Perpetual Solution did exactly what I wanted them to do, and we have received positive feedback so far. The website looks good.

How did Perpetual Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They sent layouts to me and made any changes I requested. Communication was alright. We talked on the phone every 2–3 weeks; we didn’t have scheduled meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Perpetual Solution is easy to work with — we didn’t have any conflicts or problems. I liked the ideas they contributed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

More frequent communication would keep clients updated better.

Give them all your ideas and be patient with them. Talk to them often.

Perpetual Solution was tasked to fully develop and deliver a website within a week. The old website had extremely basic designs, and we wanted the new one to be extremely attractive. There was a lot of input and design about the general feeling of the website that’s in line with the company’s message.

Perpetual Solution built the new website from scratch. We selected a series of events that really conveyed messages about our pharmaceutical company and implemented spinning images on the site.

I worked with Geneviève (Owner). She was my main contact as she dispatched the work to at least one programmer.

The website has made me happy, which is difficult. It’s met our goals and requirements.

How did Perpetual Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

Perpetual Solution was extremely proactive. They anticipated my demands and requirements. Their team was already figuring out how to work on a solution before I expressed requirements.

They fully delivered on two milestones — one for design and another for programming. The turnaround was extremely short, and they delivered it exactly on the minute that they promised it’d be delivered.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They didn’t over-sell. Their team delivered exactly what they said they were going to deliver and more. That’s particularly impressive, especially with a short turnaround time. I also liked their creative process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I would have them change.

It’s always good to know what you want. Having a good understanding of your objectives in terms of design helps everyone in the process. It’ll help Perpetual Solution to deliver their mission.

Perpetual Solution designed and developed our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave them our company logo and explained what we do. Perpetual Solution then asked us to divide our products into subcategories. They assigned someone to help me write a description of each category. Then they chose some pictures to illustrate each product category, like office supplies, and they changed the ones I didn’t like.

Over the course of a month, they developed our website. Once it was all set up, I offered input and requested changes.

I’ve worked with Geneviève (Owner) and a content writer.

How did you come to work with Perpetual Solution?

My IT specialist knew them and I trusted his opinion. He said that Perpetual Solution seemed to be a fair company and was easy to work with. I was comfortable speaking with Geneviève, so I decided to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

Their prices are very fair. They have a startup fee of $1,000 and we have a monthly maintenance fee of around $150 (approximately $1,300 in total).

What is the status of this engagement?

It was a one-month project, between November–December 2020. We have a two-year maintenance contract with Perpetual. They’ll be implementing e-commerce functionalities for us as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This was our first website, and I really didn’t know what I wanted. Perpetual Solution was patient and helped me brainstorm. They guided us through the project and then accommodated the change requests I made.

How did Perpetual Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on-time. Throughout the project, they called me when they said they would, but we communicated primarily over email. After the project was complete, they conducted follow-ups to ensure that I was satisfied.

They were genuine and easy to work with. For example, I wasn’t sure how the maintenance contract would work. They explained that minor changes would be done within the same day, and they’d give us time estimates for more complex things.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was more than satisfied with them. When I didn’t know what I wanted to do, they showed me examples so I could visualize the site.  

They were very honest. We paid them separately for content writing, and their writer told me that we weren’t utilizing her services. That showed me that they weren’t just trying to make a sale; they cared about our success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They preferred email but would pick up the phone when I called.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

First, new clients should be organized. They should also let Geneviève offer input and ideas. She seems to be well-aware of the industry.

We were experiencing growth and wanted our website to reflect that.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an existing site that they revamped to make it more user-friendly. They edited content to make our products more understandable to end-users, putting descriptions in layman’s terms. The platform was created through Squarespace. They were responsible for both design and development work for the site. 

Our team wanted each sector of our site to be easier to navigate, and they accommodated those goals with web page design and linking strategies. They also helped us effectively leverage our G-Suite platform, adding email addresses for new teammates and introducing us to some Google functionalities.

I worked with the owner of the company, who coordinated the entire project with her team on her end.

We researched local website developers and weren’t too impressed with the providers we found. Following that, we decided to search for providers throughout Canada. Their site and portfolio drew us in.

We could envision how their past work would translate into a project with our team. One of our goals is creating an e-commerce site, and they have a past e-commerce project that looked exactly how we want our site to appear in the future.

After sending the site out for a third-party audit and testing, everything came back great. We’re happy about that. 

How did Perpetual Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated over email and phone. They were quite effective and efficient in timeline management. If anything, we slowed the process down. We could reach out to them whenever needed, and they would take care of things right away.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their knowledge of the industry and ability to build strong relationships impressed us. They’re firm believers in our site and its ability to grow each month.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be helpful for them to develop a basic user guide or FAQ document. That may help speed up transactions from the client-side.

I’ve recommended them to people already. Be ready to complete the project because they move pretty quickly.

We were aiming to create a new website that would give us a more professional look while making it easier for people to navigate.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Working with a pre-existing website, they were responsible for building a new website with a completely new look. Before, the site appeared like a mom and pop shop, but we hired them hoping for a more professional, clean look. 

I was managing the website on my end and wanted it to be a bit easier to edit. They created sections under each page that I could use to add a notice. We also have a new audio library that allows me to upload audiobooks whenever needed.

There’s a blog page for news and events that I can use whenever we have an event or campaign coming up. I’m able to post employment opportunities as well. They were responsible for both development and design, adjusting our logo and colors.

I worked directly with one contact. There was a larger team working in the background.

My executive director had worked with them previously on a website for another organization. We received a few quotes from them and other vendors, but we liked their flexibility and offerings best.

The development cost was $1,600. We’ve now paid two years of billing at $99 each month.

