Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
We initially worked with Inverita on our own in-house app marketplace. Our company outsourced development to Inverita to build a web app for creative professionals. An iOS version of the app already existed, and together our task was to create a responsive web version with additional features.
Further down our partnership, we also were tasked with the development of software from our own clients, which we then went back to Inverita for IT staff augmentation. This included the development of ed-tech software for universities here in the UK.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m one of the co-founders and the COO of Pick a Pier, a marina reservation software company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with inVerita?
We needed help with web development and QA for our platform, so we were looking for an extension to our development team.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
inVerita acted as an extension of our internal development team, working under our guidance. Their team helped us with backend, frontend, and full stack development-, as well as with QA. They mainly used React as part of the technology stack.
What is the team composition?
We worked with three people from their team, including two frontend developers and one QA engineer.
How did you come to work with inVerita?
We were looking for a team to which we could outsource development tasks. We had a mutual contact from a previous company we worked with.
How much have you invested in them?
We paid about $10,000 per month, so we spent approximately $320,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from December 2019–July 2022.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were very happy with inVerita; they were very professional and did a great job working as part of our development team. Working for that long was a good indicator of how well they performed. Unfortunately, we had to cut down some expenses, so we decided to stop our collaboration — it had nothing to do with them. If we were able to continue working with them, we would have.
How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?
inVerita’s project management was very transparent, and we got what we wanted from them. We had no surprises with invoicing or other things because they communicated clearly and managed everything very well. That was why we kept working with them for that long.
inVerita’s resources were part of our team, so they joined our daily routines. For example, they participated in our daily and weekly meetings on Zoom. Additionally, we used Slack for communication and Trello for task management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
inVerita was a fit for us on a personal level. When we interviewed their team members directly, they were very professional, nice, and devoted to their work, so we really wanted them to be part of our team. Moreover, they were more collaborative than the average outsourcing company.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was one employee from inVerita with whom we weren’t satisfied. However, we told them we wanted to change this resource, and they were able to put someone else in place.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would definitely recommend trying them out. We were very happy with the collaboration.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO of a new SaaS company building a b2b logistics platform
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire inVerita, and what were your goals?
InVerita was hired from the very beginning of this new venture. The goal was to do a comprehensive Discovery phase and come up with detailed designs and requirements, so we could budget the project and begin the implementation.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I have over 25 years of software development and project management in both startups and fortune 100 companies, so I knew what I was looking for. I selected InVerita after researching many full software development houses. My criteria was a reputable vendor with proven track record of developing complex software platforms from the ground up, that used a proven software process model. I was also looking for a company with deep business, design and technical expertise with competitive pricing. I spoke and met with the Orest and his partners and felt confident they would deliver.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The Discovery Phase included interviews with customer and staff, full business analysis, use cases, user role definition, workflows, UX/UI, stories and granular product requirements, platform architecture... The deliverables were extensive and included Miro boards, high definition Figma wireframes, a full UI-Kit, a Work Breakdown Structure spreadsheet, a 70-page Requirement Specification doc itemizing all user stories formatted as Jira tickets, multiple technology investigation papers, user interview reports and surveys, as well as a budget and plan for the implementation of the platform. InVerita is still heavily involved with the UX/UI and development of the platform.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
InVerita's built a team of 5 people to work on this project, including project coordinator, Business Analyst, UX/UI senior designer as well as another designer, and a senior/lead developer-architect
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
InVerita's work was very high quality and complete. They built the blueprint for our project, and it allowed us to validate our business plan and raise significant funds to pursue this venture
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
There was no issue with the communication. They kept us on schedule and within the budget. Very happy with their work, and the client-partner was very impressed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
InVerita has developed a strong and deep internal team that covers all aspects of a software project lifecycle. They follow a modern and proven development process, which can easily be ported from team to team as long as they are also well-trained in the Agile methodology. They drove all meetings with professionalism and quickly became a respected integral part of the team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not really. They are a great team.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the owner of the company
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire inVerita, and what were your goals?
