between the IoT devices and the backend, two designers, a QA specialist, and Kristiyan.

A friend of mine referred Perspective Unity to me, and we checked out their portfolio and liked what we saw. We also liked their flexibility, which was very important for us as a startup.

After launching the new app, we received 12 more reviews in one month, and the average rating was 4.6.

They delivered the work on time. There were some adjustments to the budget, but everything was very transparent. They gave us the time committed to every task, so we knew where the money was going. We used Slack for communication, ClickUp for project management, and we also had weekly calls through Google Meet.

I knew it would be almost impossible because of the deadlines proposed by other companies. Perspective Unity knew very well what they were doing. They developed much more complex products than ours, but what they did with our project was impressive because they had a very short time to implement it and did it with quality.

We employed Perspective Unity Ltd. to develop the e-commerce section of our website. Eventually, we engaged them for a total overhaul of the website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Perspective Unity Ltd. has designed and developed a custom website for us. We have previously struggled with different legacy systems, so the team hasn't used any external tools. The site was originally developed on WordPress, but we were also using our internal CRM, which wasn’t integrated with the website, and a WordPress module for e-commerce. We needed to do a lot of manual work to accommodate the different parts of the website.
The general idea and target of the whole project has been to synchronize and integrate our CRM platform with the e-commerce part of the website. Eventually, we decided to ask Perspective Unity Ltd. to redevelop the whole website because we currently use Zoho, which requires detailed knowledge and a different approach to the implementation.
Although Zoho is detailed in terms of modules, we required Perspective Unity Ltd. to have different kinds of expertise to achieve a smooth operation of the system when the modules are connected. The team has worked on Zoho to make it fully automated and has provided maintenance.
Perspective Unity Ltd. uses a module on our CRM platform within Zoho for e-commerce development. The team has finished the first iteration of the site and is working on the second one. Currently, they're in the process of adding new functionalities and improving some of the features that have already been developed.

In the beginning, we worked with the lead designer and a UX designer. We've also worked with a project manager in charge of communication between the client and the internal team.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Even though we haven't launched any campaigns, our purchases are up around 200% compared to last year's feelers, which is a good figure. However, we still have a lot of work to do to automate the process, which is a bit tricky because of the product logistics associated with handling the product.
How did Perspective Unity Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?
In terms of schedule, they haven't delivered on time. The first phases of the project were very professionally handled in terms of timing and delivery. The discovery and wireframes were delivered on time, but we got stuck on the design part of the process. It took us twice the time and three times the budget, which hindered the whole process and soured the experience. However, we've made it through this period, and the final result is great.
In terms of communication, things are pretty great. We have weekly calls and online meetings with team members. Everybody participates and gives their input into the project, so everybody is on the same page and actively involved to finish things on time. We introduced this model after the first iteration due to the trouble we had with the design portion.
Part of the difficulty came from the fact that the creative agency was also involved but not 100% leading the project. Triangular communication obstructed the speed of the development process. Now, we’ve streamlined the whole communication, and things are moving quicker and better.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
The CEO and the lead designer have led different phases of the project, such as discovery and design, and executed the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Perspective Unity Ltd. is very result-oriented and wants to accommodate our requirements to the greatest extent. They act as a balancing element in the whole system because they’re very accommodating and want to deliver the best results possible.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Meeting deadlines concerns all parties involved, so we share some of the blame. Regarding the first iteration, the design part was the main issue. They couldn’t figure it out because many parties were involved, and they couldn’t find the right positioning and approach to visualizing the whole journey. Currently, they're working with very strict deadlines, and I hope they'll make them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When developing software, you have to know what you’re trying to achieve very clearly in terms of requirements. Give Perspective Unity Ltd. time to accommodate all the different revisions so that you’re not disappointed if the deadlines aren’t precisely met.

I work for Intercars S.A., a Polish logistics company that delivers mechanical parts for the automotive industry. I'm the technical leader of one of our IT departments, which works on our internal tool.

