We were running our paid media operation through another agency placed overseas. This arrangement worked for us in our initial growth, however I saw the need for a partner that was locally based, who could change and iterate at the speed we iterate. Regular face to face meetings are very important to me, which is something Farsiight are incredibly adept in facilitating.
Once we met, I outlined our company strategy and was upfront that this is the way we need to work. Farsiight took the strategy, embraced it, developed their own processes to compliment it and proceeded to deliver results that exceeded KPI's on day one, and continue to blow us away today.
Week to week Farsiight develop fresh creative concepts that align to our ecommerce product calendar - they manage the process from concept through to creation, through to implementation and optimisation - I cannot stress enough how much confidence we have in the Farsiight team to deliver what we need, when we need it.

I am the CTO at an online real estate agency/platform which assists property owners to sell and lease properties themselves for a flat fee. Our company has a small team of under 10 employees and we serve customers Australian wide. We service more than 2000 active listings at any given time.

Before hiring FarSiight our Adwords were doing 'OK' but we never seemed to be able to scale. Our marketing across different channels was either non existent, disorganised or just poorly done and not cutting through.
There was no omnichannel approach. We hired FarSiight for PPC (Google Adwords/Bing), PSA (Facebook/Instagram), email marketing related CRO. Overall FarSiight task was to to overhaul our entire online customer acquisition strategy, and move us to a truly scalable strategy where all channels work together in harmony, not in silos.
What were your goals for this project?
At its simplest - more revenue. The longer answer - we wanted to move to a scalable and profitable digital marketing strategy that would drive growth for our platform. Specifically, the goal was two parts.
Firstly, we wanted to restructure in Adwords so that we could increase marketing spend whilst remaining at a benchmark CPA. Secondly, we wanted to begin integrating other marketing strategies (social, remarketing, email marketing) and to ensure that all of these were being done RIGHT.
We anticipated that this could have a potentially huge impact on our conversion rate, cost per acquisition and overall turnover.
SOLUTION
How did you select Farsiight?
FarSiight had been recommended to us from another company whom we trust. We had not been actively looking for a a new provider at the time but after their free review of the current state of our Adwords and more broadly our entire digital marketing strategy, we were chomping at the bit to work with them.
The deciding factors that led us to hire FarSiight was their agreeing to tangible engagement targets, the level of detail in the reviews and proposals demonstrating substantial skill and expertise across their team, and the excellent quality of communication.

After we selected FarSiight they had us complete a checklist for access across various channels followed by a detailed series of questions about our business and customers.
FarSiight were then able to build out Avatars for our business, isolate hooks for those avatars and create a multi level funnel across Google/Faceboook/email. In the early stages of the project they kept us highly involved so we poured in information and signed off on every bit of creative that was produced, and major and minor decisions taken.
Farsiight were responsible for strategy across each channel, bid decisions adjustments etc, all copywriting, all graphic design banner creation (image/videos/giphy) as well as all the tracking and reporting.
What was the team composition?
The team composition at FarSiight is impressive. We've primarily dealt with 3-4 people including the director, head of social/CRO, head of PPC, and a copy editor.
Through their transparency we are aware that they are also supported by a number of other team members who take ownership of different aspects of early stage work before it comes back to the department heads for final sanity checks/approvals/reviews.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Although it is still relatively early days as we have not yet seen out a 6 month appointment we are seeing some very exciting results. As an example, for September year on year we have seen a 20% increase in revenue!!
This is during COVID where many offices are experiencing significant drops. We have also seen a strong increase in ROAS. We feel that we are now well positioned for future scaling whereas before this wasn't possible with our piecemeal approach.
We have also been delighted that we now have a consistent and highly professional image across a variety of channels. We have also had significant engagement on our Facebook pages with very positive feedback from our customers.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow with FarSiight is outstanding and has made us reconsider contracts we have for services with other companies now that we've seen what a workflow can be like.
Everything is planned, assigned and tracked in Monday so it's easy to get a birds eye view at any time of where things are in the pipeline. Farsiight also have Monday communicate to a Slack channel so that we get updates in real time.
Additionally we've been able to directly reach out to FarSiight team members whenever needed for chats via Slack. FarSiight also provided us weekly detailed reporting at the beginning of the project which has now moved to monthly and quarterly reporting which they run through via a Zoom call to ensure we understand the report fully and have opportunity to raise and questions or concerns.
We always felt we had a strong understanding of what was going on, what was next, who was working on what, what was required of us etc. There have never been any delays or issues with communication or workflow at any point.
We were regularly asked for feedback and for what FarSiight could to to make discussions and reporting more helpful to us - cannot fault them.

They go above and beyond.
They've supported us in a number of ways e.g giving CRO feedback on our site, promo advice, marketing concepts explanations, advising on software tools, helping design and evaluate new landing pages in order to support their efforts. Without this, we wouldn't have experienced anywhere nearly as much success.

Honestly, I couldn't really suggest any areas for improvement. The only thing we'd like to see is for them to branch into other areas so that we can hire them for more things!

