One of the things that I love the most about their communication style is that they will often make Loom videos to explain detailed updates. For instance, our client success rep records a video of himself and his screen and sends a link to the video in an email. This saves us time wasted trying to interpret a plain-text email or even scheduling a meeting. We LOVE their videos.

Their response time is unlike any other company I've worked with. I'll email them over the weekend, and at times, I'll get a response within an hour or two. After working with them for several years, I can honestly say they still take pride in getting results for their clients. Foundation repair is a highly competitive market, and the thing that I find most impressive about Outpace is their creativity, hustle, and responsiveness. When onboarding a new white label SEO customer, the first step is keyword research. Their team outlines relevant keywords, identifies the average monthly search volume, and shows where the client is currently ranking. After solidifying keywords, they get started with on-site optimization. This includes headers, titles, meta descriptions, schema, citations, etc. As that is going, they're also building the off-site authority for the client. Their team is incredibly technical and knows how to correct any development issues across all of our WordPress websites.

Outside of meeting with our rep, we have worked with our content strategist, dedicated dev, and SEO.

Each month Outpace sends over monthly reports with our branding. This enables us to simply pass the SEO reports over to our clients. Each report shows the progress they've made month over month. It's wild to see how fast some of our client sites have crawled up the organic rankings and Google snack pack!

The Outpace team is incredibly organized. Over the years, we have identified that they use Asana to keep all of our projects organized. Communication is typically done via email, or we will jump on a Google Meet to discuss any SEO-related efforts.

They've helped us several times on weekends and after work hours with emergencies. They always pick up the phone and always reply back to emails incredibly fast.

We had really poor Google search visibility and organic traffic in general. Our goal with hiring Outpace was to improve rankings for several relevant keywords so that we could no longer be on page 16 of search results for terms like 'apartment marketing' or 'multifamily marketing'.

We had discoveries with three separate SEO agencies and Outpace was far and away the best experience in this process. Another agency we met with never asked us any questions about our needs or goals. They simply scheduled an hour meeting with us to go over their price sheet. Outpace was very attentive to what our goals were, and were also respectful during the closing part of the sale.

To this point Outpace has done a significant amount of technical SEO work behind the scenes such as photo optimization, which has resulted in excellent page speed scores. They've also done on-site SEO such as keyword optimization, which for some keywords, has helped us rank outside the top 100 of search results to within the first couple of pages. Additionally, they've helped a lot with content buildout and implementing off-site SEO as well.

We work with Chad and Summit. I would best describe Chad as an account manager and Summit as head of SEO. These two individuals have been working with us since the first sales call so we really appreciate the relationship.

The best feedback was when we had our company quarterly recap and we were able to show off to our other teams the amount of progress we've made on keyword rankings and SEO in general, and our colleagues were definitely amazed by just how much improvement there was in less than 6 months. I think many other teammates knew we had hired Outpace to help us with SEO but it wasn't until the quarterly meeting when others saw the value of the work and how badly it was needed.

I think Chad and Summit have been great in all three fronts. They established an SEO roadmap and scheduled weekly meetings for the first few months to get everything started. As more and more things got completed, we switched to bi-weekly meetings. After every meeting Chad sends us a complete recap, including to-dos both sides have. He and Summit are also responsiveness for any email questions, and they usually send back feedback in the form of video so they can show their screen.

Selfishly, I think they are a lot like our company in terms of service and purpose. They consider others important and that falls in line with our thinking and so it's great to work with another company like that.

We decided to move forward with Outpace SEO based on their presentation. Most SEO companies met with us, asked us a few questions, and then gave us a price. Outpace took a VERY different approach. They met with us on two occasions. First, they met with us to understand our business and the people we have been trying to reach.

Next, they did about 4-6 hours of research to identify the SEO opportunity in front of our company. Last, they met with us to showcase all of their research. We were blown away by their expertise and decided to move forward.

Our traffic has more than doubled since we have started working with their team. More importantly, our quality leads have also more than doubled. What more could you ask for from an SEO firm?!

Most of their communication is done via email. Sometimes they will even email us a link to a video where their screen has been recorded, and our rep explains a complex question/situation.

This isn't a stagnant SEO company. Their team truly cares about the ROI they generate for their clients. As the algorithms continue to change, so does their approach.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Outpace has worked with our Google listings to get them active and relevant.  They’ve done blogs and some website maintenance, but overall, they’ve been very aggressive at helping us rank better on Google.

We already had a website, but they’ve fine-tuned it to make it work better with Google. They showed us we had some broken links, and they’ve been instrumental in repairing backlinks. Moreover, they give us their opinion. We might have ideas about what we want to do, but they suggest better ways to go about it.

They have other people in the background, but we’ve met with the two co-owners.

How did you come to work with Outpace?

Our owner found them through one of their ads. We didn’t know them; we took a shot in the dark. Initially, we had 4–5 meetings with Outpace before we decided to pull the trigger, and we’re glad we did.

We spend almost $3,000 per month. In total, it’s been around $23,600.

We started working with them in April 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

We haven’t had to pay much for our PPC because our SEO does better now. They’ve also brought us to page one on several keywords, even though some weren’t even ranking.

How did Outpace perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re pretty satisfied with them. They get back to us right away, and the team stays on top of the project. Whenever we have a question or concern, they take action immediately. Also, they keep us informed and use Loom videos on the emails to show us what they’re talking about.

We communicate through emails, phone calls, and Zoom meetings, but the Loom videos have been helpful. It’s so much better than just having the printed word without inflection or tone.

They’re our partners; we’re not just another number to them. Outpace wants us to succeed, and we can see it in how they handle everything.

I don’t have anything negative to say. We’d definitely look at them if they offered other services down the road.

Be completely honest about what you need. They’ll give you great feedback, but you have to tell them your needs, past experiences, and goals. Moreover, you have to look at your ROI instead of the dollar. We’re paying more to Outpace, but we get what we pay for. With our previous company, we were paying nothing and getting nothing.
