Xerox Holdings Corporation is an American corporation that manufactures and sells print and digital document products and services. My role at Xerox is to function as a Financial Controller and Analyst in their Manufacturing Department. We augmented a team of software engineers from Ideators and I am the focal person in this project from Xerox.

Our recruitment department for Manufacturing Unit was in search of dedicated software engineers and programmers for months but still, we were not able to bring a team onboard, specifically as per our requirement and talent demand. After being recommended Ideators by one of our peers (a firm in the Xerox family), we decided to take their insights and services overview and see how they can be helpful.

The primary reason for the selection of this service provider was their previous work and reference in our peer company. The other reasons involve the availability of the desired resources, long-term commitments, and flexible agreements to tailor our requirements at any stage of the contract. Their overall work and experience seem to be quite competitive and demonstrated their excellence in their skill and servicing.

We initiated the project with a project briefing meeting session with our internal stakeholders (all bodies involved who could be part of the project, directly or indirectly). This phase lasted for around a week, followed by a Services Requirement, and Budgeting Session, held by Ideators after they collected our insights and business requirements. Once we had the set of requirements on the table, we got the number of software engineers required for the team building to carry out our project.

After we decided on the number and structure of the software engineer's team, we quickly reviewed the portfolios and profiles of some existing software engineers, who were ready or soon to be augmented in our project. The recruitment process was completed within two weeks and the team was ready to start.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The quick observations and results were better and later on, we took a brief review of overall progress. It was found that they were managing the project easily and trouble-free without involving any confusion or roadblocks in the work. As the project is going on, we are happy to see their performance, responsiveness, and domain knowledge which is helping a huge in our work.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There is a very streamlined and open workflow followed by Ideators and all their team members. They use to keep things simple without indulging in any time-wasting approaches. Their agile approach to doing tasks significantly reduces the workload and pressure.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their mode of communication and responsiveness truly stands out among many of their attributes which helps us solve problems at a very quick pace.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, we don't think so, but they should keep focusing on applying more research-based practices and methods.

I am a Senior Field Service Engineer at Verizon Business. I mainly manage operations related to our network security, firewalls, and protection. I am a part of the team that is working directly with the augmented team of cyber security specialists and analysts by Ideators.

As I am a part of the team to manage our cyber security operations and to make our systems and network more reliable and immune to modern threats, we were in search of a reliable technical team to manage our cyber protection.

Ideators got to our notice through Clutch and LinkedIn where we found more information about their services, previous clients, and their red team augmentation. They previously worked within similar capacities and roles and engagements. We also found some interesting facts and reviews about their staff augmentation services and the model that they follow. Combined together, we found them to be the right service provider for this project.

The project was initiated with the meeting or core teams from our side and their side, including our Field service engineers, Field managers, and Assistant director. Ideators communicated and shared their offerings and presentations with a tailored solution, in context to our requirements. Once the project was discussed and decided by the management of both parties, we reviewed their team members and their profiles and commenced the project. The project is still going on and we have plans to keep it going.

It was not direct recruitment of the cyber security professionals, because Ideators had their teams prepared and ready to augment our required services. However, the selection process was conducted where we reviewed their team members and analyzed their portfolios, especially in the Telecom sector.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

This project is still ongoing and we have enhanced our team to double since its commencement. We are seeing a great input of Ideators's team to our cause, in terms of efforts, energies and feedback we receive from our own team about their dedication and skills. They have been great so far.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Both teams quickly adapted to each other's style, communication channel, time frames, and availability. Due to this our communication and coordination between remote teams got flexible and convenient. Since it was a 24/7 task, we always found them responsive and available on the call of duty (in certain cases)

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team is highly accurate and skilled in their core domain. They keep an eye on everything and respond to the query immediately.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Well, to my recent knowledge, they have been doing great and improving it every next day. We did not find anything that needs their attention

We are a leading consulting firm with operations in more than 8 domains, particularly in real estate, investment, careers, placements, healthcare, and professional services. I look after accounts and management for the property section of this firm.

Our firm needed end-to-end, enterprise-level property and asset management software, for which we had compliance and regulatory involved, due to which we needed dedicated software engineers to work on our own terms and conditions. We had some serious commitments to our stakeholders due to which we could not elongate the process. Therefore we commenced the project within a month of our contact with Ideators. The initial stage required the proposal and portfolio for the available engineers, hourly rates, and screening. The final stage was to onboard the shortlisted resources and engage them with our existing IT team.

First, we were provided with the right engineers who had some previous experience in those frameworks and niches we were thinking of, real estate and property management. Then moving forward, we screened the candidates for the second round of technical interviews and analytical tests. Finally, we selected some of the resources as they were a great fit for our desired solutions.

As soon as the project commenced, we witnessed their sole dedication and efforts to bring results at a very early level. This shows their commitment to bringing results and success to the client. As the project is not yet completed and is still ongoing, we expect to see the same level of collaboration and dedication.

The entire workflow was made and optimized to minimize errors, miscommunication, and delays in delivery. This was possible because Ideators' project manager and our internal team too.

Their technical grip over platforms, languages, and workflows takes them to a whole next level of software engineering. They provide in-depth feedback and are blunt and open to addressing the issues in a correct manner. They are a true problem solver

Monitoring of system is satisfactory, the results are optimizing the energy as before results were on certain assumptions.

So far, our website is quite attractive, and capable enough to grab the audience. We are already ranked on first page for numerous relevant business keywords.

We are always on touch. We hangout often with our team members on office occasions. We communicate via Email, and Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Transparency - single most important thing about this firm. They do not hide anything, they are straightforward and clear about their offering and pricing. Their policies are not rigid.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Reporting could be better and more frequently. I would suggest that to them.
