They helped us to develop an e-commerce solution for our brand that allows us to market our products online and to manage all of the listings in order to update or remove them as our offerings change.

I worked directly with one member of their team, the project manager of our project.

When I knew that I needed an e-commerce platform to be developed, I looked through a lot of different companies online in order to find the best provider. They stood out in that initial review process, so we decided to work with them.

The total cost has been about $300 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2020 and are continuing the project together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They helped us significantly with the technology and the solutions that they were able to provide to our team. We are pleased with the progress we have made so far and are excited about the final product that we will be able to achieve thanks to their help.

How did FATbit Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We worked within their internal project management software, which helped us to stay on top of communication and milestones. There have been no problems in that regard, and we are continuing to work closely with their company on a day-to-day basis.

The level of service that they provide to their customers is really excellent. They demonstrate commitment to our success in all of their work, which is rare for a third-party provider and we really appreciate it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t really think there is anything they need to do better.

Our company houses the goods of black-owned beauty supply vendors. From hair extensions, to hair care products, down to home remedies all can be found on our site. This a brand new project.

My goals are to allow sellers direct payments from their buyers and the ability to expand their local business to the next level.

How did you select this vendor?

Through research I learned that FATbit/YoCart were very responsive and very catering toward the needs of the buyer and their project. Since my interaction with them that has been the case! The service has been amazing.

FATbit is building out the marketplace solutioning platform to include panels for the admin, sellers and of course the buyers. Each of these panels will allow the end user to optimize their experience and gain an overall appreciation for the brand.

So far I have worked with one sales Rep and one product manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This business is very new however I can say that FATbit/YoCart has been very responsive to the fact that this is my first major project.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

My project manager and I communicate through What’s App. Whenever I have questions he is extremely responsive and if something requires a demo we’ve used Hangouts.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find their Willingness to accommodate the customer extraordinary! I am in EST and my Project Manager in India. I also work a full-time job separate from this project however my project manager had not allowed that to stop him!

As of now nothing major.

We hired FATbit to create a custom commerce platform that fit both our business model and company culture.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a fast, responsive software platform that could capture the essence of KoutureStudio's branding initiatives while providing a highly functional and familiar experience for our users.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Renting event equipment can be a very complex process that doesn't necessarily follow the scope and flow of a traditional e-commerce platform that just sells products. After several interviews with the company, we decided to select FATbit as a collaborative vendor with this process. The communication was good, they were patient and thorough with understanding our needs, and provided an AGILE approach to executing the work.

The new product is an AWS based CRM/Website/Commerce hybrid that efficiently facilitate's both the user and the employee's working experience. The front end is composed of a familiar shopping cart system with modern design functionality that entices users to interact with the platform. The backend is a sophisticated mix of data dashboards and design tools that any member of the team can get familiar with and perform their job duties.

The team consisted of myself as the client, one of their sales agent, and one of their project managers along with a team of developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

While still not completed for launch, the product is still in it's design development phase. However initial employee experience with the platform has been very positive.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was arranged through the bizixx platform. The platform gives developers access to documents, client comments, tools, and bug suggestions. I primarily communicated with the project manager however via Skype.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The level of organized detail, ease of communication, and the fair pricing impressed us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

A Slack or more common collaborative communication platform that works would speed up and enhance communication further and allow for easier sharing of documents.

We contacted two persons, one from the sales department and one programmer. We know that there was a bigger team trying to meet our needs.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

So far every technical issue we had was resolved by the FATbit Technologies team, our cooperation is successful and we hope our initial hopes and expectations will be met.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The responsiveness to our issues was immediate and everything has been solved. In order to communicate we use Bizixx, Skype and Whatsapp.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

FATbit Technologies was very responsive and provided a complete working platform as well as immediate tech support.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only inconvenience we had was that the price they demanded for an additional feature (more than one VAT percentages option) was out of proportion and costed almost as much as the entire platform. So we had to find a way around it to solve this issue.

I hired FATbit because of the platform-product which they have developed called Yokart. During a skype meeting we discussed the adjustments I had in mind and they drafted a Scope of Work to make the adjustments.

My goal for this project was to end up with a high quality online market place which met the standards required for the Dutch market (The Netherlands), within a certain price range.

I selected FATbit based on their website information and referals to projects already delivered. Also on their website you can already log in to the products in demo version.

The project was to develop an online Marketplace with multiple back-end users as wel on the buyer side as on the sellers side. The online Marketplace should have multiple navigation options which meant real complex coding and structuring. At the same time the usability should be of high standard in both the back-end as the front-end of the platform. The platform should also provided features to analyse sales, new customers, new sellers, sold products et cetera into detail.

What was the team composition?

The team had one team leader which was in the lead considering the communication with me. The rest of the team existed in about 10 perons and were developers of diffirent displines. The team had every aspect covered what the projcet needed.

The impact of the project is that without FATbit and the product they delivered I would not be able to start my business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was arranged through a project management tool also developed by them called Bizixx. It was a very effective way of working and it kept me on top of the project at any given moment.

I was suprised by the high quality of work and the swift and thorough way of communicating. Every step of the process was discussed in detail.

