After launching our eCommerce portal we also determined we needed to improve our search results, keywords focus, organic traffic to lead conversion, referring domains and overall digital presence. We even brought a challenge to NP Accel as our 1concier.com main site is not the same as our eCommerce site, shop.1concier.com. 1Concier impressions are up YoY over 700%, SERP Features are up over 1,000 YoY and Clicks have improved 58% YoY. Key to our success is that active uses increased 160% over the last 3 months YoY and the number of Purchases improved over 135% for the same period. These results are moving 1Concier in a positive direction as it pertains to our digital marketing strategies. NP Accel also redesigned our main website and provided compelling suggestions for our eCommerce site, these will be implemented during 2025. When we started our work with the Neil Patel group, our organization was experiencing a dramatic dip in Organic site traffic due to some algorithmic changes in how Google crawls the internet to return search. This dip was affecting us financially, and we saw traffic dip from 20.3K Organic site visitors (November 2021) all the way down to 8.4K at the lowest point (June 2022). 

The team at NP has been fantastic to work with. Our account is managed by Keaton, and he has been a true team player. We worked first to optimize the structure and messaging hierarchy on our website as well as optimize the keywords there. In tandem, the team also worked to develop new blog content informed by trending/relatable topics and keyword optimization. The team at NP also engaged their network to assist us with obtaining backlinks in offsite content. 

With those three major initiatives combined, we have now seen our Organic site traffic back up over 20K people for the past couple of months. To put that in perspective of revenue, during the course of our initial one-year agreement, we saw a +12.8% net increase in organic site traffic that resulted in a directly attributable gain of +$203K in revenue. We also realized a +103% increase in clicks on non-branded terms, a +193% increase in clicks on our blog content, and a +38.1% increase in backlinks. 

In the final quarter (1Q2023) of our first-year contract (when things really started clicking...because this work takes time and ongoing maintenance), Sockwell saw a +51.9% increase in Organic site visitors and +$113K in Organic site revenue. As we enter our second year with the team, it is evident that the work they are doing is working. Sockwell saw lasting spikes in traffic, resulting in meaningful growth in revenue. 

We decided to continue our contract with Neil and our Account Manager, Keaton, into a second term. While the initial lift of site optimization is complete, it is important we stay on top of things ongoing. The investment in NP Digital has been overwhelmingly positive, and the results speak for themselves.

We have a marketing director from Adobe, and heard about NPD's name since they worked with Adobe before. Of course Neil Patel is really a big name. So we choose them, hopefully the price we paid worth it. (triple price compared with the SEO agency we hired before) At the time, we are trying everything to grow. So we made the decision.

• organic impression data grows about 3-4% SEO is a longterm play. They delivered a fair results as a SEO agency should do. But nothing beyonds, we probably could get the same results from a smaller agency with 1/3 the price.

They have a very standard playbook for the project, that being said, anything outside the playbook will cost your credit hours. The team they put on our account knows nothing outside of their playbook.

Means if you wanna answers or anything deep understanding or insights, you will need to wait their lead consultant to get a answer for you. The account manager knows very little outside of the playbook. BTW, they are old school, enterprise style communication, using MS Teams, a lot of management layers, a lot of people, very structured.

Nothing, as their services were a bit expensive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes. We are not a big account. They should have better and more professional team put into our account. Instead of just put their poor, playbook trained team into our account and deliver playbook results. Too poor team in startups with a enterprise level pricing.

Our email marketing was virtually non-existent. They created an email marketing program with funnels to bring in revenue. We're seeing impressions up 31%, clicks up 27%, sessions up almost 10% and we're in the slow season. We can't wait to see what our busy season will bring.

We had meetings for content strategy and email marketing once a month. They are always available for any questions and to keep things moving throughout the process.

NP Digital can meet all your digital marketing needs. They use a multitude of tools that your average small SEO agency just simply can't afford. This gives you some of the best insights and actions to take to move forward.

The startup process was really shaky, for a small company extending a larger amount of money, I'd prefer more organization on the front end. But in the long run, it all came through.

The blogs are further optimized by NPA before we publish them. I think those are two of the main topics.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since partnering with NP Digital, we’ve experienced some growth in domain referrals and our implemented keywords. Before we started the engagement, we ranked 438 keywords with none of them reaching the top three but by March 2022, we ranked 602 keywords with 13 of them reaching the top three.

As far as link building goes, I didn’t know what to expect going in, but I knew I wasn’t happy with what we were getting from our previous provider. NP Digital definitely exceeded our expectations and I’m really happy with their ongoing work.

How did NP Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We were able to clearly define what the budget would look like up front, so there won’t be any surprises in the development process. The team delivers their links within their timelines and if there are going to be delays, they communicate them with us in an appropriate amount of time.

We typically communicate through email and we would have monthly standing calls to keep everything up to date.

We’re highly impressed with the quality of their service and the links they build, as they provide great value for what I pay.

We hired NP Digital to help us improve the search engine response for our website, which we use for marketing our consulting services and selling online training to be an enterprise architecture. Their responsibilities include creating content for our blog, conducting keyword research, and optimizing our keywords. 

They started the engagement by conducting a technical audit of our website. They then performed market analysis to figure out what specific keywords we should attempt to rank for. This involved looking at our competitors’ sites, figuring out which keywords they rank for, and then developing a year-long strategy for the same set of keywords.

NP Digital also did some optimizations on our website, such as fixing our duplicate headers. I didn't even know what duplicate headers were, and it turned out that we had hundreds of them. They had to go through all the pages on our site to fix all of them.

When we started, our website ranked for 67 keywords. Now, it ranks for 2,600 keywords. We’ve also seen a 2,500% increase in our click traffic; we now see over four million clicks per week. In terms of the quality of their work, NP Digital has been able to pick up our niche and deliver great content for our website.

How did NP Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

NP Digital has performed well in terms of project management. They’ve been able to stick to the established budget and deliver everything I wanted. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with NP Digital’s expertise and professionalism. I also appreciate how they provide valuable insights about the keywords that we’re going for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They were a little slow to get the content writing going, so we had a little bit of trouble at the beginning. They took on a complete set of guidelines for a ghostwriter, but we’re a specialized niche, so we weren’t surprised that the ghostwriter had some trouble understanding what we did and what we needed them to do. Fortunately, they managed to catch up five months into the engagement.

We also have an online spreadsheet document, which we use to track all of their work. The problem is that they’re not really good at keeping it up to date.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about your requirements, and don’t be afraid to remind your project manager about them. Another important thing is to make sure that you do your part to make your project a success.
