I’m the founder and CEO of PiliLokal, an e-commerce platform specifically designed for Filipino handcrafted products. We started our business in 2020, and we’re currently expanding nationwide. Additionally, we’re trying to expand globally, currently tapping into the US market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Incrementors Web Solutions?

Since we’re an online platform, we were reinforcing our online presence through marketing efforts. As part of these efforts, we required help with SEO, both for our own online presence to reach other merchants and for our current merchant network so that they could improve their online presence as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Incrementors is helping us with our SEO; their task is to optimize our platform for our customers. During this process, they’ve recommended strategies to help us rank the website higher on search results. Additionally, they’ve done some backlinking work to increase our site’s credibility and our merchant’s credibility as well.

Currently, we’re focusing on sales conversion, which is one of our priorities. Once we establish our business in the US, we will also use them to optimize our US site.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Incrementors has improved our site and ranked it higher on search engines. We still have some improvements to make because we’re not getting any revenue; we’re still trying to break even. However, I’m confident that they’ll be able to do them.

Incrementors is very responsive. Although we work remotely, they communicate effectively, which is very important for me as a business owner. Additionally, they’re very flexible in terms of payment. Their team provides me with monthly reports about the progress of the project to see the impact of the recommendations and strategies that my team has implemented. We communicate via Slack, WhatsApp, and email. Our collaboration is completely virtual, but they’re still very professional.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Incrementors’ work quality is impressive — they know what they’re doing. When they joined, they were able to pick up right where my former SEO vendor left off and provide us with great recommendations and strategies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although Incrementors has done a great job, it’s time to step up our strategy and focus on sales conversion, which is what I’ve been tasking them with. However, it will take a different approach to do so because our business is very intricate. Still, I’m looking forward to seeing what they can do for us.

I am the CEO of Code Galaxy. Code Galaxy provides online coding and technology classes for kids of all ages. We offer weekly classes, camps, high school bootcamps and tutoring for kids. We also partner with schools to provide their coding electives or after school programs.

We interviewed a lot of candidates to find the best fit and when we spoke to Amit, we realized that he's the one to take our SEO to the next level. We needed someone who is senior, can manage our SEO team and can help with our strategy.

We laid out the strategy, which was specifically to review our current SEO practices, fix any errors on the website from SEO perspective, start wiring guest posts and increase our backlinks. We also put Amit in charge of completing city pages for over a 100 cities.

We have started ranking on the first page with 5 keywords and have significantly improved our SEO health score. Our DA has increased by 10 and overall we're using better practices.

I’m the marketing director for RoverPass, a software tech company in Texas. We provide a software solution to companies in the travel industry for RV park and campground owners. Our team provides them with reservation software and other features. Beyond that, we have a marketplace where we put the properties that we work with; it’s an online booking platform that lets campers find and book RV sites.

Because we work with hundreds of campgrounds and RV parks, we have a ton of web pages on our marketplace. These web pages have followed similar structures, and we’ve found ways to cut the time it takes us to get the pages up and running to make our clients happy. 

However, we run into a lot of SEO issues; if we make a mistake on one page, that page can get duplicated a hundred times with different content. At the same time, we want our pages to show up on Google and Bing searches to increase our organic search traffic. 

As a result, we’ve hired Incrementors to do an in-depth site audit and help us fix our SEO mistakes. We also need them to help us tackle errors and put together a quick plan to ensure that we’re following the best SEO practices as we continue to grow and change our templates.

Incrementors initially audited our website. They put together a comprehensive document for us. It reviewed information about the website, such as site speed issues, missing pages, wrong links, and descriptors that weren’t properly optimized. 

The team ranked those issues based on their difficulty level, helping us know the most important errors to fix. We then transferred the document to our development team, which worked on tackling issues in chunks and improving our website performance and on-page SEO. 

From there, Incrementors has helped us get started with link-building. We’ve begun using additional SEO strategies so that we can update and change our web pages in a way that provides a better experience for our campers. The team helps us ensure we’re incorporating the best SEO practices within new web pages.

The person was prompt and easy to get a hold of, so he was able to answer plenty of our questions. He was highly independent, so I gave him a quick brief of what we were looking for and the issues we were facing. From there, the engagement started.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our overall site performance has jumped up to an average of 20–30 points, and there has been a reduction in load times — we’ve been able to stabilize our page ranking. As we finish up the SEO edits within the next three months or so, we should start seeing a greater rise in ranking and overall organic search performance. 

Given that, I’ve been highly impressed with the work that Incrementors has provided. They’ve listed everything incorrect about the website, and they’ve made the process easy to follow — everything has been set up in a clear manner.

Moreover, they’ve listed everything in order of importance. As a result, I’ve had clear expectations on what changes we can make by tackling the biggest issues first. I’ve been able to spread the work out over time within my development team’s schedule. Overall, it’s been a smooth process.

Incrementors’ project management style is great. We mainly communicate through Slack. Our contractors are on that platform, so we have an easy way to send messages back and forth. Apart from Slack, we use emails, Google Documents, and Spreadsheets. 

In terms of timelines, the audit has taken time to finish due to the sheer size of our website. Nonetheless, the team has done exactly what they’ve promised. Overall, everything has been sent to us promptly; their resources reach out to us and give us updates as they go along the process. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their vast technical knowledge is their strength. The fact that they can work based only on our basic brief is a big deal. I understand SEO and can put together a basic strategy, but we need them when it comes to diving deep and figuring out errors in our code. I rely on their technical and industry knowledge, and I put our web pages in their hands to get the best results. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, Incrementors doesn’t reach out to us until their task is finished. As a result, I often need to check in with them and ask how things are going. It’s better if they can provide us with small updates from time to time, especially when it comes to larger projects.

