The work involved reviewing existing apps and suggesting the best way to update them and add new features. The first milestone was building apps from scratch, as they were developed long ago. For the second milestone, it was decided to use existing apps and add new functionality. After building the required functionality, Perfsol helped us publish apps to Google Play and Apple Store.

Deliverables encompass adding new features into a Custom CRM, mainly for our web version but also for mobile apps, iOS and Android. For the backend was used Python and for the frontend React. The platform was carefully designed with architecture, scalability, and security in mind, resulting in a fully functional and deployable solution ready for production release and managed on the AWS cloud.

For what projects/services did your company hire Indeema Software Inc.?

The project was not very large in size but has challenges that needed in-depth customizations. For this contract, Indeema provided additional resources to update existing iOS and Android apps, as well as management resources to lead the developers.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

We've been working with Indeema for a while and needed assistance with updating a mobile application for the entertainment industry. Indeema has prior experience in that industry, and their development processes are well-established, which is why we chose them.

We worked with Indeema to connect with the relevant people and update the existing App. They started to update the apps for iOS and Android after we approved the quote and timeline. The update of the application consisted in improving the existing functionality.

The project also included the development of an admin panel, which allows application administrators to manage configurations, settings, and content. Indeema began by creating backend data models, admin, and APIs and adding them to the admin panel.

The app is popular in the United States, and after updates, it received even more downloads. It is now easier to use and has more functionality. The results have exceeded our expectations, and the app is extremely well-developed.

We worked together remotely, using Google Hangouts for our scheduled standup meetings and Slack for daily communication. Wireframes and designs were hosted by Figma, and we used specialized Indeema templates to manage project documentation. Thanks to this effective yet convenient setup, no information is ever lost.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's because of their professionalism. Indeema has well-defined procedures that start with the Requirements phase and then move on to the regular SDLS phases. At the same time, they are very flexible and consider any requests from the clients, making them easy to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It can take some time to grasp the big picture, and it may be difficult to express what the customer is thinking. It's a minor issue, and I'm sure it's common when you start working with a new vendor. However, the more projects you work on together, the easier it is to understand each other.

The Indeema team assisted with the following aspects of the project: firmware fixes, admin panel and mobile app updates, product enhancements, and support. Indeema is professional and met our requests to investigate differences between out-of-the-box firmware and source code, add and test battery reading functions, and resolve issues with the firmware update and calibration in a timely manner. They took over our existing product and are still developing and supporting it. Indeema also investigated existing Back-End, Front-End, and AWS code, as well as Admin panel UI issues.
