We are a digital marketing agency that offers multiple services. One of the services we offer is SEO. Outpace white-labels their SEO for our business. This allows us to offer SEO to our clients without the extra cost of maintaining an on-site staff that implements the work.

We knew that people were searching for our customers online, but we didn't know how to get our clients to the top of the rankings. Outpace was hired for SEO - to get our clients to the top of the rankings.

We spoke with multiple vendors, but Outpace was by far the most expereinced. They have worked with clients across a wide variety of industries. We also have a variety of clients so we were confident they would be a great fit.

For each client they start with keyword research. During this phase they get an understanding of the vertical, the search volume, the competition, and the scope of the project. With all of this information, they give us a proposal and we get started with the campaign. It's a very organized process.

We currenty work with three members of their team. They have two SEOs overseeing our accounts and there is also a project coordinator that we speak with on a regular basis.

We continue to see our clients' rankings go up every single month. The clients are happy and we are incredibly happy. We are hoping to continue to get more SEO business so that we can outsource more work to their team.

Their team has done a terrific job of communicating with our team. They let us know what they need and they are always asking if the client needs them to focus on anything specific. Most of the communication is done via email, but every now and then we will jump on a call to go over more detailed topics.

We have worked with many SEO agencies, but Outpace is one of the first SEO firms to actually deliver results. It's such a relief to be working with an SEO firm that knows what they are doing!

2. They are incredibly detail-oriented and they will do whatever it takes to ensure their strategy is pointed at the bullseye.

Once the research was complete, we signed the contract, they redesigned the website, and we began SEO. Their team was incredibly organized and the entire process has been a breeze.

Month-over-month our site continues to see more and more traffic. In addition to increased rankings, they are also focused on increasing conversions associated with our website. We are currently in talks of expanding the scope of work with Outpace to generate even more results than ever before.

Outpace touches base with us multiple times throughout the month as they are working on our account. In addition to this, they also walk us through our monthly reports. It's great to feel like a priority.

The two things that we love about working with Outpace are their attention to detail and responsiveness. They are always brainstorming different ways to achieve even better results than before. It's been fascinating to see how such small changes can result in massive improvements. In addition, their team is mind-blowingly fast at responding to emails.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we transitioned one small account to Outpace and saw how the results looked month after month. Then, we continued to transition more and more customers over to them. They currently handle 100% of our SEO clients and facilitate all of our keyword research, which allows us to see where our customers rank and gives us an idea about the competition.

Right now, we’re hoping to land a national campaign. Outpace has done the keyword research, and we’re eager to see if the client approves the budget so we can move forward with their services.

What is the team composition?

They have one main project manager and an implementation staff team working on SEO behind the scenes. We’re primarily in contact with the project manager, but there are four people in total when we have meetings.

Right now, we’re pretty close to $180,000–$200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in June 2019, and we continue to send over customers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They send monthly reports, so we’re able to provide that information to our customers, which leads to an increase in retention. It also works well when we have biannual meetings with clients, and we can go back to the past six reports and show the huge difference across all those months.

How did Outpace perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team does a great job encompassing everything, touching base, and checking with us to see if we’ve missed anything. It’s refreshing to work with Outpace because they’re the ones reporting to us. They do a phenomenal job at staying ahead of the curve and getting results.

They rely heavily on Asana for project management, but they don’t share it with us. They’ve recently worked on a client dashboard, and we’re excited to see that. We’ll be able to log in and see our clients’ real-time analytics.

Our communication varies depending on if it’s an emergency. For the most part, 80% of it is via email, and the other 20% are meetings, and we like that structure. We try to do a monthly meeting to answer unresolved issues that we haven’t strategized over email.

Their focus really allows them to excel on behalf of their clients. They only do SEO, so they’re the best at it. Outpace is so focused on what they do that they’re able to stay ahead of the competition. They just keep their ear to the ground, and that level of professionalism is what makes them get great results every month.

Once a month, there is an update on all progress given in the form of a detailed conference call between both teams that lasts around thirty minutes each time- it's short enough for us not feel overwhelmed by what needs doing next without missing important details about where everyone stands (and vice versa).

The attention to detail that goes into every single project is second-to-none; they will thoroughly assess your website, analyze traffic patterns, test different variations then come up with a plan tailored specifically for you! The knowledge this company possesses when it comes to Google's ever changing algorithm can be intimidating but their experience makes them an important ally. These guys know exactly what needs to be done and what doesn't.
