IT Geeks took my vision and turned it into a real life website. The work they did is comparable to moving a brick and mortor store from the subburbs to right down town mainstreet. They transformed my website from being very basic and rather clunky to absolutely beautiful, expremely customized and very functional. 

They redesigned my entire website, added chat features, optimized the SEO of my store, customized a subscription app to meet my businesses needs, rebuilt my quiz and made it much more functional. They optimized my menu, the organization of my aritcles and added really strong and strategic upsells. All around, they improved my store by a million.

Everything we had hoped for happened. Conversion rates are higher, the average cost per order is up and customer retention is already better.

We have an application that is exactly what we wanted and every step of the way they answered our questions, took our calls, and changed everything we requested as we discovered what needed to be tweaked as we went.

Everything was delivered in a timely manner, all emails were responded to quickly, all requests for a call were scheduled immediately. If our project manager was going to be out of office, we got an email several days before to warn us of this fact so we were prepared and knew who to contact if we needed to.

The goal was to redesign 3 websites

1. Re-design our homepage, Collection page, and product page
2. We needed a custom calculator for our product page
3. We needed a better product filter for our collection pages.
4. For our B2B site, we needed a landing page for customers to login or sign up.  We also needed a custom testimonial section for company testimonies.
5. We needed the pricings of our carton products to have custom square foot pricings that dynamically puts from number of square foot in a box with the pricings.

• Tasks were organized using Kanban cards, which were moved to the "done" column upon completion.
• After each task was completed, we received a demo or preview of the final product to review and approve.
• We held weekly meetings to provide updates on current tasks, review completed work, and discuss any issues causing delays.

During the initial meeting, the project was estimated to take 45 days. However, the actual completion time extended to 1 year and 3 months across all three sites. While the project managers demonstrated exceptional skill and knowledge and were capable of handling any request, the delivery times were inconsistent. I had the opportunity to work with several project managers. The most recent ones were particularly diligent, consistently staying on task and delivering their work promptly.

I was impressed by IT-Geeks' exceptional skill and knowledge, very talented and can handle any request.

Are there any areas for improvement or something IT-Geeks could have done differently?

• I believe that adopting an agile approach and dividing the projects into Sprints would enhance delivery times. Adapt the agile process to implement weekly sprints, allowing clients to consistently monitor progress.
• Additionally, communication could be improved. When issues arose with the first two websites after publication, the project manager was unresponsive to messages.
• Pay close attention to small details and proactively address minor issues, rather than waiting for the client to request these changes.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
It's beneficial to have a clear vision of how you want your website to function and look. Conduct some research, explore other websites, and share examples to give the developers a better understanding of your preferences. They are skilled and knowledgeable and can bring your vision to life. If you don't have a specific idea, they can create mock-ups and build the website from scratch.

Adam helped us implement a checkbox system to let customers have the option of adding a free tote bag to their order, whcih would translate onto the packing slip of our orders. This way we do not waste the tote bags or give multiple to customers who do not need one. 

We also needed to integrate a statement onto our Aftership returns app stating this and that if you return your whole order, and keep the tote bag you will be charged for this. This involved creating custom code for the app and the shopify basket.

Our product is complicated, customizable with over 10K SKU's it is very challenging. We needed to show our product in a way that makes it easily understandable for the consumer, a dealer, a designer etc.. They only way to achieve this was via Metadata. ITGeeks designed a custom product that is used for all our products. The many levels of variants and options was made possible to display all the proper info when variants change.

For anyone to comprehend our product and to have the ability to lay it out in one meeting is remarkable. We were afraid that this was never going to happen as someone had to grasp what was going in order to produce anything. That alone was what sold us from day one. To be able to complete the work in a timely manner shows their ability to maneuver through many types of services that they offer. These two factors is a measure for success in our eyes.

The communication throughout project was stellar. Our project manager was fantastic in communicating and answering our questions, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The project was delivered on time which was huge. There was a mutual respect of each others time and an understanding of requests that were being asked. It was a pleasant experience even knowing the amount of work involved.

Again, comprehending the scope of work was so important. Communication as well. Both could not have been any better. Everything flowed, how they showed us with video on how to do certain things, always keeping us updated where and when things will be completed.

Always room for improvement. Nothing major just tightening up on certain things is all that needs to be mentioned. Yes, communication was impeccable but maybe a little more explanation with a little more detail in certain areas where things get a little more tricky. Metadata is new to us and very powerful. Just took us a little while to comprehend how it all went together. Answering each question directly I would say is helpful when there is lots going on. This was done most of the time. There were a few times we had to really comprehend the answer if there were multiple questions being asked. All in all they did an amazing job.

We were looking for a company to work with that could help design and bring our new company website to fruition and we were pleasantly surprised by the work that IT GEEKS did for us. They built that sight on Shopify for us setting up hundreds of products to be sold through our ecommerce store. 

It was a very complex project with many moving parts of building a retail store website from scratch and throughout the whole experience they were very communicative and responsive to our calls, feed back and questions. They were able to deliver a professional looking website that has the ability to scale up as we scale up.

We went from having no website presence of our own to having a complete store now that makes us very excited to see how the future shapes up and how we may be able to reach more customers through soical media and other non-traditonal media.

What I found most impressive about this company was how eager they were to make sure that you were happy and that your needs were being met. They had much patience and were keen on giving good advice especially if you were not sure on a certain area of expertice. They really were personable and made you feellike you were working with a great teammate.

Below is the scope of UX changes we needed made to our code within our new Shopify theme. IT-Geeks delivered everything quickly and ahead of time. They are strong communicators and they always ensure the final product is exactly as I wished for before they wrap up their work. They are not afraid to continue to go back and get it perfect before they complete everything. I appreciate that. 

1. Ensure that the top navigation bar remains sticky in the header without converting to the mobile header while scrolling. 
2. The top navigation bar will now smoothly collapse to the mobile header as soon as it can no longer support a single row, providing a more responsive user experience. 
3. The "Four Easy Payments with Shop Pay" section will be relocated below the product description copy block on the product page. 
4. The image thumbnails will be moved to the left side of the main image vertically, aligning with the current theme's layout. 
5. We will incorporate your custom fonts throughout the entire site, following the copy headline and paragraph sizes from your existing site for consistent font usage. 
6. The "Powered by Shopify" attribution in all footers will be removed to create a clean and branded footer design.
