Lionwood provided UX/UI design, its implementation and technical documentation.

They are very easy to work with on the project management side. They deliver on time and also go the extra mile in standing by their quality of work without bothering the client about little things. The team communicated very well and provided frequent reports about the project ensuring quality, summary of bugs fixed and traceability for a great project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Not only did they conduct an assessment properly scoping the work, they also delivered the necessary features needed for a complex analytics dashboard that integrated seamlessly into our application. The software team easily took up our git repo and was able to start working quickly, reduced bugs over time and were flexible enough to work with our timezones.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Lionwood.software could have done differently?

I don't score a 5 for Lionwood lightly, but I have been thoroughly impressed by this company and believe they deserve a top score. I intend to use their professional services in many other capacities as we grow our business and quite frankly, I will furthermore judge other consulting companies with the "Lionwood Standard" for what software projects should look like. I think they have room to use AI to help their development processes. New innovative tools like Gemini, Codex and Claude could significantly support their developers deploy code even faster.

These packages handle critical aspects of our year-end processes and product catalogue maintenance.

The decision was made to refactor the software using native Salesforce functionality which was not available at the time of initial development.

It was a very trusting collaboration. Of course, not everything in a larger project always goes exactly according to plan, but good cooperation proves itself in precisely these moments. The communication with the stakeholders was excellent, the needs around our software solution were well understood.

During the further development they were always looking for optimization and the best way to achieve revenue for all stakeholders, which in my opinion is an outstanding feature of the developers and the project management.

We have internally operating software primarily used to help our customer service representatives send reports to farmers managing dairy farms. The software aims to be able to manage and send out health values and statistics for our dairy farms.

Lionwood.software is updating our web-based application to address scalability and modernize the tech stack. We are moving to AWS microservices and ETL tools; we currently use a .NET core.

We haven’t rolled out the modernization effort yet because the product is still in development, but we’re hoping that it will help us in our goal of scaling.

We haven’t been thrilled with the initial project managers, and the project has taken longer than we thought it would. However, this is something that we’ve actively been trying to resolve, and we’ve recently been assigned a new project manager. We’ve also added a technical project manager to help ensure estimates are accurate. We use the Atlassian suite of products and Slack for project management.
