Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Operations Manager at Ecomlight in Cape Town, I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the company. This includes managing and overseeing the production, logistics, inventory, and supply chain processes to ensure that the company runs smoothly and efficiently, while meeting customer demands and company goals.

Ecomlight hired Modern Day Strategy to design and set up a Shopify store for the company. The main goal of the project was to create an online platform for Ecomlight to sell its solar products, making it more accessible and convenient for customers to purchase the products.
Additionally, the Shopify store would help improve the company's online presence and reach a wider audience. The goal was also to create an easy to navigate and user-friendly platform for customers, with a focus on conversion optimization to increase sales.

I worked with four people from the vendor's team, Charlize, Natalie, Vincent, and Marcel during the project of designing and setting up the Shopify store for Ecomlight.
Charlize was the Solutions Architect and Shopify developer who was responsible for the website design, Shopify setup and customization, and integration with third-party tools.
Natalie was the graphic designer who was responsible for creating visually appealing designs, layouts and elements for the website. Vincent was the marketing specialist who helped with the marketing strategy, creating and implementing marketing campaigns, and analyzing and optimizing the performance of the website.
Marcel, the CEO, and Charlize managed the project, They were responsible for the overall project management and ensuring that all requirements were met, and the project was completed on time and within budget.
They helped with the planning, monitoring and controlling the project, ensuring that all deliverables met the required quality standards and that the project was delivered on time. It's worth noting that, the team may have had other people behind the scene that may have contributed to the project such as Quality assurance, Server administrator, etc. But those four were the main point of contacts.

The project of designing and setting up a Shopify store for Ecomlight has been a great success. The store is gaining a lot of sales and traffic, which is a testament to the store's good performance and design, as well as effective marketing campaigns.
The team I worked with, including Charlize, Natalie, Vincent, and Marcel, were excellent to work with, they provided excellent customer service and support throughout the project. They exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the final deliverables. Overall, the project has helped Ecomlight increase its online presence, reach a wider audience and generate more sales.

Modern Day Strategy's team employed a well-organized and effective project management style throughout the project of designing and setting up the Shopify store for Ecomlight. They communicated effectively and efficiently with me, keeping me informed of progress, addressing any concerns, and providing regular updates.