We worked together from March–November 2020. Our communications together are ongoing.

This was a very successful project. After winning a last-minute award, they were able to work with us to add it to our platform in time for launch. In terms of feedback, our staff is very impressed with the new website. Our board has shared positive comments as well.

We communicate over email and phone as needed. They were open in our communications, explaining how features work throughout the customization process.

We appreciated their ability to make some custom features for us. They met all my requests.

We have a French site as well, so it would’ve helped if they could pay a bit more attention to the translation from English to French.

Perpetual recoded some of our website’s pages. They applied for a Google My Business profile and integrated metadata tags into our website. Their team also moved us to a new hosting service. We went live about two weeks ago. Now, we’re working on the French part of the website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

All of the promises Perpetual made, they delivered. Now, the website’s reliable and fast; the speed’s perfect. However, it’s too early for Google to parse through the whole website.

When we moved hosting services, we didn’t want any glitches in the emails that the company uses. Perpetual worked from Friday night until Monday to make sure that everything was up and running without any downtime.

How did Perpetual Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They respond to our emails and requests quickly. For example, when they recoded parts of the website, several features looked differently from how we designed them. When we told them that we wanted them to look as we designed them, they made the changes right away.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team’s knowledgeable and reliable. It’s easy to work with Perpetual. They’re true professionals. We haven’t had a single bump in the road.

No, our engagement’s one of the easiest I’ve ever had.

 She put together a beautiful website, based on the input I had on what I wanted it to look like. She definitely put together a beautiful, functional, and easy to navigate platform. She also manages and hosts the site. Whenever I need to update my site, she’s available to make those changes. For example, I was just featured in the local newspaper and I sent her the articles to post on the media section of the website.

I’ve had more hits since working with Perpetual Solution. People who call me to set up an appointment usually find me through a Google search. Even people who have a referral, they go to check out my website. I can tell if they contact me directly through the site.

I usually email Genevieve, but if there’s anything we need to talk about, then we’ll have a call to talk about what I need. For example, I just reached out to her to help me out with signs and logos to put outside clients’ houses.

She put together a really beautiful website with the pictures I provided. She’s also available and fairly easy to reach. She’s very accommodating.

I can’t think of anything.

It’s a partnership and you both have to be invested in the project. I had to submit a lot of information and high-quality photos to work with. She really depends on that to create a nice website. It was easy to work with her as a creative partner.

We had acquired another company that had two functioning websites, but we had a very basic website. Since we were applying for government programs, they reviewed our website and made it so that it was more professional.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We really wanted to create the new face of the company. Their team amalgamated different websites to create a more professional look. They also added the ability to customize it to get a better ranking on search engines. There’s a tie-in with social media as well.

Perpetual Solution will eventually add functionalities to the site to process credit card transactions, such as user login features and payment processing.

We were pleasantly surprised at what she was able to do in a short period of time. The professional look has helped establish the firm so far. Based on the limited instruction we gave her, she was able to understand the requirements and put together a great format. It was essentially a turnkey project.

We had two or three initial work sessions where we discussed different angles of my blogs and the writer. They were inquiring on my needs, key elements of my blog and the experience I wanted to create, aspects of my personality, color schemes... They were great listener with very pertinent questions. They came back with two different mood boards, both excellent. From the chosen one, they created an entire brand package for me.

We just built two apartment buildings and needed to make a website to give tenants an idea of what we had to offer.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Perpetual Solution built a website from scratch to feature our new apartment buildings. The website featured apartment layouts using computer-aided designs (CADs), an online application form, and a contact form for prospective tenants to send in questions. It saved a lot of back-and-forths. The online application was an especially seamless process: people can complete an application and submit documents so we can assess their qualifications. 

The websites are accessible for any browser on desktops, smartphones, and tablets. Perpetual Solution has been able to make changes as our needs evolve organically. 

What is the team composition?

I only work with Geneviève (Senior Account Manager).

How did you come to work with Perpetual Solution?

I learned about Geneviève through a recommendation from a friend of mine.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $100 CAD per month (approximately $71 USD), which is an extremely fair price.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in December 2016 and is ongoing. I call Geneviève whenever I need her for maintenance and a little bit of SEO.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Once we put up the CADs — the 3D renderings — of our 18-unit building, we rented out every unit before the construction was complete. That has partly to do with the demand in the area and with what Perpetual Solution put up there for renters to get an idea of what the apartment was about.

The websites have allowed us to work smarter and easier. The layouts allowed us to save time on tours with tenants that aren’t going to take the unit. If they were interested, they can send an email or go straight to the online application. That’s streamlined as you can process this interaction. Each website was done professionally, efficiently, and cost-effectively, and they continue to serve our needs.

How did Perpetual Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate a little bit by email and a little bit by phone. We still need to have conversations. Geneviève will go part by part and get my approval before proceeding. She’s done apartments for other people so she knew intuitively what our needs might be in this situation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their pure facilitation from concept to realization to execution to actual usage stands out. It’s been really easy for us to get what we want out of it. I wish that building construction could go one-tenth as smoothly as building this website with Perpetual Solution went. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing really comes to mind. We’ll see what happens. The next step is renewals, so we’ve been thinking forward about a tenant login to pick up messages, renewal notifications, etc. That’d require a much more detailed website. But that’s on the back-burner right now; we don’t have the volume of tenants right now that really requires automation. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Just do it. Look and see what Perpetual Solution can offer for you. Find that sweet spot of cost-effective and adequate visual interaction for whatever needs you might have. It’s hard for me to speak to what someone in another business might need, but I have to imagine Geneviève can do it. She can communicate effectively enough to get those needs out of a customer.
