I’m the treasurer for an elementary PTA and have been in this position for four years.

What challenge were you trying to address with Karana Audio Visual Services, LLC?

PTA hosts monthly events with parents, and they helped us with event production.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re responsible for event production, making sure sound and production are good for movie nights, our annual talent show, and more. 

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with Jose (Owner & Partner) and Annabelle (Owner & Partner).

How did you come to work with Karana Audio Visual Services, LLC?

They have children at the elementary school, so we met at a PTA meeting. After they spoke about their services, they seemed like a perfect match for these projects. 

How much have you invested with them?

The PTA has spent a total of $5,000–$6,000 with them.  

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since October 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Each year their talent show is better and better. Parents have said that the show feels like a professional-level television set because of the hard work and effort the team puts into production. They go above and beyond with their projects while working with us to make sure that their work fits into our budget.   

How did Karana Audio Visual Services, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great about working together as a team, and communication is always open. We find them accommodating and knowledgeable. The PTA always has a great experience working with them. No matter our budget, they always make our projects run beautifully and better than we expected.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work ethic drives them to do their job well and make sure that we’re happy as clients. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take advantage of their strong communication skills. They want to see your vision and get input, so be open about what you’re looking for. They will make it happen.

Showcase our hotel's ability to operate safe meetings in a physical distancing environment.

Once connected with Karana, we described our needs, scheduled a walk through and the shoot itself.

Anabelle Roman was our main point of contact. She managed a seamless process throughout.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video product was amazing, and we now have a great tool to share with our customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Karana worked seamlessly with our team from beginning to end.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with every aspect of our interaction with Karana. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it, and the end product was better than we could have ever hoped for.

I could not find any area for improvement. Karana handled everything flawlessly.
