LinkGraph designed and executed a custom SEO strategy for us that included consistent high authority link building, content creation and optimization, as well as redesigned our website. 

The website design and development portion of the engagement was complete within the first 90 days of us working with LinkGraph. The goal of the website design was to elevate the overall brand aesthetic and increase engagement for our readership. As a part of the development process, LinkGraph identified and resolved several technical on page issues that were impacting our websites ability to be crawled by search engines. 

Once the redesign and technical items were completed LinkGraph began a monthly SEO campaign that included on average 10 new backlinks per month from a wide range of authoritative publications. Additionally, their internal editorial team reduced between 4-6 new blog articles on our behalf to target high value keywords in our industry. 

Lastly, our internal team has been using LinkGraph's SEO software (SearchAtlas) to improve our internal workflows and accelerate our own content production. Overall we have been very happy with the strategic guidance, creative and support that the LinkGraph team has offered us over these past two years.

• An increase to our overall site authority, improvements in engagements from our readers (newsletter signups), and we were able to earn more revenue through Ad Sense. 
• LinkGraph also helped us better leverage our affiliate marketing strategies to earn more referral sales from our partners.

Most of the deliverables were tracked in real time through our customer dashboard (Search Atlas) but they also set up an Asana board for us to track the design and development sprint. For any ad hoc request, they set up a private slack channel for my team and I to streamline communication.

Their data-driven approach to growing our audience and their transparency with all of their services kept me engaged.

Considering that we are a content marketing publication, LinkGraph doesn't currently offer an affiliate marketing program. They were able to provide us with great advice on how to approach this channel as well as introduce us to some of their partners but it would have been great if they had in internal solution for affiliate marketing.

I’m the director of outreach at a lead generation company. We own over 100 insurance websites that offer consumers free insurance quotes that direct them to the provider. Providers pay us for those leads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We sent LinkGraph a list of the pages to which we wanted to build links. Then, they decided which pages to focus on and made a list of the sites they’d build links to. Once they got links to those pages, they put them in a spreadsheet to track the links they got each month. It was all organic.

We worked together from February–December 2021.

How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?

In the time they worked for us, they got 300 links. We weren’t impressed with the quality of their work.

How did LinkGraph address the challenges that arose?

We met with them, and they tried to explain what they could and couldn’t do. I had to explain what the first person told me they’d do and the metrics and standards we were expecting to meet. We had to have two meetings to go over the problems. We kept asking them to improve the quality, but nothing changed. 

Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.

The links we got from them were good, but they weren’t the quality of work we’d hoped for. We expected the keywords to rank better, but the sites they worked on didn’t have enough traffic.

How was project management handled?

Project management wasn’t good. The person who started our contract handed it over to someone else. When they gave it to the new person, they didn’t review any of our agreed metrics. Then, we were handed to another person, so we got a lot of handoffs that created a lot of confusion and frustration.

Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?

One of the people we worked with was good; she addressed many of the issues and started cleaning things up. However, she’s not with them anymore. She left while we were still working with them.

In what specific areas can they improve?

They need to improve their communication with their clients. Also, they should put the things in writing to know what they agreed to do. If they cannot achieve certain things, they shouldn’t agree to it.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

Come up with clear standards of what you want and have them in writing so you’re all on the same page. If a new account representative takes over, meet with them immediately and go over those metrics to help the transition. Technically, we shouldn’t have had to do that because we were the client, but since they won’t do it, you need to request that meeting.

We are a women-led business and we manufacture hands-free pumping bras and nursing bras for breastfeeding mothers. I’m the CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with LinkGraph?

We had a lot of potential in the market, but we had not invested in SEO. We brought in LinkGraph to help us in this aspect.

What was the scope of their involvement?

LinkGraph began with an audit of our website and current rankings. They defined what targeted keywords we should use and started building backlinks to our site. We also conducted a site speed analysis, after which the team did a lot of technical fixes for us without getting rid of any of our essential applications or functionalities.

One of our applications, Klaviyo, was not notifying our customers when products were out of or back in stock. LinkGraph stepped in to make sure that it was back up and running. They also resolved an issue with our Google Analytics since it wasn't properly measuring shopping conversion. 

Right now, we're focused on constantly optimizing our web pages.

