Our brand was still strong and recognizable, but we’d outgrown some aspects of the original design system as our business evolved. The challenge was to refine and expand our brand toolkit to reflect the maturity and momentum of Laborde Products today, updating color usage, layout rules, and visual applications to work seamlessly with our new website and evolving marketing materials.

We originally partnered with Gatorworks in 2019 for a full rebrand and website redesign. They completely transformed how people saw Laborde Products. Fast forward to 2025, our business has grown tremendously and evolved in big ways. We re-engaged Gatorworks to help us refresh and expand on the strong foundation they built. The goal was to modernize the website, evolve the design, and update messaging to reflect who we’ve become today, without losing what made the brand so “us” in the first place.

Gatorworks helped us update our full set of brand guidelines, refining details like logo usage, typography, and expanded color systems while introducing new design direction for digital and print consistency. They also helped ensure our in-house creative team could apply the refreshed system easily going forward. The result was a brand that feels elevated and unified, the same recognizable Laborde Products, just sharper and more complete.

The project entailed a complete overhaul on a new WordPress instance, carrying over content that could be salvaged from our previous site. The project started with a few discovery and design sessions, at which point Gatorworks took the ball and ran with it. They designed a site which far exceeded our expectations, with minimal input required, and very few changes requested after the initial drafts.

My favorite outcome is how we have lists segmented now. If someone wants to join our parade as a full Krewe where they organize it, participate as a walker or rider, be a band or entertainer in the parade or get information on the Shamrock Run each of those are kept in separate Google Sheets making it easy to work with. They accepted what we said without arguing or trying to talk us out of things. However, they always gave their advice... which is what we wanted and expected.

So far our CTR% has been above standard percentages. Our graphics have been fluid and designed beautifully. Cameron has been awesome with communication and keeping us in the loop and just readily available to speak with me and making us feel valued. GatorWorks has been awesome.
