We saw measurable improvements in both visibility and lead generation. Website traffic increased (particularly from search), and we also saw a clear uplift in conversions—specifically more users completing our “Get a Quote” enquiry action. Overall, Minty Digital helped bring in more qualified traffic and improved the effectiveness of that traffic in turning into leads.

Their project management was strong and well organised. Work was planned clearly, deadlines were met, and deliverables were shared on time with good visibility of priorities and next steps. They were responsive whenever we had questions or needed changes, and they adapted quickly to our feedback and evolving requirements. Communication was consistent and proactive, which made the engagement easy to run.

I'm the head of marketing at Salesupply. We provide call center and fulfillment services for e-commerce companies. Our mission is to enable online sellers and merchants to sell their products internationally.

Our founders were e-commerce pioneers and have ventured out on this path. They actually expanded into several countries and encountered several obstacles. At some point, they overcame those obstacles, one of which was communicating with customers in other countries.

At the time, they set up a system for their own online stores and found out among peers that there was a lot of interest in this system. Therefore, they opened up this system and created Salesupply. The rest is history.

Salesupply has been around for 15 years, and we have around 800 employees. We offer our call center services in 36 languages. Moreover, our fulfillment platform includes close to 25 fulfillment centers in three continents.

We’re running marketing with a small team. Our website is our most important channel to acquire leads, and one of the most important traffic channels to our website is organic traffic. Therefore, SEO is very important for us. Hence, we opted to hire an external SEO expert to help us out.

Minty Digital provided us with SEO services. Their work encompassed SEO to the largest extent of the work, including technical SEO and on-site optimization.

We worked with 4–5 teammates from Minty Digital, including the SEO manager and the content manager. My main point of contact was the SEO manager. The founder was also involved, but I didn't work with them.

How did you come to work with Minty Digital?

I found them through a Google search, proving they put their expertise into practice. Still, we issued an RFP, talked with 2–3 other companies, and ultimately selected Minty Digital.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Measuring success in SEO is always difficult. However, I noticed that, for the targeted countries, we performed better organically than we did before.

How did Minty Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We had some struggles regarding project management in the beginning. I come from an agency background, and although that happened a long time ago, I was used to a more proactive and eager way of working than the one I experienced. However, that background wasn't from an SEO agency.

Initially, we had to get adjusted to each other's expectations and way of working. I learned that SEO agencies work a little bit more in the background and a little less in the forefront. Those differences caused some friction in the beginning, but we ultimately solved that issue, and everything improved from there on.

Minty Digital communicated mostly through Slack. However, as part of that adaption period, we decided to include biweekly calls via Google Meet in our agenda.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really liked the opportunities Minty Digital found to create additional traffic to our website. Once they really understood our business, they looked for ways to make us capture more traffic. They provided us with different thoughtful ideas to target our services, which was great. For example, one of the industry verticals we're now focusing on is customer service for the fashion industry. Now, we're seeing that that page on our website is creating traction.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I've only worked with one SEO agency thus far, so I can't really judge Minty Digital compared to their peers. However, It would be great if they showed more productivity from the start.

Additionally, there's a thin line between user friendliness and readability for a website and SEO-optimized content. Every now and then, I had to step in and have them edit the content on important conversion pages because, although that content might have been better for rankings, I didn't want our readers to leave the page. Those pages were relevant, and the content wasn't user-friendly. Still, I don't know how other SEO agencies address those instances.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

For Minty Digital or any other agency you work with, show them that you find their contribution important and keep control of the project to ensure that you plan meetings the way you want them. Moreover, ensure that there's a nice way of working together.

We measure Minty Digital’s PPC campaigns’ impact on the click-through rates and conversion rates. We monitor that closely and make adjustments accordingly. Regarding SEO, I measure it through the relationship Minty Digital maintains with our content creation agency, which is always to a high standard. I also monitor our search ranking results, which are a combination of our SEO and PPC campaigns.

We have monthly meetings with Minty Digital. In addition to that, Minty Digital works very closely with our content creation agency, which meets weekly with me. If I need to schedule an appointment with Minty Digital, I can reach them, and they get back to me within 24 hours. Minty Digital is very responsive and communicates well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Minty Digital’s professionalism is excellent. I have a limited amount of time and need to work with companies that are responsive and knowledgeable. I have a sense of partnership working with Minty Digital. The team takes our project seriously and is flexible, suggesting improvements whenever possible.

Occasionally, there are resource constraints because Minty Digital’s team is busy, but I don’t consider it a big issue or weakness.

First of all, we had a meeting to let them know what our brand stands for and get a better understanding of our goals. SEO rankings are difficult to track on a company that has a wide scale, however upon starting to work with Minty Digital, there was definitely an increase in the number of links we could build monthly, and that highly contributed to increasing our DR from 80 to 81 in less than 3 months.

Minty is great at updating and reporting tasks and objectives that they are working on. We were able to arrange for them to adapt to use SEO tools that we prefer, and they went out of their way to adjust to our needs. Constant communication, and rapid processes.

Minty Digital stands out to us for their clarity over our demands and successfully meeting them. With other agencies we worked previously, there was a lag in communication, but Minty ensures to be there as an extension of our team in making sure to serve deliverables.

We highly value effective communication, as that gets tasks done quickly, and Minty perfectly excels in that area.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are still doing an ongoing project with them, and I could say there is not a single area I would ask them to be better at. I wish them to keep on being great at hearing out their clients, and offering to adapt to their criteria.

Minty Digital compliments us with their strength in technical SEO and PPC, which is where we are less experienced — it’s a good partnership. 

We once had a client, a startup on a modest budget, and they saw 6,456 active users in a month and 610 installations of the promoted app in two months. 

Minty Digital always comes up with good strategies for getting organic, relevant, and high-quality backlinks. They rely on automation and teach us how to get those backlinks naturally. We’ve seen positive results and are extremely satisfied with their work — Minty Digital exceeds our expectations. 

How did Minty Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is smooth — they are communicative, available, responsive, and timely. Additionally, they help us identify things that need attention to improve the bigger picture. We communicate via email for administrative matters, and we use Slack daily.

Misty Digital sees the big picture. They are able to combine their knowledge and expertise of SEO, PPC, and web development to come up with a comprehensive strategy to achieve higher traffic, conversion rates, and sales.