We're working with four people from their company. Joe (Account Manager), our initial main point of contact, has passed us over to Kennedy (Account Manager). There's also Dennis (Developer) and another specialist who took care of our Google Analytics.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website’s speed has exponentially increased and our Klaviyo application is now fully operational thanks to LinkGraph. We can now send email notifications to our customers and ultimately collect revenue. Our search traffic has also doubled since October 2020.

Overall, LinkGraph has helped us in our efforts to compete in the market. The maternity industry has gotten increasingly competitive in the past two years, what with bigger brands like Spanx and Nike going into maternity wear. We were in desperate need of a company of their caliber, and we’re really grateful that they’ve delivered.

How did LinkGraph perform from a project management standpoint?

LinkGraph’s project management is fantastic. Whenever I have a question, they'll give me a timeframe of when they can get back to me. They always meet our set deadlines and respond to me fairly quickly, if not right away. I’ve never had to chase them down for answers.

Their transparency with their services distinguishes them from other providers. I feel comfortable whenever I give them a payment. They are the best third-party agency I've ever worked with in terms of professionalism, and I could go on and on about how great they are to work with.

LinkGraph is really good at guiding clients on what best strategy to take. They’re great at managing everything, but do make sure that you have deadlines in place and that you participate in follow-up meetings with their team.

One of the best thing about their service is, they have their own tool (which they're upgrading as we speak). From there you can see graphs, evolution, the status of your orders etc. But other than that, we communicate with them via email and they're super agile and fast.

Their follow-through and willingness to support us in matters that aren’t directly related to our contract with them, but where they have the specific expertise and we don’t. Their professionalism while being familiar and approachable.

Their dashboard/tool. But I've already seen screen captures of the new one and it's going to solve all the areas of improvement they have on that front.

The tool they offer is a big plus: it offers features we'd have to pay extra for in ahrefs. It's also nice to have a dashboard with an overview of what has been delivered, is in progress and is next up.

We are a family owned eCommerce online store. I have a 20 year background as a software engineer and my wife has equally impressive background in finance, web design, and art.

Transfer our booming Etsy store traffic to our privately owned website in order to minimize Etsy overhead fees. We knew the traffic and customers were out there, because they were buying from the Etsy store, but we couldn't get anyone to notice the private site.

Jon Fish and the Team at LinkGraph provided education, guidance, expert level assistance, and state of the art tools to allow us to identify and repair several issues with the SEO on our private site.

The Team provided articles, website copy, and keyword guidance that elevated our standing in Google search results to top 10 for over 30 keywords relevant to our business.

This is still a work in progress but as of this posting our website traffic is up over 4,000% over this same period last year and our sales totals are up 1,800%. We have become a force with which to be reckoned within our market thanks to the LinkGraph Team and especially thanks to Jon Fish.

Jon and I spent a great deal of time going over the SEO basics with Jon explaining in patient detail what SEO even is, how it works, and ways to improve it. During these discussions Jon took extra care in showing me how NOT to do it and was able to guide me safely past several pitfalls of which I was not even aware.

Jon's Team was able to help my Company secure dozens of quality, long term backlinks with a focus on not just improving traffic today but in creating a solid, long term foundation that will grow in the future. Jon's input was also instrumental in showing me how to manage the on-site SEO Keywords and to focus traffic into specific funnels within our website.

Our Company routinely lands on the first page of Google search results relevant to our market. Our Shopify store is now in the top 4% of stores that launched in the same week that we did and we are consistently meeting or exceeding our projected sales goals.

I am very confident that none of this would have been possible, especially within such an incredibly short period of time, with the guidance and support of Jon and his team.

Since using LinkGraph, I've seen our overall keyword ranking raise higher and higher. When I asked about some very difficult keyword terms I wanted to rank for, he made it clear it could take some time but they are happy to do it.

Sure enough, it's a very hard set of keywords to rank for but the results are kicking, decently well. Not bad since we've never attempted to rank for those keywords and they are extremely hard to rank for.

They use both an online portal to view results and pay for invoices but at the same time, I get random emails with updates on progress... Like I said earlier, one of the best companies I've used so far. If you want ACTUAL DELIVERABLES, LinkGraph is the way to go.