Give incrementors a basic idea of the project. The more information you can give them in terms of where they should focus, the better the results you’ll get. Make sure that you communicate back and forth, and know your needs a bit more — this will help them with their work.

I’m very particular about my site, and I have someone on staff that takes care of it. My home page was bleak and didn’t have much going on, so they helped us come up with some ideas for our specifications.

I was able to onboard a job from someone that found me via a web search for the first time. They’re driving tangible business through my website. I hadn’t gotten a job from my website in over five years before this. Looking at our targeted keywords, I have a far stronger presence on search engines than I used to.

How did Incrementors Web Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

There aren’t any real deadlines with SEO, as it’s an ongoing project. I gave them an initial project and budget and then expanded their tasks.

We talk on Skype and Upwork, and that’s really it. I don’t have a lot of time to talk to people so I try to hire people I trust to work on their own, and Incrementors has excelled in that situation. I don’t have to micromanage them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They communicate regularly. We have a weekly meeting where they go over what they plan to do each week, which is impressive.

The job I got will pay for four years of their SEO services.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything to criticize. They sometimes need my approval and I have to stop what I’m doing to address their messages, but that isn’t a bad thing. They need to be able to do their jobs.

Follow their lead. I hired them because they had the best proposal, and I’ve been somewhat passive. Maybe someone who was riding them harder could get more out of them, but I don’t’ feel the need to, as I’m already seeing tangible results.

Incrementors has gone through all of our web pages and helped us with keywords, phrases, meta descriptions, headings, and title tags. They’ve optimized the content for the keywords we have while also researching what our competitors are doing to rank. 

Moreover, the team has developed public-facing content. They provide all information on a spreadsheet, which we use to add content to our website. Currently, we don’t have any backlinking efforts, though they’ve proposed to do it for us. We’re considering it and will probably engage Incrementors for it.

I’ve worked with two people from Incrementors; initially, I communicated with a sales consultant, and once we agreed on the terms of the engagement, they sent me over to their SEO specialist. I’ve since been working with only one person from their team.

It can take many months to see SEO results, so we currently have no success metrics yet. We have our fingers crossed that our SEO performance will improve; we won’t know until after a few months. 

Meanwhile, Incrementors’ presentation has been great. They’ve done a great proposal and sent us a report telling us everything that’s wrong with our website without any fee. Simply put, they’ve done a good job of reviewing the website.

Incrementors has done well in terms of meeting deadlines and staying on budget. To communicate, we use Skype.

They know what they’re talking about and have a good knowledge of the industry. On top of that, their detailed proposal is free. Everything I’ve done with them has so far been pleasant; they’ve been on time on everything that I’ve requested.

No, there aren’t any.

You don’t have to be knowledgeable about SEO, but make sure that you have a web developer that can implement changes for you. If you don’t, you’ll have to give Incrementors access to your website so they can implement the changes — that will incur an additional fee.

For SEO it's way to early to report any impact being my goals are ROI and only 30 days or less in. But my reports show less errors or penalization using ubersuggest then previously ran. Additionally as we worked we found load time issues I was able to read of Krishna reports and improve them exponentially which has an indirect impact on my end game, ROI.

We created a google doc with a 50k snapshot of all task, each TAB has different elements. For example the 1st TAB is ALL MY BUSINESS LINKS AND INFORMATION  gets pushed to google my business etc... giving us both a consistent reference for each market we enter. TAB for KEYS for each page, with columns for each pages suggested keys, current keys and modified keys with all data points we track. This document is reviewd, commented and tracked when we meet.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The individual Krishna who i'm working with is hard to come by these days. They are very determined to deliver what I want, and they pay close attention to detail and do what you set out to do without fancy and unnecessary presentations. That said a performer, not a talker full of fancy slides and exactly what I look for in a long term partnership.

Incrementors was able to successfully launch one of our websites in just under a week. They generated the content for the specific cities and states from what we provided and even improved the performance of a page for us.

They’re taking a bit of a long time to fix this one website that’s riddled with bugs, but they do show me daily progress and send me a report of all the issues they’ve resolved, which is a lot.

Incrementors Web Solutions is able to take each of our goals and work towards them professionally. They communicate with me openly and go above and beyond to solve a problem.

We typically interact through Upwork’s communication tools and email. I tend to send visual maps of our projects, just so the tasks are easier to comprehend.

I like their personable approach to the project, and the effort they put in to try and understand our needs and expectations.

They took it upon themselves to create a staging website so they can transparently show us their progress — they don’t just develop the project, they verify each step to ensure that we’re not wasting any time.

I measure the project’s success based on weekly reports and by looking at the site. I’ve scanned the platform using Ahrefs before engaging with Incrementors, and we’ve had 7,000 warnings and errors. Incrementors has reduced that to single digits. 

We also have good numbers in terms of backlinks, organic search rating, and domain authority in just one month of working together.

Incrementors does great work when you’re not hovering over their shoulders. That said, they deliver what they commit and can be relied upon to work autonomously. We use Slack, Google Docs, and Google Sheets to collaborate. It’s easy to communicate with their team, and we’ve had no issues.

Incrementors’ execution is impressive. Their addition to our team has been valuable. They don’t need any help figuring out how to do their job. They deliver and execute their tasks, and we’ve got the results we’re aiming for. They have my 100% trust in our projects moving forward.