What challenge were you trying to address with Perspective Unity Ltd.?
We've been working with Perspective Unity Ltd. for many years. Originally, we needed help with the development of our internal tool.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Perspective Unity Ltd. has been helping us develop our internal tool, which is written in Python. The team has also helped us test our e-commerce shop using Selenium and Python. Currently, they provide us with two Python developers who are helping us program Selenium for testing.
We didn't provide Perspective Unity Ltd. with documentation to kickstart the project. They started the project themselves. Over time, the ownership of the internal tool has been passed to Intercars S.A. As Intercars S.A.'s employee and the technical leader of this project, I'm mostly the owner of this internal tool now.
What is the team composition?
We currently work with two programmers. I've also talked with Kris (CEO).
How did you come to work with Perspective Unity Ltd.?
Our engagement started so long ago that I don't remember how it happened.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2018, and the engagement is ongoing. We still want to collaborate with Perspective Unity Ltd. for the upcoming years.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We assess our engagement's success by looking at the overall performance of Perspective Unity Ltd.'s programmers. We follow the Scrum methodology, so we see how many points we complete and the overall effectiveness of the programmers' work. Overall, we're very happy with it.
One of the programmers is very engaged and takes on more responsibilities for the project. He's proactive in that regard, which is very nice. Overall, there's no power play when working with Perspective Unity Ltd. No one challenges the status, and I try to create a good work culture where everyone can say their own opinion.
If someone wants to take on more responsibilities, I give them the opportunity, guide them through the project, and give them directions. Still, they need to find things on their own in order to take on these responsibilities. Perspective Unity Ltd. is effective, practical, and very mature in the way they collaborate with us, which is great.
How did Perspective Unity Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Microsoft Teams to collaborate. Perspective Unity Ltd. is in Bulgaria, and we're in Poland, so we've established an international collaboration. We speak English all the time, so everyone involved needs to have a minimum level of English in order to communicate. Some of them have a better level than others.
We have our scrum meetings every day at 9 a.m., so we're in constant communication. Sometimes, we have a few meetings per day, depending on the upcoming challenges.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Both programmers from Perspective Unity Ltd. are very good. Although we have some discrepancies in our English levels, those challenges are not relevant to our project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When joining a project like this, the newcomer enters a place with legacy assignments and a legacy status quo. When I joined this project, a lot of our leadership changed. Moreover, the product was supposed to be bigger, but we didn't grow it to the point where we finalized that.
Although the core part of this project was done, some of the additional features weren't. Nonetheless, Perspective Unity Ltd. came into this situation with an open mind. After talking to them, we changed a few things. We had very strict policies, so we loosened up some of those, allowing Perspective Unity Ltd. to find themselves immersed in the project in more responsible ways.
Before we changed our policies, the team's participation was more limited. Even when Perspective Unity Ltd. was in a more limited position, they kept working. Once we removed the constraints and gave them more responsibilities, they took those responsibilities, which was great.
Overall, they're very diligent and very mature, so they've understood their responsibility at every stage. The team is very open to discuss, as well as very professional and friendly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There's nothing in particular Perspective Unity Ltd. could improve on. As mentioned, one of the developers has limited English skills, so he doesn't understand some things — he's still learning. for example, we can't always make jokes, which limits our capacity to develop a friendship.
Nonetheless, this programmer's English level isn't a limiting factor. I've never had this issue talking to Kris, either. Our negotiations have been great, and talking business with him is always a pleasure. Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I don't have any particular advice. All I recommend is establishing a friendly relationship with them. Although still professional, we have a friendly relationship with Perspective Unity Ltd. It's very nice that they can switch back and forth between being friendly and professional. This means that we're here to do business and be efficient in our work, but we still can have pleasant conversations, which is great.

Transforming the adoption process, for all furry friends that need a Furever home Perspective Unity had the pleasure of working on a pawseome and wholesome iOs and Android app project that has fittingly been named Furever App. Furever App will make a huge difference for the thousands of four legged furries in Bulgaria waiting for their Furever home. From the first initial call there was a great partnership chemistry between Furever and Perspective Unity. Sometimes as a company, we do get to work on projects that align with our personal values and interests. Being huge animal lovers in the office, working on developing Furever was not just a job but an honour. From Furever’s perspective, one of the most purrrrfect aspects of our collaboration was the clear and precise communication. Our client really appreciated that we guided them every step of the way in a field that was new to them - app development. We did it in a way that was easy to understand and also inclusive, resulting in a smooth relationship and quick build of trust.
