Marketing lead for a video game company. I am responsible for sourcing resources to fit the needs of the ads we want to create.

For what projects/services did your company hire Intangible?

We wanted to try using actors along with a professional studio to see how a polished story of people playing the game impacted the KPIs. We did not have the immediate resources (equipment, bandwidth and expertise) to execute on a project such as this.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal for the project was to have a finished product that allowed for us to repurpose it in many different ways.

After conversations with a handful of different vendors, Intangible became the obvious choice as Vladimir was both empathetic and understanding of our business needs along with being able to drive maximum value.

Creative storyboard and ideation, location and talent sourcing, complete control of filming/directing, video post-production.

What was the team composition?

I am unsure of the exact number of people involved in the project, but the final product definitely indicated that it was a crew of very talented individuals.

The results have exceeded expectations and we look forward to continued work into the future.

The workflow felt very organic, able to bounce ideas back and forth to hone in on the core goals.

I found that their patience with walking us through the process, outlining expectations and ability to accommodate/give effective suggestions was very refreshing.

Honestly, for our first experience with them, everything exceeded expectations from A to Z.

We are a small startup with a social curation platform. I am the co-founder and CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Intangible?

We had an idea of what we wanted our customers to do when they visited the platform, and we needed to explain that idea in a short amount of time. We hired Intangible to produce an onboarding video.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We brought our ideas to them of what the process should be, and they held our hands through each step. They produced a professional-looking video that still incorporated humor and amazing visuals. Our voice comes through clearly, and the video accomplishes everything we hoped to achieve from a business standpoint.

They wrote out the script, which we approved, then they tackled the visual aspects. There was a full day of shooting, followed by graphic additions to the footage. The final product is brilliant, with a running time of just under three minutes.

My primary contact was the founder of their company.

How did you come to work with Intangible?

One of my co-founders worked with them before and liked their work. We considered a few companies, but a video they produced for another campaign aligned perfectly with our vision. We felt they’d be a good fit and decided to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost was around $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in 2015; I don’t remember the exact month. The whole project was completed in a matter of weeks.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to the video they created, we saw an increase in every key metric we targeted. There was a 67% increase in conversion rates, plus improvements to signups through the site, and boosts to both site traffic and average length of visit. The video helps explain our whole platform and its features, and offers good information about our value proposition.

How did Intangible perform from a project management standpoint?

Everyone on their team was easygoing, polite, and knowledgeable, and their process was streamlined and effective. We never had to wait for them, and we always knew what was happening in any given moment. They provided drafts and confirmed each step with us. Throughout the timeline, they were always in control, but we maintained a two-way conversation and had full agency to make changes. That allowed us to take ownership of the entire process and get excited about the final product.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really enjoyed their professionalism throughout the process and the great end result they produced. Everything was well-structured and controlled, and they did a phenomenal job. We never had any problems with their service or the deliverable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They were so flexible, and I don’t have any recommendations for improvements. Any issues we encountered were usually due to personal design preference, but they always made the changes we wanted.

I am the principal UX designer for AutoFi. We’re a platform for dealerships to provide customers with end-to-end financing and leasing online.

We engaged Intangible to create videos that explain our platform’s process to dealerships. We needed them to be customizable depending on the potential client.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted our partner dealerships to use our video to describe how our platform works. This would limit how much money and times dealers would spend trying to convince their customers to use our purchase method.

I had worked with Intangible previously where they had done outstanding work. I felt that their team would bring us similarly great results for this project.

We had a general vision of what we wanted but lacked a script and fleshed-out specifications. Intangible helped us write the script, build the storyboard, and then animate and produce the video. We worked closely with their team to provide assets as needed and give feedback at critical stages. Several feedback stages took place to ensure the final product came out perfectly.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We worked with a director, an animator, and the voice over talent.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Intangible’s videos are an integral part of communicating our value to customers. Every dealership that partners with us uses the videos on their website to promote our process. Many dealers have even become inspired to create more marketing material to build upon the videos’ success.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had clear communication throughout the project. I consistently felt on top of what was going on and what we still need to do. We worked closely with the director to establish milestones for feedback. I felt particularly satisfied with the feedback process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Intangible set high standards for themselves and took extra steps to deliver the best possible products. Other vendors I’ve worked with tend to do the minimum to meet requirements and require a push to get higher quality work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, I can’t think of anything. We had a great experience working with their team.

I’m the VP of client strategy for BEworks, a behavioral economics consulting firm. We bring scientific thinking to the business and policy worlds to help leaders make evidence-based decisions that change human behavior. We’re a team of scientists and academics that help businesses approach their challenges in a new way. I’m responsible for client relationship management, business development, and marketing.

We employ a large team of social and cognitive scientists, and we needed help telling their stories: what their backgrounds are, why their work matters, and how it can help businesses and policy-makers approach their challenges. It would be difficult to do this without the power video, so we brought on Intangible.

What were your goals for this project?

BEworks was acquired not long before this project, and we needed a personalized way to introduce ourselves to our new parent and sister companies. We wanted to share our vision and expertise with them.

How did you select this vendor?

Intangible came highly recommended through a colleague. After looking at their projects and speaking with their head, we know they would be a great fit.

Intangible took a bottom-up approach. They familiarized themselves with every detail of our business, process, and vision, as well as our clients’ and partners’ needs. They created a detailed scope of work, which provided us with work-back dates and touchpoints, and scheduled their shoot dates within our chaotic schedule. During the shoot, they made everyone feel welcome and did a fantastic job at disarming some of our more camera-shy associates. They asked for feedback and kept us involved the entire time.

We had a single point of contact for all our needs. They provided us with ample opportunity to give feedback and kept us updated on their progress throughout the project. They turned our feedback around quickly and made any adjustments we required, offering us several versions to choose from.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video helped our partners and clients gain insights into the incredible talent and knowledge behind our success. People compliment us on our work and passion, which the video conveys. We’ve also shared the video with outside audiences to spark interest in our process and methodology, as well as to help clients and leads better understand how science and business can go together. Since then, we’ve started to work with Intangible to create an onboarding documentary series for new associates.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked directly with the founder. He made the process extremely easy and satisfying. Because they got to know our business so well, we never felt like we had to translate our science.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only were they extremely efficient and a pleasure to work with, but they seemed to truly care about us achieving our goals. They paid great attention to detail and offered tremendous guidance throughout the process.

We hired Intangible to help us create a 3D video for the launch of our new Boiler Relay as part of our smart home line of products.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal for this video was to guide installers through the commissioning process of the Boiler Relay.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected the vendor through a word of mouth recommendation.

This project was a challenging one due to the fact that our teams are spread across continents. We worked with Intangible to create a storyboard. We sent phone cam videos and product images to them and they created a wonderful video that will be seen by millions of users.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We revised the storyboard several times before we began work with the input of the vendor. We even had to revise scenes after production began and Intangible were very accommodating.

The video has not yet been launched.

Very effective communication ensured for effective workflow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We received outstanding service. Vlad is very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. He worked with our changing storyboard and timeline. We are very happy with the way the video turned out, and are looking forward to kicking off our next project with Intangible!
