Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the General Manager of Dean Publishing and Production where we help people share their stories through a book, online course and more.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Jasper Picture Company?

We hire The Jasper Picture Company for multiple services. We use them at our retreats to film our guest speakers, use them to live stream speaking events and webinars, filming of marketing material for both our company and our authors. We have most recently used them to produce and edit our online course content for our authors, producing professional and clear modules for our clients to use within their online courses and memberships.

What were your goals for this project?

We use these marketing videos to be seen as the professionals in our services and these allow us to show our clients what is possible if they use professional services to film their marketing and courses rather than just a smartphone.

We also show them the possibilities of live streaming from stage rather than on a chair in their office. By sharing our knowledge with our audience, they can see what is also possible for them. We use these videos on our website, membership site and as marketing on Google, YouTube, Social Media campaigns and more.

We found The Jasper Picture Company a few years ago and haven't looked back.

We have used the company for multiple videos as described above. The process usually involves a discussion of what our outcome is for the day, and from there, the team at The Jasper Picture Company suggests the number of cameras, any extras such as teleprompters, hand help camera, an additional film member to ensure the end product is exactly what we need.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We usually have a discussion before the day of filming and after we finish filming. We discuss our outcome for the day and what we need filmed, and following the filming we send through a list of videos we wish to have edited. Generally we get the edits back and are happy with these as The Jasper Picture Company knows our branding and message we like to get across and are all over what our expectations are.

It is great to know that we just ock up on the day of filming, film what we need to and know that when the editing process begins, we don't need to spend hours discussing what we want, but instead knowing that we can hand them the editing and it will come back to us meeting all expectations

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have launched marketing campaigns, membership sites, live streamed events etc. and have made multiple sales through people watching these videos and live streams and wondering how they too can film and present their message the way we have. We can honestly say that without The Jasper Picture Company, we wouldn't have the clear message and quality marketing videos we do without them

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We are always in communication with the team on exactly what we want and always leave feeling as though we have a clear deadline as to when our content will be complete. We usually film either half or full days, and during the pre-filming discussion we feel as though we know which option to go for to ensure we maximise our time and minimise our costs. I feel as though our company can reach out to the team at any time with questions and any work we require.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are always blown away by the knowledge and suggestions we get from The Jasper Picture Company. I feel as though they know us so well know that if we have a marketing campaign that we are wanting to launch, they can work with us in creating the ultimate campaign. They have filmed so much B-roll and content for us that even if we send them a voiceover or ask them to give us a campaign, they can usually supply us with something quickly and of high quality and exactly what we envisioned. 

They are also up to date with all new and innovative ways of filming, for example we were able to use them throughout the Coronavirus lockdowns to livestream our retreats, events and more, seamlessly and professionally.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The company always knows what we require, however, we have recently worked out a few ways of improvement such as emailing the team straight after filming with a list of the edits we require, as well as supplying them with a calendar invitation and sheet filled out of what our filming day requires prior to them arriving.

We are a full service content provider who engages the Jasper Picture Company to film all of our content. These have included videos for web, social media and TVCs.

What were your goals for this project?

We are always producing high end content, and Matt and his team are highly proficient, professional and always provide us with beautiful imagery and content.

How did you select this vendor?

Kine Graffiti has been established for 30 years and is a family run business. It's important for us to always work with like-minded and trustworthy people who fit our company ethos. Matt and the team are the perfect fit for us.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Before a shoot we will have a meeting with Matt and his team about the look, style and objectives of our videos. On shoot day his team are kind, professional and enthusiastic. Matt has spent many years on set and works with clients and other suppliers wonderfully.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

When we hire Matt it can either be him alone, or he and his team (1 - 3 people). After we shoot The Jasper Picture Company will hand over all footage for Kine Graffiti to begin post production. If we require assistance, Matt will be there to help in any stage of the production process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We continuously get positive feedback from corporate clients who have loved the way Matt has filmed their videos. Certainly since working with Matt we can offer more services, incl. live streaming and photography. Using Matt and TJPC has allowed us to pitch for more dynamic work.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective. We have had no issues working with Matt or his team. We don't use a workflow manager, but we haven't needed to when the communication from both teams is very clear.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

That they align so closely with our values. We want to work with suppliers who have strong morals, who like to do pro bono charity work, who care about the environment, and someone who is excited to make content. It is always a pleasure working with Matt.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not at this point in time.

I am the proud owner and founder of Assembly Yoga. We are a yoga and meditation studio in West Footscray, Melbourne.

Our studio is closed due to COVID-19 so we needed some online classes filmed as well as general content for web and socials.

What were your goals for this project?

Film 3 stand alone classes and some short marketing clips to engage our community.
