Team Composition: Is providing one Senior UI/UX Designer, one Technical Leader, one Senior Developer, and one Developer to create a culturally relevant design and robust application.

UI/UX Design: A culturally tailored UI/UX Figma design package, including sketches and technical specifications, completed and approved by June 30, 2025.

Minimum Viable Product (MVP): A functional Flutter-based mobile application for iOS and Android, scheduled for release by August 31, 2025, including core features: user profiles (with customizable fields for interests and preferences), basic matching algorithm (based on user-defined criteria), real-time notifications (for matches and messages), and user verification (via email or phone).

LEOBIT CONSULTING OÜ is managing Penx, a Tanzanian dating app, with an efficient approach. A dedicated communication lead organizes meetings, shares immediate minutes detailing task assignments and timelines, and ensures clear communication via Slack, allowing the technical team to focus on development. All deliverables, including the UI/UX Figma design (completed March 31, 2025, two months early) and the MVP (expected mid-July 2025), are ahead of schedule. Invoices and transactions are prompt, with time tracked for budgeting. Complex technical aspects are simplified for clarity.

As far as I have worked with leobit in my Penx Project, I have not noted any area that neeeds an improvement

We needed support to develop the mobile apps for a smart home platform that was mission-critical to our company.

Leobit is developing the mobile apps for our smart home platform. The team is using Flutter to build the app, and they’ve implemented features such as:

- Device telemetry for energy consumption, humidity, temperature

We’ve worked with approximately five teammates from Leobit.

We found Leobit through connections with some of our employees. We chose them because we had a good initial interview, and they seemed like they had strong technical developers.

We started working together in August 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Leobit's work, we’ve been able to launch our product in the market, and we’ve seen user adoption and stakeholder investments. We have over 10,000 users and smart home devices live in the field, and the number is growing every day.

How did Leobit perform from a project management standpoint?

Leobit has been good to work with in terms of project management. The project has had difficulties and challenges, but working with them has always been direct, honest, and good. The team has been a pleasure to work with, and they’re strong technically on the mobile platform. We communicate via Slack and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Leobit has been able to work how we wanted and accepted our style of work and communication.