We had problems with the management of huge number of patient data while working with numerous internal and external healthcare specialists. Email communication used to be lost, many tasks overdue, timely response from the team lacking. Our goal was to aggregate all necessary information about patients in one platform and to create a communication portal for efficient management of our patients.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Recommendations from friends
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They started with roadmaps and visual communication. Later first technical solutions were presented. All tasks were completed in demo environment and once confirmed with me the results were transfered to test environment.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We started wth 3 staff members, now there are 7 or 8, the number or people depends on how fast the client wants to advance.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The project is not finished. It is in the testing phase but everything works well in the testing environment. We are already benefiting from the new patient management system and saving both time and financially.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They've never broken any timelines. We communicate through Jira and video calls.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The communication is on a weekly basis and includes all necessary team members.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Can't answer this now since the project is not finished, so far so good.

inVerita is developing a multi-module healthcare software to track fertility treatments between providers, nurses, patients, and pharmacies. There will be a connected mobile app to aid in communication.
Currently in a beta stage, the software inVerita is developing has progressed smoothly along established timelines and budgets. The vendor has displayed standout technical ability and offered an effective price point. Customers will find a partner that develops strong understanding of their goals.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a fertility specialty pharmacy. I’m the COO.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with inVerita?
They provided us with custom software development.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’re building a custom healthcare fertility software. It’s patient-centered, where we connect fertility specialists, nurses, the pharmacy, and patients together in one platform to create a cohesive treatment plan to ensure the patient has a successful fertility cycle. The software includes multiple portals, one for health care professionals, one for patients, and one for our company.
inVerita is also building a mobile app that acts as a learning software. Finally, there’s a logistics application that allows us to schedule and track shipments. Additionally, they’re building a clinical module that allows us to track patient well-being and monitor their progress along their injections.
One of the biggest features is being able to track inventory and be proactive in ensuring patients have enough medication to complete their cycle. We’re in the beta stage right now and will launch in about one month.
They’ve also handled all the design work. We communicated our vision and requirements to them and their designer created wireframes in Figma. They’re also going to work on keeping the app secure with its confidential nature.
What is the team composition?
I don’t know how many developers there are working exactly, but there are at least 12 people on every call, including a project manager, a business analyst, a designer, a lead developer, and a project lead. There are 2–3 backend developers and 2–3 QA resources assigned currently.
How did you come to work with inVerita?
They were recommended to us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $200,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since June 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have any specific metrics, but they’ve been timely in developing the project. There haven’t been any major delays as we work through our bi-weekly sprints. Everything has been going as planned.
How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very responsive. We’ve stuck to our timeline and our budget — especially compared to prices in the United States. Because the scope of the project has increased so much, the budget did increase a bit. There was a bit of back and forth with one of their teams when we didn’t see eye to eye, but we squared that away quickly and continued moving forward.
We communicate over emails, Confluence, and Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We change our minds a lot, and they are flexible, changing the work on the fly to incorporate our fluctuating ideas without sacrificing our time limits. Additionally, they’re good at giving suggestions, taking initiative, and improving our processes.
Their talent stands out as a highlight. I’m not sure if this is their first project in the healthcare field, but they’ve asked the correct questions and displayed an impressive thought process throughout. What we’re doing has never been done before; they understand what we’re picturing in our head. We parted ways with our previous vendor because they couldn’t understand what we were envisioning.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This isn’t an issue currently — it only was in the beginning, but they corrected it — but there were a lot of assumptions early on. They would build a piece of the software and then we would wonder why they built it that way, as we didn’t describe it like that. We’ve already addressed this, but they shouldn’t be afraid to ask questions.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open and keep a straight line of communication going, as they’re good at responding and meeting customer needs. Give them as much information as possible.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
Our company is a leading provider of highly scalable development and DevOps solutions designed to deliver dynamic development, intelligent testing, risk management, and boundaryless collaboration. My role is Vice President of Engineering for Methodics, a division of Perforce. Methodics provides semiconductor industry-leading IP Lifecycle Management platform
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire inVerita, and what were your goals?
Methodics IPLM web application required significant re-architecture as well as focus on quality in user experience. The goal was to extend the small in-house team with InVerita team in order to achieve roadmap goals for the product and deliver value to customers sooner.
SOLUTION
How did you select inVerita and what were the deciding factors?