I wouldn't change a thing. It was high level service.

Project manager from Fatbit, that received my requirements and manage the client side development (iOS and Andriod). The backend side was manage by my team and we integrate accordingly.

The new app open our market to the whole world. Before that it was available only in USA and Canada.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate with, provided frequent updates and was available for any of my questions. We connected by Hangouts calls and texting.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Understanding my requirements and even giving me solution that my team didn't think about it.

Are there any areas for improvement?

UI/UX developers need to be more careful with the designs, but eventually the app looks good and fulfilled our requirements.

Our company simply wanted to have an online platform that was able to host daily deals for small businesses throughout our state. We saw an opportunity to help so we decided to put our time and money towards a good cause.

The issues we wanted to solve was to create an advertising website that would be able to run as a cost-effective advertising platform. Advertising can be very expensive for small businesses and we wanted to be an outlet when it comes to helping promote our wonderful startups.

FATbit Technologies was a company we stumble across after we had a bad experience with a company within the States. When it comes to finding a company that was able to make our visions come alive, FATbit Technologies was able to show us they could do it all. We needed a platform that hosted many businesses and they had great modules to pick from. We found a platform that suited us well and would be able to perform adequately for us.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were pretty straightforward. We wanted an e-commerce site that would be able to host our local businesses in a few different ways when it comes to advertising. After some discussions with our FATbit team, we found that they had the ability to develop the site to our standards. We proceeded to hire them as our developers soon after.

The platform had to incorporate multiple ways of promoting businesses. So we needed some custom alterations to the coding on the platform. After we were given the demo of how our project would turn out, we were extremely pleased to have picked this company for our website development. This was huge for our company to grow and also for our future merchants to have an advertising website that can host so many different deals that best suits their needs.

How did you select this vendor?

FATbit Technologies was a company selected after many weeks of searching. We stumbled across a few reviews that had grabbed our interest to reach out for more information. We had multiple companies we were in talks with before proceeding.

After having to change directions from the first company we worked with we were very cautious when choosing our future website development company. Our company reviewed our business plan and made sure we understood what we needed when deciding on our vendor.

After some arranging a few Skype meetings we knew that everything we needed to be done for our website would be possible. Our team of investors and I would ultimately made the decision to choose FATbit Technologies.

Our project started in February of 2019 and is ongoing as of now. We had to take a break to reanalysis our needs and to confirm what we wanted. Through our first couple of months, we had a team that we thought we had good communication with on how our project was to be done.

There had been some ups and downs throughout the process. Mostly good, but we did have a two to three-week stint that we lost communication with our team due to some changes within the company. This delayed us and aggravated us very much. We actually took the time to think about proceeding any further with this FATbit technologies. Our deadlines were getting pushed out without any heads up on what was going on.

Then came a change, a change that we were not happy with at the time, but turned out to be a blessing. Our business was transferred to a new team that has taken very good care of us and been patient as well as being much more punctual.

The communication had become much better with our new team that would understand all of our needs. We later wanted to invest more in our website and they were there every step of the way to help us build our vision. The consulting has been wonderful, especially when our time zones are almost 12 hours apart.

The team was mainly made up of two people. This does not count the developers that worked on our project in the backend. We would work with a salesperson for building quotes for all of the projects. Then we have a consultant that would speak on our behalf to the developers. She was also our go-to person with any questions throughout the whole process. The only issue we had through this process was our first team of two had been changed midway through our project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As a startup business, we cannot demonstrate any impacts to our business at this moment. All we can say is that our expectations with the website that is created for us to do business is spot on to our needs and we have high expectations with our future progress in building our company.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

If our review was written back in April 2019 we would have a very different tone to how we talk about this being effective. Let's first explain the first process from February 2019-April 2019. Expectations on how the site was to be built at the time were good, but responsiveness and meeting deadlines were awful. We had our project delayed many times, we had communication issues with our team as well. After our team change had occurred we were put on a much better path to success.

Everything improved including communication and meeting expected deadlines. It was an unexpected turn around that we were very fortunate for. We still never were told what officially happened with our old team before, but we were happy to move on from them.

This company is based out of India and we had no language barrier whatsoever. But our time difference was 11 hours which made early morning meetings for myself living in central time zone. This also made late nights for the FATbit team which they accommodated too very often.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive feature I would say about FATbit technologies is they are what I like to call "YES MEN". Simply put, they can do it all. If you can think of something they will make it work. This certainly was the most appealing strength that ultimately made us choose this company to work with. Before working with FATbit we had previously worked with a company that always had limits to our ideas. We would recommend this company if you have an imaginative vision that you'd like to come alive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Create a company here in America so we can work on regular business hours. This is totally a joke, kind of. With the team I have now, I would like to report no improvements. My old team would have had a laundry list of issues.

Fatbit Technologies designed and integrated a purpose built state of the art system for BottleSales that is leading the curve in ecommerce here in Australia.

The team was large and verified and very competent in their skill sets . The team really did step up and deliver in particular when BottleSales wanted to push the enveloping in developing a leading edge platform that could scale to deployed into international markets. Many thanks to Gursimran Singh and his team , they did an amazing job.
