What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

A lot of the work we’ve been doing is in the background. We haven’t launched anything to get direct results yet, but they've been outstanding.

They’re great; they give us weekly reports, and we can talk to them whenever we need to without waiting for a response. In terms of tools, we use Slack, Google Meet, and Trello.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have expertise in giving advice; we were a bit unsure of some of the stuff we were doing with them, but they've been able to guide us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — it’s been a straightforward project with no mishaps.

Make sure you give them all the information and that they’re plugged into your systems and project management boards. Also, be available to answer questions for them.

Incrementors redesigned our website to make it more user-friendly. They worked on the website’s content, look, feel, and layout. The team also handled the metadata and other things not usually shown to end users. 

So far, they’ve also been creating guest posts for us. Their resources help us build profiles in various places on the internet to help us increase our domain authority. On top of that, they’ve worked on our paid ad campaigns. The team uses Google Analytics and other tools for keyword research and planning.

The number of our website visitors has increased, and more people are filling up our forms to get discussions going. Overall, our visitors and leads have been steadily increasing over the past months.

Incrementors’ project management is great. Our main point person knows what he’s doing, and we work well together. We use Google Spreadsheets to manage our engagement; to communicate, we mainly use emails and Zoom calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I only have to deal with one person from their team. As a result, that person is highly familiar with what’s happening in our organization. Simply put, our contact person truly understands the job at hand — that’s what I enjoy about working with Incrementors.

It would be nice if they have a partner to write our content. We don’t use Incrementors for that since we want local firms to write content for local audiences. Given that, they can maybe have a US partner that can help them bring that service to the table.

When working with service providers like Incrementors, always have a jointly documented goal. Then, keep checking your progress based on that goal, which should be objective and numerical if possible. Review your goal weekly or monthly, and agree upon it early in the engagement.

In less than a month, a client's domain authority score has increased by seven points. They've also seen a 25% increase in traffic, so the client is quite satisfied overall.

What I like about Incrementors the most is that we can work together as partners. They advise us on keywords, and we collaborate on the entire process. The team has really provided excellent solutions.

Everything's been perfect so far. Each quarter, we plan for the next three months and set goals for each month.

Incrementors Web Solutions worked on web editing and enhancing the recipe contents we had. They focused on website content and SEO.

We worked with 1–2 people. We had a main point of contact, and another person did a lot of the content.

We found them on Upwork. I use that network to contract work, and that’s how we started working with Incrementors Web Solutions.

It was about $175 a week, so we spent between $1,500–$2,000 for the project.

We worked together from August–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t seen any immediate results, but that was expected. Typically, even if you make dramatic changes with the content, it may take anywhere from 3–6 months to see any tangible results in terms of traffic.

However, in terms of the quality of the work, we were definitely happy with them. I think it’s a matter of time before we start to see fundamental differences. Moreover, we were satisfied with their SEO knowledge, and they were specifically good at working with our WordPress plugin, WP Recipe Maker. They demonstrated a lot of proficiency and were able to set the recipe cards and get the best SEO out of it.

How did Incrementors Web Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

In terms of management and moving the project forward, they were punctual and responsive. We didn’t have any complaints. Whenever we had a new request or if we needed some changes, they would always respond within the hour or at least within the same day.  It was very easy to communicate with them, and they outlined clear guidelines on how they’d do the project.

We basically used Upwork, and I’d check their progress on Google Sheets. It was pretty straightforward; there wasn’t any need for any complex tools. We communicated through emails and the chat on Upwork.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They definitely stood out for their responsiveness. Other agencies can have long delays before we hear back from them, and it might take anywhere from 3–5 days to get a response. On the other hand, we could rely on Incrementors Web Solutions. They’d get us an answer — if not a solution altogether — within the same day.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only issue we had was with the language barrier. It was evident that they’d translate to English, and sometimes it didn’t make sense. If they’d had a native English speaker for projects, they’d probably do a lot better in that regard.

However, it was a minor thing — it didn’t impact the project in any meaningful way.

If you have any specific preferences or demands, they’d be more than happy to accommodate them.

Incrementors always meet deadlines; when we set meetings, they are always present. They go above and beyond with explanations, and they have a lot of figures and files for us to review.

We communicate through Discord, and we use Google Meet for meetings. They send us weekly emails with all of the figures and updates.

Incrementors really understood our company, and they are super flexible about our goals. 

As a startup, we don’t have the huge budget that other companies might have — it’s a balancing act all the time of what we’re going to be able to afford to do. Despite that, Incrementors has been very flexible working with us. They meet our goals and give us good advice on how to maximize our budget.

Sometimes, I need to ask for simplifications and explanations for terms outside of my expertise.

Educate yourself, and ask a lot of questions about how SEO works. Make sure you have clear expectations. SEO is a long-term goal. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about what certain things mean and what their impact will be. 

Make sure you understand what the work is and why it’s important. If you don’t break it down, you might not realize the meaningful gains you’re already making.