We searched for web developers in SF Bay Area in a very competitive hiring environment. Methodics was a small start up company at the time and competing with major Silicon Valley firms on top talent has proven to be exceptionally difficult. We have reached out to InVerita for help. After interviewing multiple candidates, we quickly identified the top talent that the project required.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Scope of work included ongoing development against roadmap items, including new features, bug fixes, major and minor enhancements. In addition, we had a goal of transitioning from an outdated Javascript framework (AngularJS 1.6) to a modernized stack based on Vue.js framework.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A total of 6 engineers, including 3 web application engineers and 3 QA engineers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Team has been able to successfully deliver on product roadmap goals as well as greatly increase product quality and modernize the technology stack.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Methodics uses scrum-based agile methodology. The main project management tool is Jira.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Very impressed with quality of the talent. The team has been exceptionally productive, with great attention to detail and quality. Continues to work incredibly hard.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Had a few minor issues with pre-screening of candidates. This was resolved by improving the pre-screening process.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of a custom software development company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with inVerita?
We were looking for very high-quality software deliverables, with good-sized team capabilities.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve done a couple of different projects with inVerita. We’ve done mobile apps with the team and we’ve scoped custom websites together. The team has also provided us with staff augmentation resources. We’ve worked with their software developers, graphic designers, and quality assurance testers.
We’re currently working with them on a project for one of our clients who needed resources to assist in meeting a tight deadline. inVerita provided two resources for the project, a QA analyst and a software developer.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with a variety of people, including the COO.
How did you come to work with inVerita?
They were very experienced in multiple different software disciplines and development stacks, so we vetted them for a bit and they seemed to be a great fit for the partnership we needed. They seemed very professional, genuine, and trustworthy.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $50,000–$200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since October 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We gauge their success on the quality of their deliverables, and whether or not they’re providing from a services standpoint. As inVerita builds products for us, they meet the industry standard that we want to provide to our customers.
If there’s ever something that doesn’t meet our expectations, they’re very quick to jump in and change it.
How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?
Overall, their communication is great. In terms of deadlines, inVerita usually meets them, but sometimes we ask a lot of them and it can get pretty tight.
We have meetings, phone calls, and emails to stay in touch. They also provide us with status updates on a daily basis.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The character of their leadership is most impressive. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with them, and they’re downright great people.
From a business perspective, inVerita delivers. They haven’t scaled beyond their means; they’re still providing high-quality services. They take their company values very seriously.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re very used to being able to deliver on most things they do. However, I think they should add a little bit of caution before they say yes to certain deadlines.
It doesn’t really affect me negatively, because it’s tough to put deadlines on the work we do, but I think they could improve there.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They do big projects well, but they do small projects well too. Give inVerita an opportunity to show you some success, and they’ll deliver.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO of a fintech company. We provide software in the investment management space.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with inVerita?
We were looking for someone to help us with IT development.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They are one of the main providers that we use in terms of developing the features of our system. It is a web-based platform with .NET core on the backend and Angular on the frontend. We do our hosting on AWS.
We started from the beginning with them, from design to the delivery of all the features. They continue to improve the features as long as the business needs evolve. It is a web-based system with a username and password and access to a different set of features. Many modules are available, and it is a mix of due diligence features, CRM, research management, and workflows. It combines different types of business needs within one single platform. It has a lot of configuration and flexibility around how users can use different features.
What is the team composition?
There are 10–12 people in total. We have a project manager and one lead developer. Under him, there are some back- and frontend developers.
The CEO from inVerita is involved in more of a monitoring way and not 100%, which is normal. My main need is around the developers themselves, but the CEO is involved whenever needed.
How did you come to work with inVerita?
We have been working together for over two years now, and I can’t remember exactly how I found them. I think I knew the project manager from a previous company she worked with. I asked her if they would be able to do certain tasks, and they showed a good level of professionalism.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them around April 2018, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I think so far, so good; I don’t have any complaints. They have a bunch of smart people who work quite hard. I think the quality of the development and the methodology they use is quite good, which is why we are still working with them after two years.
How did inVerita perform from a project management standpoint?
I think they are good. Based on the pressure we put on them from our side, they have performed quite well. It isn’t an easy mission for them, taking into account the amount of pressure we put on their team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I am most impressed by the key team that I have. There are four core members who are quite smart and committed to the project. Whenever we need them to work after hours or over the weekend, they are there. They are quite dedicated and flexible. Their flexibility and reactivity are quite outstanding.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I cannot think of anything right now.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s always about the core team. They have a team of 80–100 people. I don’t know about other clients and their experience, because every client will have a core team. The team that works with me is good. We assess the different members, and if there is someone who isn’t performing or if we have doubts, we will replace them. That is something they are open with and address quite quickly. They are trying to maintain a high level of quality across the team. It isn’t always easy, but I think we have been addressing it quite well together over the last couple of years.
