They designed a user-friendly mobile app that helps users explore strains, effects, and dispensaries in an intuitive, informative way. Osmos also created an award-winning landing page using Webflow, featuring elegant animations and storytelling that captured attention across platforms like Mindsparkle Mag and One Page Love. Beyond design, Osmos led our go-to-market strategy, supporting app store optimization, SEO, and social media marketing to maximize reach and traction. Their involvement has extended into ongoing creative and technical collaboration, including marketing campaigns, content development, and product updates, helping position X-Shack as a modern, standout platform in the cannabis tech space.

I'm the CEO of Jetpack, a consulting company that helps startups raise capital.

What challenge were you trying to address with OSMOS?

We needed development and marketing services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We've worked with OSMOS on several levels, procuring their services directly for Jetpack and working with them on projects on behalf of our clientele. Some of our clients require development and marketing services, which we've coordinated alongside them. They have complemented our business strategy for those clients who use these services.

When we work with them, we provide them with a strategy that they execute in marketing and development. There’s a complete exchange of data from our side to their side. They analyze that data and understand the briefing. Then, they usually have an onboarding call or several onboarding calls between us, the client, and themselves. From there, they determine the project goals and implement a project management plan.

For the marketing side, they’re responsible for the creative assets. Their forte is branding, so they’re responsible for logo creation, website creation, messaging, and more. They’re also responsible for color schemes, layouts, and displays. For the development side, we provide them with general feature requests. Their development team then creates a complete infrastructure plan, including the tech stack and understanding of the actual process. We provide them with business requirements for an app, and they build the tech and set up the project management for it. We’ve done mobile apps for Android and iOS, SaaS, web applications, and platforms.

For technologies, they mostly use Webflow, but they also use WordPress and PHP. They also host and maintain websites and mobile apps.

What is the team composition?

On the marketing side, they have 2 to 3 people doing branding. On the performance marketing side, they have 4 to 5 people utilizing different channels. They also have a couple of project managers. In a typical marketing campaign, there are 8–15 people.

How did you come to work with OSMOS?

We found them through a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $750,000–$1 million in general and $50,000 to $200,000 average for each project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

From a development standpoint, tens of thousands of consumers and businesses utilize the apps, websites, and platforms the team has built. The products work according to the specifications, and they’re extremely efficient. Additionally, they’re very good at adhering to deadlines. The websites and the technology always arrive at or before the agreed-upon project deadlines, which is super important. There are very few bug instances because they do unbelievable QA on everything.

On the performance marketing side, we’re seeing upticks of tens of percentage points in downloads and purchases on their campaigns. From logo and website creation, the branding is aesthetically pleasing and speaks to the brand it represents.

Overall, OSMOS has exceeded our expectations and our clients’ expectations.

How did OSMOS perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very transparent. Having dedicated project managers on each one of these projects is super useful. This means there’s a very clear project architecture, the budget is adhered to, and the team exceeds expectations regarding deadlines. At least one project manager is involved in each one.

They use monday.com for project management and Slack for communication. They usually do a phone call once a week via Zoom, regular emails, and then Slack. They create an external Slack-facing channel for each one of the projects so the clientele can directly catch them whenever.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to give a shout-out to Eli and Devin, the founders. They are very strategic, try to do the best for their clients, and are genuinely passionate about what they do. You can sense it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re not just going about it based on the brief. They have very experienced subject matter experts in brand creation who utilize research instead of just look and feel for brand, logo, and website creation.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. We've had such a good experience with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come ready with the business output that you’d like to create. Map out what you’re looking for from a business standpoint. OSMOS will take care of the rest. If you have a very defined strategy, they can execute it from a marketing and development standpoint.

We've done multiple projects with OSMOS for our end client. For one of them, we needed them to do the marketing UX strategy part of the project. We've worked with them closely to understand the target audience. Te've worked to understand the current weaknesses of the old solution and competitors. They've established a brand identity, created brand guidelines, and implemented a marketing strategy. They also manage PPC and social media campaigns and design creative assets. Once they're done with that, we jump in and do the development part. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Laura, the Director of Operations; Eli, the Creative Director; and Devin, the Development Lead. It's a small agency, so I work with all the key people there.

How did you come to work with OSMOS?

One of my best coworkers worked with them previously and made the introduction. They were really professional and did a great job in the past, so we decided to give them a shot.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since August 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

We set certain KPIs, and the team has met them.

How did OSMOS perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is excellent; they met deadlines and stayed on budget. We've used monday.com and later switched to ClickUp. We communicate via Slack, weekly calls on Google Meet, and emails.

Osmo helped us develop our business model and brand from the ground up. Once that was complete, we pivoted to mobile app development. This included building an app for iOS and Android and developing an Ai model to help us differentiate. Once that was complete OSMOS works with us to market the app and prepare us for series A.

I’m the co-founder and CTO of a social commerce company. We have a community-powered platform that helps users find what they’re looking for with the support of the community.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with OSMOS?

We needed help with branding and a UX/UI audit. We had a version of the UI/UX ready, but we wanted to audit it and refine the design. We also needed help with logo and branding identity — we had the name but didn’t have the wordmark, logo, or website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

OSMOS audited our UX/UI and created a UI component library. I worked closely with Jade. We went through the design, and she identified areas for improvement and features that could be eliminated to keep it lean for our MVP. She designed a new user flow after identifying the user persona. We had calls to refine the user persona and flow, and she worked on the new design, including the medium and low fidelity versions. Meanwhile, Josh (Brand Designer) worked on branding, logo, brand identity, and brand design.

What is the team composition?

We worked with around four teammates from OSMOS, namely Eli, Laura, Jade, and Josh. Eli oversaw the project, while Laura set up our ClickUp and Slack accounts and coordinated calls with the team. 

How did you come to work with OSMOS?

I saw a post from Eli on LinkedIn and found him interesting. I checked OSMOS’ website and thought they were what we needed, so we set up a call with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $20,000 CAD. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement lasted from July–September 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

OSMOS’s work helped us save time, money, and resources. We had to explain what our company was and how we wanted to brand our platform. OSMOS’s first draft nailed it, and they were already 80%–90% there. We were happy with the quality of their work.

Jade was involved throughout the process, and we were happy with the quality of her work. The UX/UI design received positive feedback from those around us, which helped us move forward with what Josh and Jade presented. We researched the cost of hiring someone of a similar caliber to Josh and Jade, and it was slightly higher than OSMOS’s price.

How did OSMOS perform from a project management standpoint?

OSMOS was responsive, reactive, and proactive in delivering everything within the specified timeframe, based on our comments. We met on Zoom calls, exchanged information through emails, and had day-to-day communication on Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

OSMOS’s communication and quality of work were good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any. Although the work got slow at certain stages, they always communicated about it, which we appreciated.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have clarity about what you want to do and what your product is. If you go into the discussion with a brief idea, it can take you some time to get to what you want. OSMOS’s team won’t have the same efficiency if you’re not clear about what you want them to do.
