What challenge were you trying to address with Flowhance?

I wanted to build an engaging and strong customer-facing website. We also hired Flowhance to handle our SEO and branding strategies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a discovery call to figure out what we needed on the website, and they also asked us what kind of website we were looking for. After we shared the functionalities we needed, the team proceeded to develop our platform. Flowhance integrated animations and videos in the background. They also installed plugins that could show our five-star reviews.

On top of that, they created forms that were automatically sent out to specific teams and departments in our company. For example, when someone filled out a form found on the career page, the answers would be automatically sent out to our recruiter.

Apart from the site’s features, we wanted the team to ensure that our platform was aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly. They handled our SEO services, and they created content based on their research and the samples we gave them. They already completed their projects with Titanium Solar, but I’m personally working with them on different things. As an example, I'm discussing a potential software development project with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we worked with them, our recruiting and sales efforts increased dramatically. In addition, people were able to recognize us when we participated in events and other similar activities. Their work really helped us establish our branding and cultural identity.

How did Flowhance perform from a project management standpoint?

They had a great project management process. The team produced all of our deliverables in a timely manner, and they were extremely responsive to us. We also liked that we were able to add our comments while we were in the project's development phase. Above all, they delivered above and beyond my expectations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provided us with a premier-level service, and we were truly impressed by their industry knowledge. Although they were a little bit more expensive than others, they provided us with quality work. Overall, they were worth every penny.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I could be impatient at times, so I believe they could improve their speed. However, I would like to clarify that they never missed a deadline.

Make sure you truly understand all expectations from both parties. Understand the project’s scope of work and timelines because Flowhance will be very clear about what they’re going to do and how they’re going to deliver it.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flowhance?

I just launched my business a month ago, and they helped me develop my website, logo, and marketing strategy. They were with me from the ground up and were fundamental in turning my idea into a business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Flowhance wanted to give me a product I really liked. First, we sat down and discussed my goals. I told them the features I wanted and what I needed our website to be capable of. Then, Flowhance went to the drawing board and showed me sample websites of what our website could be. It was a lot of very good back-and-forth, but I was always in the loop. 

Flowhance developed a WordPress website for me, which I really wanted and pressed for. They also designed our logo and branding, which took a lot of trial and error. In addition to that, their team helped me with our hosting, maintenance, and advertising.

They helped me every step of the way, from making the logo and header bigger to the launching of it. We’re also in the process of getting our marketing strategy implemented. They’ve given us advice and guidance on what to post on our social media and what’s best for our business. They’ve given us all the proper tools to do what we want to do with our business.

Flowhance was referred to us by word of mouth. I was shopping around for someone to do my website. We had a Zoom meeting, which went really well and gave me a sense of comfort. I did some research on their Clutch.co profile to see all their wonderful reviews and what people had to say about them. Additionally, they were very accommodating and eager to listen, which was one of the main reasons I chose them.

Our initial investment was around $15,000, and another $3,000 for monthly maintenance and advertising.

We worked with Flowhance from November 2020–March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The feedback I got back from customers and colleagues was that the website was easy to use and aesthetically-pleasing on their end. There were no hiccups, which, being an e-commerce business, was super important to hear. 

I’ve heard that WordPress sites are harder for people on the backend. However, this was not the case for us. On my end, it was super easy to use, but I didn’t do anything crazy on it besides uploading products and changing prices. Flowhance really took the time to make it as user-friendly as possible, and that was something I really wanted. 

Unlike other companies, they didn’t try to talk us out of the WordPress platform or give us a quote for something else. That was very nice to hear because I’m the type of person that, if I ask for something nicely, I expect it done, especially since I’m paying for it in a service. 

How did Flowhance perform from a project management standpoint?

Flowhance was very punctual with deadlines, sometimes even sooner, which I liked. They were never late, and if they were, they had a reason why. The only time they were late on a deadline was when they were redoing my logo and I changed the entire idea in the middle of the process. They kept me in the loop so I was not guessing what was happening. They always included me and made sure they were doing what I wanted.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Something that really stood out for me was Flowhance’s ages. They were all really young, under 40 years old, and seeing people my age in a position of leadership was really comforting. That made it more relatable to me and made me feel like I was talking to a friend as opposed to just someone that was doing my website.

