The scope included full-cycle mobile app development from user research and wireframing to cross-platform development and launch support. Fyresite delivered an iOS and Android app that included an interactive schedule, personalized agendas, film discovery by genre and country, push notifications, a media gallery, and a networking hub for guests and delegates. They also ensured it integrated smoothly with our backend CMS, allowing our team to update screening times and event information without needing technical assistance. One of the most essential deliverables was the attendee badge QR integration, which simplified on-ground access control.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Even though the app's success went beyond metrics, we could see its impact right from launch. Our attendees spent more time engaging with the schedule and less time seeking on-site assistance. There was a noticeable drop in registration desk queues, and our media teams reported better coordination thanks to the real-time updates and team messaging function built into the platform. Most importantly, feedback from international guests praised the app’s ease of use, especially with the language toggle that helped bridge Arabic and English fluently.

What struck us most was their ability to merge creative understanding with technical precision. Fyresite didn’t just deliver what we asked for they made the product feel like Red Sea. Their UX team took inspiration from our visual identity, our cultural values, and the cinematic energy we stand for, and transformed it into an interface that people genuinely enjoyed using. You rarely find a tech partner who understands storytelling Fyresite did.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Fyresite could have done differently?
If there’s one thing we’d hope to see improved, it would be more comprehensive post-launch analytics dashboards. While they provided basic usage tracking, we had to use a third-party tool for deeper engagement data. That said, this was more of a stretch goal than a gap and knowing their team, I’m confident it would’ve been addressed if we’d flagged it earlier.

We collaborated closely with their UX team to make sure the shopping experience was intuitive even for users browsing on mobile from a festival crowd. They built custom modules for product drops tied to artist tours, allowed for dynamic pricing based on inventory and time, and integrated with our CRM and analytics tools. The admin dashboard they delivered was tailored to our marketing team’s daily workflow, and they also helped us set up automated promotional banners that adjust in real time based on campaign timing.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
While we're still collecting long-term data, what we noticed immediately was an improvement in conversion during time-sensitive campaigns. Merch drops sold through smoothly, even when thousands of users hit the store at once. The speed of the site, particularly during mobile checkout, was a huge win for us. Internally, our team is spending less time troubleshooting and more time creating. If we’re being honest, the onboarding documents could have been a bit more comprehensive. The backend is powerful, but a more structured guide for new team members would’ve saved us some early back-and-forth. They also built an API layer that allowed us to seamlessly sync data with our CRM and inventory systems, while maintaining robust security compliance in line with European standards.

What made this partnership truly successful was how much the new platform improved operational efficiency for both our internal users and our customers. The biggest challenge was migrating the data in such a way that maintained the integrity and format of our previous system while we sun-setted that platform. They worked closely with anybody they could and took initiative and accountability for the project.
The deliverables included 3 different websites pooltables.com, billiards.com and darts.com. The main two, pooltables.com and billiards.com, both had different data sets which, unfortunately, meant they had to do two complete data migrations which led to more front and back end work than anticipated.

Executive level communication. There were times when more senior level communications were needed, going both ways.

My initial ask were not as expansive as some companies. I had a vision and the Fyresite team was able to implement well beyond what I was even asking.