For what projects/services did your company hire Farsiight?
Initially we were wanting to optimise our Mother's Day promotional campaign, but also saw this as the ideal starting point for advertising on social media. As this campaign was during the national lockdown, we needed to capture and market to our in-store customers while acquiring a new customer base online.
We hired Farsiight to do the crucial groundwork in creating paid social ad campaigns and finding our audience on these channels.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to make our Mother's Day campaign a success online to offset the loss of sales in our stores during lockdown. Beyond that, our objective was to find our ideal audiences online through social media and to market directly to these customers. We wanted our ad campaigns to have maximum profitability whilst acquiring new customers.

During the selection process we approached three other agencies for proposals. After receiving Farsiight's proposal and engaging with them personally it was clear that their agency was well-aligned with our brand and our goals.

Farsiight's scope encompassed the strategy behind paid social ad campaigns, the ad creation and scaling our growth. Initially, there was some collaboration to ensure that the creative remained on-brand and representative of our specialist product.
After the account set-up I provided the materials and feedback for the ads while Farsiight was responsible for the production of them. The truest test of their capabilities was our initial Mother's Day campaign. We needed it up and running quickly and they worked hard to deliver on this.
What was the team composition?
For the most part there are three people from the Farsiight team I worked with and consulted with. After the initial set-up, I mostly spoke to their Lead Copywriter on a weekly basis with regards to creative and copy. The Head of Operations made regular contact with us and was across everything happening in our account.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our initial promotional campaign was a resounding success. As it was our first time using social media advertising we we didn't have a yardstick, but we were aiming for a high ROAS. Farsiight achieved a ROAS of 12 on our account for this period. Demonstrative of Farsiight's skill, the ROAS on ads targeting new customers was very high too.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication from the team was brilliant. Their project management is clearly a well-oiled machine. The workflow was efficiently managed through Slack, allowing for a high degree of responsiveness and providing a collaborative space for building creative.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Farsiight's commitment, care-factor and professionalism are second to none. Beyond their obvious expertise, they offer a genuine care for our brand and excitement for driving our growth. We were blown away by how hard they worked and how often they went the extra mile. This is a data-driven agency with a personal touch; an incredibly high value combination.

What challenge were you trying to address with Farsiight?
We needed a company to help us with our SEO and digital marketing.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Farsiight helps us with our SEO. They do our AdWords and Microsoft Ads, and they create the content and visuals for those ads such as banners and animations. They also do taglines and all the text in the ads.
Additionally, the team manages all of our ads on Google and Bing. We give them keywords and they optimize them. They manage the budgets, track performance, and come up with new ideas of where our ads can be placed, too.
What is the team composition?
We have three points of contact.
How did you come to work with Farsiight?
We sent out a large number of briefs to agencies. We wanted someone who was based in Australia. We got a large number of proposals back.
Farsiight’s was the most technical and they understood what we were trying to do. They took the time to understand our business and what we wanted. They answered everything very clearly.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent $25,000 AUD (approximately $17,800 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The main metric we gave them was to increase the number of registrations on our website. Since they’ve fine-tuned the campaigns, it’s now pretty consistent and going well.
How did Farsiight perform from a project management standpoint?
Farsiight’s project management is very good. They are very easy to work with, and they make everything really clear. They’re also always on time with monthly reports, meetings, and updates.
There are never any delays. We communicate via Slack, and the team also has a project management tool that we’re invited to use. We don’t use it very much because we don’t need it on our side.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m happy with the number of registrations we’re getting.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind. If the project continues as is, we will be happy.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend working with Farsiight. They’re a small company with only a handful of people. They may have a lot of demand coming in and may not be so responsive because they don’t have a large team. If they suddenly become very popular, bear with them until they grow a little more.

For what projects/services did your company hire Farsiight, and what were your goals?
Farsiight was hired to take control of the PPC account which, at the time, was being managed by another agency.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I knew of Farsiight as one of the Founders had added me on LinkedIn. It was quite an easy decision for me as they specialise in helping online marketplaces so understanding that business model was a huge bonus. In addition, they offered to review the account at no cost where they identified tracking and structural issues causing huge amounts of wasted ad-spend. Their direction and intention of what they'd do on the account were made very clear in this process.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
Their first port of call with gaining a better understanding of the metrics and business. Onboarding took about a week where we had to provide all access to accounts and filled out a comprehensive sheet of questions. We were presented with a roadmap of deliverables and timeline and they started with tracking changes to improve how conversions were being tracked.
Once tracking was fixed they implemented their new campaigns which were hyper-localised, including ads for every single suburb and region within our target market. They also created remarketing display & Gmail assets to speak to users who visited various suburbs/regions.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
My point of contact on this account is one of the Founders, Josh. However, we have been added to their Slack account and we often hear from the wider PPC team with regards to updates and new opportunities for strategy.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Their campaigns have increased CTR by over 300% whilst decreasing the average CPC. This has led to a huge uptick in conversions at a cheaper cost. What is also exciting is that through such a lift in CTR, we are able to bring in significantly more scale without having to bid more aggressively or look for other ways to bring in traffic.

As mentioned, it's been solid. We communicate on the fly regularly and I receive an update report each Friday with key metrics and commentary.

We communicated through slack, and Josh provided consistent updates of ads, reports, etc to keep us in the loop. In addition, they optimized the campaign quickly to adjust for cold and warm traffic so the media spend was not being wasted.

We worked specifically with Josh but if I understand correctly he had a team of technical workers who built out the actual campaign in google.