Flowhance talked to their customers with such respect and understanding, and the way they ran internally truly felt like a sense of community, which was something I really enjoyed. Their team was so helpful and willing to listen — I can’t thank them enough. With them, there were no secrets or runarounds. They gave me their mobile numbers for me to text them for any question, concerns, or anything I wasn’t sure about and respond very quickly.

Whenever we had any complications or concerns, even on the weekends, they were very reticent to answer my text messages. They were super involved and helpful at any stage that we were in, or with any struggle that we were facing.

I didn’t know how to build a website and always had so many questions. However, they always assured me that the questions were completely normal and made me feel like a part of the development of the website, even though I was not. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It was such a positive experience, but maybe having more things in writing would help them improve. Give your clients a questions sheet or a document when they sign up for your services that includes who to call for support when something goes wrong. I’m just the type of person that likes to have things in writing.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be open and ask as many questions as possible. Don’t be afraid to try something new, trust them, and know that they’ve done this more than once. If you can’t get off your high horse thinking if working with them is wise, just have an open mind and trust their process because it really works.

I’m the chairman of the board for Home Boca. We’re a charity that serves the homeless.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flowhance?

Our team hired them as our digital programmer to enhance and expand our website as well as lead us on a digital marketing plan. Our biggest goal was to communicate with our supporters with brief and direct comments. We didn’t want to deter them from their busy schedules but wanted to keep their attention focused for a brief moment to connect with our cause.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Flowhance built our website and created a foundation for us to grow upon as we broadened our message and communicated our mission to the broader community. They helped our platform evolve into Facebook and Instagram accounts as well. What’s more, their team broadened our communication with advertising over several mediums.

We’ve renovated the site since its initial inception. In this newer version, we streamlined the facility and connections, uploaded a lot of data to link to the public with our causes, and provided information about the histories of our fundraisers and galas. The Flowhance team has added visual tools, podcasts, and videos that broaden our footprint and raise awareness in the greater community.

The original connection was through a founding board member. Some of the employees of his company knew about David’s capability as well as spirit with charities and how he’d mitigate prices to help them afford the work.

Our ongoing engagement started in December 2016.

Flowhance brought our website into the 21st century. We now have over 70,000 people as a targeted audience who are within a 30-mile radius to our headquarters. Our video content and podcasts will be seen and heard by a gigantic group of people in our own backyard.

How did Flowhance perform from a project management standpoint?

Davis is unbelievable. He’s been fastidious about meeting time obligations and making our plans work in concert with the commitments we have to our donors and volunteers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re great problem solvers. If we give them a task to achieve, they think out of the box and get very creative in coming up with unique ideas that display our ideals and concepts. Their team has used the digital platform they’ve created for us as a modicum to broaden our exposure. If we have specific changes to make, they’re handled in real-time or within the hour. I couldn’t ask for much more than that.

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let them price your expansive wish list without reserve and itemize all the costs to determine what’ll be required at what expense. Prioritize your requirements accordingly.

I’m the co-owner of Sapphire Capital, doing business as JMC Capital Investment Group. We work in real estate for single and multi-family properties.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flowhance?

We reached out to Flowhance to support our online presence through web hosting and site design. The site needed to look professional and clean to attract buyers and investors.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Flowhance redesigned and developed our website. We had an initial discovery meeting to gather all of the information that they needed to start the project. From there, they gave us a proposal along with a timeline that broke down what we could expect.

I was impressed by the different design options that they presented. They were meticulous with the details, explaining how certain colors, shapes, designs, and fonts could mean different things about our business.

During that project, they also designed our current logo, set up our email accounts, and suggested different CRMs to help us keep track of our clients. We settled on HubSpot, and they gave a tutorial on how to publish blogs. They also taught us how to send out email blasts and create weekly newsletters.

