I have used motionify for multiple website development projects and video production for various customers of mine. The last project was about developing a wordpress CMS driven website for a pharma client of mine. The timelines were pretty tight, and motionify helped me with the process of development within the specified timelines with utmost quality and satisfaction of my client.

The outcomes are highly satisfactory, we are happy with the animation and the infographics.

The team was very timely, responsive and efficient. They handled our suggestions and commentaries really well, always looking to fit as close as possible to our expectations.

I was impressed with Motionify's work considering the complexity of the topic. The complex nature of the subject caused some difficulties at the beginning, but everything was solved quickly and the product is up to our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Something to improve would have been to consider the targeted audience a bit better in terms of representation in the video. We addressed this point with Motionify and everything was solve in the end.

We were looking to hire an animation company to produce a video for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Motionify produced a 6–7 minute informational animated video. Initially, Motionify's team developed a script, but in the end, we utilized one my in-house team created. We were very particular about our voice-over and content requirements. Once the script was finalized, Motionify turned it into an animated video — their team handled all of the audio mixing and editing.

I worked closely with Saravanan (Co-Founder & Head of Creative), but 4–5 teammates were on several of our project calls.

The video Motionify produced perfectly communicates our organization's mission. We primarily use the video internally. 

How did Motionify perform from a project management standpoint?

Motionify was very patient and applied our feedback well, although our changes delayed our project. We typically communicated through Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was pleased with how patient Motionify's team was. We made many changes to the video throughout the project, but they accommodated us. Motionify's patience made my work a lot easier.

Motionify needs to improve the quality of their animations — their videos are good quality, but could be great.

We hired Motionify for multiple projects, mainly to help us with video production of SaaS product demo videos, product explainer videos, motion graphics animation and product feature explainer videos.

We wanted to work with a company that had prior experience working on SaaS products and who can interact with the client directly. We looked into their portfolio and their clientele. We selected Motionify because they matched to all our expectations. They understood the requirements and took the project to its completion smoothly.

The project involved Motionify to understand the client's design language, their product and their audience. The first step was to understand our creative direction, because we worked with the client for sometime. The second step was to storyboard the visuals. Then the voiceover script writing. Then the voiceover recording and finally the post-production of putting all things together.

We worked with Saravanan, who's the founder of Motionify. The feedback process was smooth and Saravanan and his team were receptive to our inputs, contributed with their own ideas and took the project forward diligently.

The videos Motionify did for our clients helped solidify their presence online and with lead generation. The client is using the videos Motionify did for us on their website's homepage and use it as their demo for their customers.

Motionify was agile in their project management. They assigned a resource who'd be available for us and the client all the time. Take our inputs and shared progress update. For communication, we used Google chat and email. For file transaction we used Google drive.

They came with a lot of experience working on video production projects. They understood the process and asked the right questions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Motionify doesn't own a studio. It'd be great if they did. Because it'd help clients to get the voiceover and music recording with them.

We wanted explainer videos for one of the brands I was working for. We had built a SaaS tool for the client and it was unique to us, so we wanted to explain how the feature worked through a video.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I wrote the script and they came back with a storyboard, which we went through together and I provided a bit of feedback on. Then, they made amends to it and worked with us until we were happy with the storyboard. From there, it went on to production, which they handled fully. All of the editing and post-production was managed by their team, including the animation and text within the video.

I believe I worked with one person from their team. 

How did you come to work with Motionify?

I think a sales email they sent to my boss was forwarded to me. I had a look at their website and decided to give them a call.

I believe we spent £750 (approximately $1,000 USD).

We worked together from October–November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were supposed to show the video at an event, but we didn’t end up using it. We had planned to use it but made a last-minute change. However, their service was great and the price was really affordable. Even though we were looking for something cheap and quick, the video and the animation were okay.

How did Motionify perform from a project management standpoint?

They used a video conferencing software and we had regular conversations and calls as needed. The project manager was clear about the schedule and whenever my input would be needed. We didn’t have any language barriers and they were always really responsive over email. From a project management perspective, they were great. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was initially concerned about communication barriers since they weren’t based in the UK, but we didn’t experience any problems at all. Service-wise, they were excellent. Quality-wise, it wasn’t amazing but they certainly delivered value for the money spent. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s difficult to say, but for the price we paid, we got a good value. If they raised their prices, the quality would have to improve, but I don’t have any criticism.
