Since getting our SEO efforts off the ground, we have seen many of keywords jump to page 1 for organic searches.

We had a monthly call in which we covered all of their efforts and progress as well as any challenges or needs on either side. Slack was a great tool to keep us connected between these monthly meetings. They also used Google docs and email to communicate and share materials between meetings.

We support a very niche industry, and oftentimes, third party vendors are not well equipped to help us as their might be a company with a broader B2B or B2C reach. I found it most impressive that MiroMind jumped right in and moved our rankings for multiple key words 100+ positions as if they were the subject matter experts in this field. You would never have guessed they weren't. They also provided great ideas for new content and even wrote some of it. Just a great team to work with as a whole!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I was very new to the world of SEO. I have learned so much, but I think having a little more education on the process and how things worked in the beginning would have allowed me to be a better client to support their efforts.

We make sure that we have proper keywords on the website and that we’re using such keywords enough times on each page. On top of that, we develop 6–10 new backlinks every month. The MiroMind team has also helped us with content writing and off-page optimization strategies.

When I was researching vendors, I wasn’t happy with big companies. I was a firm believer that 60% of what we paid them went to their pockets, while only 40% was actually invested. At the same time, I was a fan of UpWork and dealt with a handful of people on the platform. I interviewed a bunch of them and started giving them small projects. One of those vendors was MiroMind and Dmitriy, and I felt most comfortable with them. As a result, I hired them for this project.

Our collaboration has been helping us rank at the top of Google search. They use a lot of relevant keywords to help us get more leads.

Meanwhile, to measure success, I don’t let my vendors grade their own homework. I’m familiar with SEO and link building, so I know enough about such subjects to get in trouble. On top of that, I do all our PPC work by myself. Given that, I know when a vendor isn’t good or if they’re not on the right track. That’s how we’ve succeeded in the project.

MiroMind has done an excellent job when it comes to project management. We use various tools to communicate, including emails, spreadsheets, and documents. Moreover, our communications are fast and productive, considering they’re in Poland and I’m in the US. For the most part, they respond relatively quickly. We also use Trello boards where I manage our projects. Using these tools, I can be truly hands-on with them when it comes to website development and SEO.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive things about MiroMind are their experience and diverse knowledge. They always find solutions for any kind of need. On top of that, they’re truly reliable and helpful. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

While I’m satisfied, MiroMind can still further improve their communication process. I’m able to communicate with them through emails and Trello, but these things can be overwhelming for others who want to hire them. It will be helpful if the team comes up with a better way to communicate with their future clients.

It helps if you’re familiar with web development and SEO. In my projects, I use tools to keep vendors honest, such as Moz and Local Viking. A great part of my success is understanding what needs to be done and making sure everything’s on track.

How did Miromind perform from a project management standpoint?

Dmitri might as well be from the Midwest because he is completely reliable at the end of the day. When he says he’s going to do something, he makes sure that it gets done well and by the exact time he said it would be finished originally. His priority is always the customer.

We use Microsoft Teams as well as Slack to communicate with him and his developers. He provides a dashboard where we are able to monitor all of the statistics related to our SEO and the website’s performance in a variety of areas.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a real science-based methodology that allows them to try an approach, evaluate what is going well and what isn’t, and adjust specific elements in order to boost the performance from there. They are able to take all of the guesswork out of an incredibly opaque process.

Since SEO changes so quickly, they only thing they could potentially do better is to inform us more regularly of the evolution in SEO methodologies, but that doesn’t necessarily have a direct impact on their performance.