They were on point. They did everything that they said they would at the right time. If there was a bit of a hiccup, they would email us promptly to push the deadline back. I really had no complaints nor issues.

When I saw their portfolio, I knew that they were exactly what I needed. We were trying to reach a different type of clientele through the visuals of our site, and they were able to provide that. I’m very grateful for their work.

I’m the marketing director for a luxury CBD brand. We serve luxury spas worldwide, and we also have an e-commerce platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?                                            

Flowhance helped us design and develop a new Shopify site for our skincare line called “Antara”. Initially, we asked for a very quick 5-week build for a simple microsite. Then, we adjusted our scope as we discovered we needed to include lab reports. The Flowhance team was able to build something from scratch to help fill our needs.

The team went above and beyond for us when our scope completely changed. Even in the beginning, we gave them a pretty hard ask to get things off the ground. The team went to bat for us to make it happen, and the additional costs were not crippling.

How did Flowhance perform from a project management standpoint?

They did an excellent job with project management. They assigned us a project manager who had a stress-free style, which we found helpful. It worked for our project since our needs changed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were especially excited about the breadth of their expertise. Compare to other agencies, they seemed like they had a much deeper knowledge of data and servers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We could have identified the scope of work more solidly on the frontend, but it was really just a scenario where they were trying to adapt to our needs and say yes to what we wanted. We both learned our lesson from that incident.

My advice is to be clear about what you need, and they’ll be able to deliver.

Currently, they provide maintenance on the website or if there is anything I want to change, they make those changes. They also prepare folders, rack card designs, and brand guidelines.

They’re excellent at getting things done and meeting deadlines. I can’t think of a time where they’ve missed a deadline or a commitment they’ve made. I’ve slow in getting back to them in response. We communicate via phone, text, and email, but we also have in-person conversations. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Flowhance dumbs things down for someone who’s not a technology person. They help me understand what needs to be and how their vision works with my vision. Learning what, why, and how they’re doing what they do is important to me, and they make that happen.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything that needs improvement. Flowhance has a solid organization. They’re really professional. When they tell you they’re going to do something, it’s done.

You really have to be open and honest with them. You have to trust what they’re doing; to trust them, you have to build a relationship. That relationship starts with communication.

We worked together from April until July 2019. Any delay was on our end. They pushed us, but because I was insistent on creating a lot of our own content, they ended up doing a lot of waiting on us.

We’re 100% satisfied with the website. We get some calls when we previously got none, and they come from the website.

They effectuated our vision and designed our logo. We had no idea what it should look like, only what we wanted to represent.

We’re a nonprofit that distributes free reusable water bottles in communities to help them live more sustainably. I’m the founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flowhance?

We were working with them to create a Shopify site. We initially designed a Squarespace site, and it was not fulfilling our needs. Flowhance had the tools to help us make that transition easily.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an existing design, and we asked them to migrate the platform to Shopify. Then, they added a basic shop component as well. I’m also a web designer, so we have really advanced brand guidelines, and I provided very specific details for them to follow.

A friend worked with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started together in November 2019, and the site went live in January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did a great job. I’d give them a ten out of ten. Users really enjoy the website. When we hop on the phone with users, people comment on how the site looks. It looks like it’s custom and high-end, which is good because we’re a small team. They followed the brand guidelines well, which is a skill in itself.

How did Flowhance perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re total professionals. They handled everything and went above and beyond in a few areas. We typically communicated by text. I trusted them to get their work done and they met all of their deadlines. They’re always ready to go if we have a call scheduled.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They did a really amazing job. They’re talented. They’re a small, lean team now, and they’re perfect for specific projects.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had one minor design thing that popped up a few times, and we pushed on that a bit because it was really important to us. They were incredibly patient though and were able to implement our feedback.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you know exactly what you want, have a strong set of examples, and Flowhance will be perfect for you. If you need more design help, I can’t speak with their ability to do that because that isn’t what we worked on.
